32:24. Myles you misquote scripture. Lev 16:5 does not say they function as singular sacrifice. It just says two goats. In verse 8 it clarifies,
“Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the scapegoat.” The Lord is in contrast to scapegoat. When you say women and other, that implies men. So the scapegoat is not of the Lord.

LOL SDA cultist VS Bible. Yes, the Mosaic law hasn´t changed, but believers have died to the Mosaic law (Romans 7:6) and are under a new law.
Undeniable proof => Hebrews 7:12 "For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a CHANGE OF LAW"
One aspect of that new law for believers: We are NOT allowed to judge because of food/drinks or Sabbaths, Col 2:16. Thus, SDA are exposed as a cult that follows Ellen G. White and NOT the Bible.

When you enter Christ rest you are no longer under the law. The new covenant does repeat all commandments but the sabbath. Those 9 commandments are summarized in the 2 that Jesus gave us (Romans 14:5). We no longer have a day to rest from works but through Jesus we enter God's rest and forever rest from works (Hebrews 4:8-11 there is a different rest that isn't the sabbath)

Former SDA here (even studied theology at SDA university), now a Coptic Orthodox catechumen. I had to chuckle at the end when Keith remarked that the reason SDAs don't dialogue with evangelicals is because evangelicals question their status as Christians. Myles's immediate response was right on the money: SDAs have been teaching that all Protestant churches have become Babylon after 1844 lol. Gee, I wonder why those protestant churches may be a little hostile to you, haha. Sometimes SDAs are so enamored with themselves as "the remnant" that there is zero self-awareness.

The scape goat cannot represent Jesus.
    1. Lots are cast to determine the scapegoat from the sacrificial goat. Lots are cast to allow for divine intervention in picking. If they both represented Jesus, the casting of lots have no significance. You cast lots to choose from two different, not the same. Lev 16:8. Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the scapegoat. The Lord is contrasted with the scapegoat.
    2. Both goats were spotless to indicate that satan started out sinless.
    3. Without the shedding of blood there is no atonement. The scapegoat did not shed blood. Lev 17:11
    4. The wilderness represents where there is void of God’s blessings. That would be hell. The scape goat is sent to wilderness to die on his own(not sacrificed) never to return to the camp. This does not represent Jesus who did return from death.
    5. Jesus carries our sin burden through the daily sacrifice. This sin accumulates all year long. And once a year the day of atonement cleanses the temple and sin is purged from the camp. Lev 16. This is how sin is eternally purged. By placing sin on scapegoat and sent to wilderness which is consistent with Rev 20.
    6. Jesus does carry our sins through the daily sacrifice. He will not carry our sins for all eternity.(what’s the point in that). All sin will be disposed of in lake of fire Rev 20. That is not where Jesus will be, but instead the scape goat will be.
    7. The priests had to make sacrifices for their own sins just prior to the atonement process to differentiate the sin sacrifice and the atonement sacrifice. The atonement process is a corporate process of purging all sins.
    8. If both goats represents Jesus, the implication is that there is a Jesus that died on the cross and there is a Jesus that didn’t. There are some religious sects that believe the avatar Jesus died on the Cross.

Myles Christian says both goats are presented for a sin offering in the old testament but to be honest the scapegoat was let go in the wilderness while the other goat was sacrificed. The two goats were presented for a sin offering but one was to be chosen to be sacrificed the other let go in the wilderness. How can Christ represent the scapegoat? If christ represents the scapegoat, then what happens in the anti-type in the future will christ be let go to go where? Remember these types & symbols were to tell us what will happen for the heavenly. Miles, you can't do a debate without attacking a person, can you?

Not one Adventist including Keith can explain how Satan fulfills the qualifications of being *spotless* because the lot was tossed for both goats, BOTH had to be spotless.. they did not know which one was going to be the one for Azazel and which one was going to be the sacrificed one. But it also does say both are a sin offering, just 2 different roles for that sin offering.
And Jesus absolutely can fulfill both roles, and scripture makes that clear. If you recall even Keith himself looked completely stumped on answering that and still never did (about how Satan can fulfill those requirements of the goats both having to be perfect and spotless)
That’s because the whole idea is ✨blasphemy✨

No type or shadow can perfectly depict the Anti-type.
      You should know that.
Must we believe with Catholics that in order to be saved we must eat the actual body and blood of Christ?
Their were burnt offerings in the Sanctuary service must Christ be burnt to a crisp as well to be the true burnt offering?
We must grasp the essence of the lesson from the Holy Spirit and not harp on the accidental details.
Christ is all the offerings including the scapegoat that is cast out , just as He was rejected of men and of His own, Israel.
      Pray for more discernment.

@@thenowchurch6419 Sorry but Jesus was not cast out as a scapegoat you may have to show this in the scriptures where this is at. The reason that Jesus is not the scapegoat is for this simple reason! The scapegoat was not sacrificed but the other one was sacrificed. Jesus was sacrificed so how can he be sacrificed & at the same time not be sacrificed?? You can’t have them both at the same time. It is either Jesus was sacrificed for our sins or he was not. Make your choice!!! Jesus is sacrificed his blood was shed on the cross & the scapegoat was sent away into the wilderness & never was sacrificed. Pick one brother.
Looking at this, Jesus was sacrificed so you can't have both at the same time. The scapegoat was eventually not sacrificed but Jesus was. If we go along with the belief that Jesus is the fulfillment of the scapegoat then what about now in heaven? When it is all said & done will Jesus go away into some wilderness or go somewhere? To go away to where? Is a wilderness in heaven? The scapegoat was let go into the wilderness with the sins confessed on his head but will Jesus still have those sins confessed on his head & be left to wonder for all eternity & be sent away into a heavenly wilderness? Will Christ be living for eternity bearing our sins?

    • @thenowchurch6419
      @thenowchurch6419 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

@@donny1742 You have not addressed any of the questions and points I posed.
      Why is that?
My main point was that the Anti-Type is the Boss, the type is a shadow and can never exactly depict the real thing.
You cannot force Christ and His Cross to conform to the details of the type.
It is the other way around; the type must be understood in the light of the Anti-type.
Was the Lord's goat sacrificed by hanging on a cross?
      No.
Does that mean that the Messiah is not the Anti-type of the Lord's goat?
You are also wrong in supposing that there is some future fulfillment of Leviticus 16.
You must believe the heresy called the Investigative Judgement.
The Atonement was complete in Christ's crucifixion, resurrection and ascension.
It still is being applied in individual lives but the work is already complete.
Every time a person repents and accepts Christ by Faith, the sin that Christ the scapegoat bore are taken away from the person.
Is there a scripture that calls Christ the Lord's Goat?
      Please present it to me.
The scapegoat bore the sins and took them away.
John 1:29 "Behold ! Thee Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world"
Golgotha, where He was crucified was outside the city gates.
That represents a form of banishment like the scapegoat.
If the Lord's goat type is not exactly copied in the death of Messiah why would the goat for Azazel be copied exactly.
If Satan is the Azazel goat that means he is just banished to live forever roaming free in the wilderness of the cosmos?
Please use some intelligence and discretion.

  • @SimplyTruthAndFacts

The Bible is clear that "without shedding of blood is no remission." Hebrews 9:22. The scapegoat's blood was not offered. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." Lev. 17:11. Notice that blood is required to make atonement. The scapegoat represent the originator of sin satan and not Christ. Christ is represented by the one who is slain and who's blood atones for the broken law. The Bible is clear. Satan is not credited for our atonement in SDA understanding as Myles falsely assert.

    • @answeringadventism
      @answeringadventism  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

“The scapegoat represents the originator of sin”
Yes, this is what Ellen White asserts. Nowhere to be found in Leviticus 16. Scapegoat has nothing to do with responsibility or typifying being the “originator of sin”. There’s a reason your churches exposition of their fundamentals include no scriptural reference to this claim.
Care to answer the objections I presented? Still waiting on you guys to actually deal with the arguments and not just parrot to us the SDA churches claims.
You may not follow the logical conclusions of your claims, but yes, you guys attribute atonement to both Jesus and Satan. Keith admitted this when he said the atonement isn’t accomplished until after the sins are transferred to Satan. This is what your churches official exposition of their own fundamental beliefs also states.
“Notice blood is required to make atonement”
Who is arguing this? The scapegoat typified expiation-the taking away of sins. Both goats functioned as a singular sin offering. Yes, you guys are saying both Jesus and Satan accomplish the Laws sin offering.
You obviously didn’t pay attention to my opening. The slain goat represented the punishment for sin, the scapegoat represented the sin being removed from the people. Again, absolutely nothing to do with responsibility of the goat or typifying the originator of sin. Part of atonement (being reconciled to God) is having your sins not just paid for, but taken away. Of which you guys attribute this to Satan.
Address the issue. All animals involved in offerings and sacrifices had to be blemish free. Satan is not. It’s game over on that alone.

    • @SimplyTruthAndFacts
      @SimplyTruthAndFacts 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@answeringadventismThe reason animals had to be blemish free is because they were chosen by a lot and since the one typified the sacrifice of Jesus and the priest didn’t know which one will be chosen they both had to be the same. The scapegoat goat was not slain which is what a sacrifice must be. The Bible clearly states that with out sheafing of blood there is no forgiveness of sin (Heb. 9:22). This alone shows that the scapegoat doesn’t represent Christ.

    • @answeringadventism
      @answeringadventism  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@SimplyTruthAndFacts false. ALL animals in ALL of the sacrifices and offerings (burnt offerings, fragrant offerings, etc.) had to be blemish free, not just on the Day of Atonement. This was a requirement of the Law. Had nothing to do with the lots. The day of atonement ritual with the two goats is identical to that of the two doves in Leviticus 14.
“The scapegoat was not slain which is what a sacrifice must be”
Again with the strawman. The scapegoat wasn’t a sacrifice. It was an OFFERING. I said this in my opening. I said it to Keith. And I’ve said it to you. You’re literally just regurgitating the SDA script at this point. The scapegoat wasn’t a sacrifice to pay the penalty for sins. IT EXPIATED THE SINS AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE. I had an entire section in my opening discussing this.
Without this second goat, the penalty for sin could be paid (in the slain goat) but the sins were not TAKEN AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE. Hence why the second was needed. And the OFFERING wasn’t complete until the scapegoat was released with the sins being taken away.
It has nothing to do with typifying responsibility like you guys assert. Nothing in the text says this. The blood wasn’t placed on the scapegoat because it was responsible or typified the originator of sin. It was the type of sin being taken away. Yes, Jesus Christ did this.
“This alone shows the scapegoat didn’t typify Christ”
No, it shows you guys attack strawmen. Part of forgiveness is also having your sin expiated and taken away from you, not just the penalty paid (dealt). You guys attribute this to Satan.
Jesus fulfills all of the Laws requirements. He was the burnt offering, for example. Was the burnt offering required for forgiveness? No? Oh, so Jesus wasn’t the burnt offering then. Was the fragrant offering required for forgiveness? No shedding of blood. No? So Jesus wasn’t the fragrant offering. Jesus fulfills ALL of the Laws requirements, of which there are many, and is ALL of the sacrifices and offerings, of which the scapegoat is included. You want to attribute one aspect of this to Satan.
Shows the weakness (and blasphemy) of your guys’ position.

    Hold up...
If both goats symbolize Christ, why are two distinct animals required, with one dying for atonement and the other sent into isolation? Additionally, if Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is declared sufficient in Hebrews 10:14, why would an additional role be necessary? There are some inconsistencies in this channel's arguments...
To answer on point that he kept trying to hammer, the requirement for both goats to be without blemish in Leviticus 16 ensures ritual purity in the sacred sanctuary service but does not imply that both represent Christ. The Lord’s goat symbolizes Christ’s sinless sacrifice for atonement (Hebrews 9:28), while the scapegoat, though CEREMONIALLY pure, plays a different role-carrying away sins into the wilderness after atonement is completed. This separation in ROLES emphasizes the distinction between Christ’s redemptive work and the ultimate removal of sin, which the scapegoat signifies. All animals brought before a holy God and a holy temple had to be ceremonially acceptable.
The SDA interpretation that the scapegoat represents Satan is grounded in the distinct functions of the two goats. The Lord’s goat, sacrificed for atonement, prefigures Christ’s death for humanity’s sins (Leviticus 16:15; John 1:29). In contrast, the scapegoat (Azazel) bears responsibility for sin as its originator, symbolized by its banishment into the wilderness (Revelation 20:1-3). The ancient understanding of Azazel as a demonic figure supports this view. This typology aligns with eschatology: Christ’s sacrifice completes atonement, and Satan is held accountable, ensuring the full and final removal of sin (Nahum 1:9; Revelation 20:10).
The scapegoat’s role of bearing sin into the wilderness aligns with Satan’s ultimate judgment, not Christ’s redemptive work (Isaiah 14:12-15). These unresolved tensions from the questions I raised in the beginning, weaken the interpretation of both goats as Christ. The SDA understanding harmonizes the text, maintaining the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice and assigning sin’s ultimate accountability to Satan, consistent with the Bible’s depiction of the cosmic resolution of sin

  • @thenowchurch6419
    @thenowchurch6419 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Why did Keith shoot himself in the foot by saying that to be the scapegoat Christ would have to be burning in Hell forever, since the scapegoat is not killed?
By that same standard the SDA Satan Azazel goat would not ever be destroyed but must live in the outer realm forever in eternal punishment.
The point of the scapegoat is that it is spotless and innocent but still cast out of the community but not for any sin of its own, not whether it is killed or not.

      King James Version
4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Yes they are, sadly. Starting with the man-made Trinity god; rejecting the mark of God's authority in the fourth commandment; rejecting the instruction from Jesus regarding the Gospel in the sanctuary, and particularly the critically important teaching in the annual Day of Atonement; teaching that when you die you're not dead. That's enough to sink the RCC and all "daughter" churches. But there's still a short amount of time to learn and repent. I did, and thank God every day for delivering me. Be blessed.

@@bibletruthministry9464 The passage you just quoted unequivocally and unambiguously tells us that the GOSPEL of belief in Jesus Christ IS the SABBATH-rest. The seventh-day Sabbath was a type (shadow) that met its fulfillment in Jesus Christ as the antitype (reality). The STATEMENT of the law has been replaced with a PERSON who himself in his acts and teachings -- IS the law.
Therefore, belief in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior IS THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY of keeping the Sabbath under the new covenant.
Your argument is mistaken and has always been mistaken. For Jesus broke the LETTER of the law, the STATEMENT of the law, his own law, written with his own finger. Because he had the RIGHT to break it, for he was and is God.
Furthermore, again as God, he had the right to RESTATE it. Or to REINSTATE it. And here's how in his sovereign will he chose to do exactly that: The word "sabbath" means "rest." With that in mind, let's re-read and include verses 1-3, in Hebrews 4:1-13.

Ellen White, the prophetic authority of the SDA church said the following in The Great Controversy, chapter 24: " So when Christ entered the holy of holies to perform the closing work of the atonement, He ceased His ministration in the first apartment. But when the ministration in the first apartment [429] ended, the ministration in the second apartment began. "
She clearly indicates that since His ascension He had been in the First Apartment but that He ended that work in 1844, to enter the Most Holy Place.
In the video Keith denies his prophetess by saying that Christ entered the Most Holy Place at His ascension, though He was doing the work of the Holy Place.

LEAVING THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH MEANS GETTING LOST:
The Bible refers to two Jerusalems. Earthly and spiritual. Jerusalem was largely used to refer to the “inhabitants” of Jerusalem (Isaiah 5:3).
Besides, God used to refer to Jerusalem as His “woman” (wife) and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem or Israel as the seed of the “woman” or His children. They were His sons and daughters.
As the capital of the Jewish nation, Jerusalem was often used to represent, not only to its the inhabitants, but also to the whole Israel as an entity (Isaiah 60, 61, 62, 66, etc).
When Jerusalem was desolated in 586 B.C.E. and the Jews taken to servitude in Babylon, Jerusalem was DIVORCED by her husband, Y.H.W.H. God. It also lost its children to the 70 years' servitude. Thus its “land” began to be referred to as “desolate”, “barren” and “repudiated” (Isaiah 54:1-7).
When captivity ended in 536 B.C.E., Jerusalem was repopulated. However, this restoration did not fulfill the TRUE restoration of Jerusalem, for Jerusalem continued to be in servitude and without HUSBAND.
The apostle Paul under inspiration, applied the prophecy at Isaiah 54:1 to the SPIRITUAL Jerusalem which was instituted on the Pentecost of the year 31 C.E. at Galatians 4:26, 27. This meant that, all along from 586 C.E. up to the day of Pentecost in 31 C.E., God was no husband of Jerusalem; Jerusalem and her children were in BONDAGE due to the consequences of the curses in the Law book (Deuteronomy 28:15-68; 31:24-26). Those curses were broken at Calvary through the death of Jesus (Galatians 3:10-13).
But, the question is: From the inception of Jerusalem to the Day of Pentecost, Jerusalem had no believing child, all were unfaithful? All had been in BONDAGE?
Far from it, the “Jerusalem above”, or the “mother” of all believers included also those who died in faith BEFORE the Cross (Hebrews 9:15; 11:13-16; 13:14). The reason why Isaiah stated that Jerusalem became “barren” and didn't bear children ever since she was repudiated by her husband, God until they were re-united. The MAJORITY were born for BONDAGE.
When “Jerusalem above” replaced earthly Jerusalem, the latter was repudiated to be no more God's wife FOREVER and EVER (Galatians 4:30). Then, persecution caused by Satan the devil STARTED and spiritual Israel (the inhabitants of Jerusalem above on earth) were mercilessly persecuted as FORETOLD (Mathew 10:16-23; 24:9; John 16:1-3; Galatians 4:29). How did the persecution get started?
John, the beloved apostle of Jesus was shown this “Jerusalem above”, God's “woman”, and how it was persecuted at the hands of God's enemies (Revelation 12:1-17).
The apostles had constantly FORETOLD the great apostasy after their death. They even said that it was working in secret during their day (2Thess. 2:7; 2:1-3; 1Corinth 1:10-13; 15:12; 2Tim. 2:16-18; 1John 2:18,19; Revelation 2:6; 2:14-20 ). But the apostles constituted the restraint (Acts 20:29, 30; Rom. 16:17-19; 2John 1:9-11).
When the last apostle disappeared from the face of the earth, the foretold great apostasy flourished all over the world. The Gentiles outnumbered the true believers and conquered spiritual Israel into SPIRITUAL captivity. False doctrines started to be taught in the churches of APOSTATE Christianity including the immortality of the soul, eternal torment, indulgences, the prayer through the dead, the images, the sun worship, etc. Those who stood up for the TRUTH were ruthlessly persecuted. Thus “Jerusalem” and its “temple” SANCTUARY were “TRAMPLED UPON” for 1260 years as FORETOLD at Revelation 11:1-3.
However, in 1844, Jesus CAME. Where and why did He come? He came to the “temple” SANCTUARY to cleanse it and to chase away those who defiled it, the Gentiles or APOSTATE christians. He also came for the INVESTIGATIVE judgment on the “house of God” (Mal. 3:1-3). Just as Jesus came to CLEANSE the earthly temple SANCTUARY in Jerusalem in 31 C.E., and chased those religious leaders who defiled it and judged the nation (Matthew 21; 23), He also came and CLEANSED the heavenly TEMPLE sanctuary in Jerusalem above (Revelation 11:1-3).
Just as a remnant of FLESHLY Jews was delivered from Babylon starting from 536 B.C.E. (Isaiah 10:20-23) AFTER Jerusalem had been trampled upon in Babylon for 70 years, so did Jesus deliver a REMNANT from spiritual Babylon in 1844, when Babylon the Great experienced a spiritual fall (Revelation 14:8). This REMNANT that EMERGED from Babylon the Great or spiritual “wilderness” (Revelation 12:6, 14) came to be later known as the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH (Revelation 10:1-11).
DO NOT BE ACCOMPLICE TO SATANIC APOSTATES!!!

      Nothing.
SDA emerged from the movement of William Miller who was wrong to try and calculate the time of Christ's coming and later admitted he was wrong.
He also never accepted SDA doctrine such as the Sabbath and Investigative Judgement.
So why did Ellen White call him Father Miller and claim that God Himself had covered the mistake of the 1843 chart which caused the Millerites to be wrong and disappointed.
Then for 7 years after 1844 Elllen White proclaimed based on visions that the Door of Salvation was closed to all but the Millerites who believed and remained faithful to Miller's time calculation.
The congregation she was part of therefore did no witnessing for 7 years.
After that period she changed her mind and her story and claimed that she had never said that the Door was shut based on visions from God but just her own mistake.
Then even while preaching that the 2nd Coming was very shortly to happen she and her associates registered the SDA church with the U.S. government.
The SDA is based on mistakes, deceit and money making and definitely NOT the Remnant of God.

Poor Marlon doesn't understand this. When he recommended that there be a conversation over this topic....that would be futile. Because whether consciously or unconsciously, the Adventist will do what they always do... deflect.... play around with terms....avoid the question.

He then showed up to the debate and did what Marlon said no to-instead of cross examine, just monologue and preach for your 15 minutes. Hence why that’s what happened.
Once that happened I realized he wasn’t a serious individual and was only here to pontificate. He did precisely what he was told not to do and then tried playing victim for everyone when I got noticeably frustrated with his tactics. At that point it simply became about having on record what they believe about satans involvement in the atonement since I only had 15 minutes the entire debate to even try and respond to his 30 minutes total of monologue.

THE REASON WHY THERE IS NO TRUTH OUTSIDE THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
In the first century C.E., Jesus true followers, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, maintained and relentlessly asserted that there is ONE and ONLY ONE true church on planet Earth (Eph 4:4-6; Col 1:18; 1 Cor. 1:10-13). Appropriately, God has clearly stated in His divinely inspired Word that “divisions” have never and will never be part of His eternal glorious purpose (Gal. 5:19-21). Hence, Jesus always prayed for unity of faith, fellowship and doctrine (John 17:20-23).
When the Christian Church was still united as one, its headquarters, meaning, its General Conference, were at Jerusalem. That is to say, the true church must have brothers who coordinate local church activities from one center. All decisions affecting local churches stemmed from a delegation of brothers representing fellow believers at Jerusalem and decisions were implemented in local churches (Acts 8:14-15; 15:1-6; 15:22-35).
However, the early true followers of Christ foretold, and kept foretelling, and never let up, that this purity of the good news would not last, meaning, a great “apostasy” was going to occur within the Christian church worldwide. They kept rebuking false doctrines which were threatening to invade the true church (Rom 16:17-18; 2 Pet 2:1-3; 3:1-3, etc).
They never stopped point out that during their day “the mystery of iniquity” was already working in secret ! For example counterfeit christians had started teaching spiritual resurrection (2Tim.2:17-18; 1 Cor 15:12). They were teaching false gospels (Gal. 1:6-9). They had started teaching even other filthy doctrines (1John 4:1-3). But, the Bible says that was just a beginning.
By the time of John, the last apostle’s age, things had become worse (Revel 2:6; 2:12-15). To add insult to injury, there had arisen even disgusting doctrinal lies known as doctrines of “nicolaitans”. That was the “mystery of iniquity” which had started building up in secret and imperceptibly !
If, during the apostles lifetime the mystery had already started, what about today after 20 centuries following the apostles death? Evidently, it must today be at its climax !
Besides, these holy servants of God said that the day would come when the unity would vanish away and a great apostasy be revealed within the Christian Church (2The sal 2:7).
But someone was “restraining” this. Who was that? The Bible says that the apostles presence was “restraining” the great apostasy (Acts 20:29-30; 2 John 1:7-11).
However, since these true apostles would NOT live indefinitely, their earthly life had to end die, now that they have died off, where are we with that prophecy, do we witness any divisions, sects, false doctrinal LIES, or any discordant voices and denominations within Christianity today? Absolutely YES. Sadly, today, the apostles prohecy has come true (Jude 1:17-19)!
During the succeeding centuries after the apostles’ death, the great apostasy arose within the Christian Church and the prophecies came true. The pure, holy and undefiled truth taught by the Apostles was corrupted by counterfeit christians (Jude 1:4). Pagan worship, sun worship, and other impure practices started including SUN day worship, immortality of the soul and the infamous eternal torment doctrine to name just a few! These, and other false doctrines, were followed by persecution of those who stayed loyal to the true teachings of Jesus and his apostles.
However, later on, God started a process to gradually RESTORE his pure worship and original doctrines of the first century. He first called the European Reformers. The Reformers did part of the work but they didn't manage to restore everything (Proverbs 4:18).
Nevertheless, the Protestant churches themselves did not make any progress to pick up from where the Reformers had left off after their death. Instead the Protestants maintained false doctrines and even went further to introduce new ones. They were guilty of the same error made by the APOSTATE Christianity before them.
They had even relegated to the background major doctrines such as the Second Advent! Jesus had commanded anyone who wants to be true to God to be an “adventist”, waiting one (Luke 12:35-36). The Protestants had become worldly people and apostatized !
On the other hand, God had told Daniel in advance that the prophecies in his book were to come to be understood at “the time of the end”. The Bible clearly states that the time of the end would start after 1260 prophetic days. The Bible shows that the 1260 day period finished in 1798 AD. Knowledge of the prophesies was to be understood after 1798 A.D. !!! (Dan 12:4; 12:6-9).
True to what Jesus had prophesied, “at the time of the end,” the signs of the end started to emerge (Mat 24:4-9; Luke 21:7-19; 21:25-28; Mark 13:3-13). These signs began to occur AFTER the great apostasy and persecution. From 1798 onward were in the “time of the end”. History is very clear. Go and research. Earthquakes, solar eclipses, falling of stars, wars including World War One & World War Two, etc, all started about 1798 onward. In addition to that, God had foretold about a group of “Bible researchers” which would be raised at the time of the end to restore God's truth (Revel 12:14-17) !
In His love, God designed to arouse all the world with those signs! At that time, a group of Bible researchers started to study their Bibles very earnestly in order to know the truth about what was taking place. God SLOWLY but SURELY led them to realize that they were already in “the time of the end” and that, as promised in the Bible, JUDGMENT had started in “God’s household” after the year 1798, namely in 1844 (1 Pet 4:17; Malachi 3:1-5; Dan 7:9-14; 8:11-14). They were also led to realize that many teachings in the numerous and confusing sects and groups of their day had originated from the GREAT APOSTASY !
At last, the Apostles truth was restored. From that time on the work of the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH had started, namely that of sounding the last warning to the “end time” generation (Revel 14:6-12).
Mind you, the Bible says JUDGMENT would start with God’s household, His true church before extending to those outside. The Bible also clearly teaches that both “believers” and “unbelievers” are to be judged (2 Cor 5:10).
Additionally, the Bible is very clear that when Jesus returns, the righteous dead and those alive will be “caught up” in the air to meet Christ in the clouds. When will they have been judged ?
The Bible is very clear on this point as well. It answers that question beyond any reasonable doubt! Believers are judged BEFORE Jesus comes back (Matt 22:1-14; Malachi 3:1-5). This is known as the pre-Advent Judgment or Investigative Judgment. Besides, there is a testing, a shaking or sifting that is going on in the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST church (Revel. 3:16) ! The chaff is being shaken out !
Oh Lord, how compelling and undeniable this TRUTH is ! This truth is but INVINCIBLE ! What other Church on earth is teaching it? None at all ! Only the Seventh-day Adventist Church is !!!
APOSTATES, who have left the church are part of this sifting. They are spreading false poisonous lies and joining forces with the Devil and his demons in trying to smear God's truth by resorting to PROPAGANDA, misinformation, DISINFORMATION, spreading rumours and OUTRIGHT LIES, character assassination, hate campaign, and the like ! the Devil has enslaved many indeed (John 8:40-44). They are clearly serving their father the Devil and are carrying out whatever he bids them to do!!!
Prophecy has been fulfilled on some like Judas Iscariot. It was prophesied that “at the time of the end” (from 1798 onwards), some would depart from among us and take the path of Cain, who was of the Devil ( Juda 1:11; 1:17-19). It is no wonder then that accusers are after us !
Since time immemorial, whenever God raised up His servants to preach the TRUTH, Satan raised up his apostates to oppose the work and sow confusion (Exodus 7:8-11; Acts 13:8; 2 Timothy 3:6-8; Acts 19:1-19). No wonder, then that impostors and PATHETIC propagators of apostate disgusting LIES are confusing people today by spreading demonic nauseating lies !
As a warning to THOSE REBELLING AGAINST THE CREATOR, they should come back to their senses and repent from their insanity! They ought to stop collaborating with Satan and his demons, the chief apostates ! Some keep spreading satanic poisonous lies! I HEARTILY CALL TO THOSE WHO ARE REBELLIOUS TO THE TRUTH TO COME BACK TO THE CREATOR OF HEAVENS AND EARTH. Based on the Bible, THEY are in danger (2 Peter 3:15-16).
Whether YOU want it or not, based on the Bible, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is God's ONLY TRUE CHURCH on earth!
The SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH teaches the truth more than any other church. Hence the church is under fierce attack by the Devil and his demons more fiercely than you could ever imagine! That is a very significant statement. Because, remember that Revelation 12:17 says “the dragon [Satan the Devil] was enraged with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed”.
Fittingly, whatever Church God would call people to be a part of in the “time of the end” (that is, from 1798 on), you MUST expect that Satan and his demons, the arch-enemies of God and of God’ s servants, would be fiercely attacking it using desperate apostates !
    1 John 4:1-3; 2 Peter 2:1-3; 2 Timothy 3:7; 3:13; 4:3-4
    I AM LUCKY TO BE A SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST ( Psalms 119:139) !

God's Sabbath and Israel's Sabbath are different.
In Genesis Chapter 1 verse 1 - 2 we read, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and covered with darkness while a mighty wind swept over the waters.
Day 1. Then God created light and he separated light from darkness.
Day 2. God created a dome that separated the waters below and above.
Day 3. God made the dry land appeared. He called the dry land earth and the water the sea. He created the vegetation.
Day 4. He created light to separate day and night. He created fixed times, seasons, days and years. He made two great lights to rule the day and the night (sun and moon?).
Day 5. Then God created sea creatures, birds
Day 6. God created animals, beasts and man.
Notice that God's day 1, day 2, day 3 were not depended upon the sunlight or the shadow of the earth that caused our day and night. This is to say, God's day and night are not the same as our day and night which is a 24 hours cycle.
In the 10 commandments, God commanded the nation of Israel to keep the Sabbath rest just as he had rested on the 7th day after the completion of his creation.
Thus, Israel's Sabbath is just a foreshadow of God's Sabbath. It is just a copy.
Now, if we try to keep Israel's Sabbath then it should be from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. However, if we are on Norway, or at the North pole, how will we observe the lengthy Sabbath day during April to August where the sun shines for about half a year?
Also, if we claim to observe Israel's Sabbath, then people all over the world especially the so called Sabbath keepers like the Seventh Day Adventists should keep the Sabbath exactly at the same time the Jews in Israel keep their Sabbath. But this will violate the principle of sunset to sunset in other parts of the world, like Norway. Therefore, it is not possible to keep Israel's Sabbath.
So far we have seen that Israel's Sabbath and God's Sabbath are different. We have also seen that we can't keep Israel's Sabbath too.
But then Christians are the new Israel and Jesus did not come to do away with the law but to fulfill it. So what about the new Sabbath?
Jesus said, come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. What does this rest mean? Is it the same thing as Paul talked about entering God's in Hebrews 4 : 1 - 11? Paul said Israel did not enter into God's rest when they entered into the land of Canaan. That is why Paul further said God spoke of another day to enter into God's rest. Paul then exhorted the Hebrews to enter into that rest the day they hear God's voice without hardening their heart. From this passage, we see that God's rest, or God's Sabbath is not about 7 day cycle but about finding our salvation in Jesus Christ.
In the gospel, Jesus said that his Father is always working and likewise he was doing the same. This raises a question of how could God work always but still have his rest on the 7th day? The only logical explanation is that God rested from creating new things but he did not rest from sustaining the things he created already.
Thus, every day (24 hours day of our day) is a Sabbath day for God till he the day he creates the new heaven and the new earth.
And since we are to keep the new Sabbath, or God's Sabbath, of which Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, everyday should be a Sabbath day for us. We have found our rest in Jesus Christ. We don't have to roam restlessly to find rest in Judaism, Islam or Hinduism or Budhism.... We should observe this Sabbath rest till we receive our glorified body in heaven.

Here is THE REASON WHY THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST IS THE ONLY TRUE REMNANT CHURCH GOD IS USING TODAY:

Yet you guys are going to supposedly take a stand and die for the 7th day sabbath one day? You guys have a persecution complex. No one is persecuting you. You might be the least persecuted group of people on the earth. Chinese Christian’s (who you would call APOSTATES) are tortured for the Lord Jesus right now. Nigerian brothers and sisters tortured by terrorists for the Lord Jesus. Indian Christian’s persecuted by radical Hinduism for fidelity to Jesus. They aren’t Adventists.
You spit on the faith of these brothers and sisters and say they don’t have the truth because they aren’t in your small, fringe, modern movement. Shame on you.

It no wonder that you deny the plain TRUTH as taught by God's ONLY TRUE remnant Church. For, you are not the first who has done that. Jeroboam I did that (1Kings 13:1-10; 14:1-20). The Jewish religious leaders did the same (John 9:40-43; 11:45-54; Acts 4:1-27). Etc.

Since long ago, God has been using the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY to RESTORE his truth. In Daniel 8:10-12, it had been FORETOLD that “the truth” and God's people would be trampled down. But, the angel quickly added also that the TRUTH and God's church was to be RESTORED (Daniel 8:14) and that restoration was to be in the “TIME OF THE END” (Daniel 8:17; 12:4). The time of the end is AFTER the 1260 prophetic days, that is, from 1798 onward.
After the trampling of SPIRITUAL Israel, the sanctuary has been RESTORED since 1844, when the REMNANT of spiritual Israel, the Seventh-day Adventists came out of Babylon the Great (Revelation 14:8). Babylon took a tumble then!
In ancient times, God used the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY to take his people out of Egypt (Hosea 12:13). Similarly, in 536 B.C.E., God used the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY to take the REMNANT of FLESHLY Israel out of Babylon (Ezra 5:1-2).
When the Jewish nation became Babylon, God used the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY on the day of Pentecost to take them out of Babylon (Acts 2:1-4, 16-41).
In the TIME OF THE END (our day), God has used the SAME SPIRIT OF PROPHECY to take his REMNANT of spiritual Israelites (SDA) out of the harlot, Babylon the Great (Catholicism + APOSTATE Protestantism).
So, dude, nothing new about your SLURS and innuendos against the TRUTH. Those were the same accusations hurled against John the Baptist (Luke 7:33) and Jesus (John 7:20)!
Reason why, it has been FORETOLD that in the last days, our opposers would repeat the same false accusations and MISREPRESENTATIONS against us (John 15:20; Ecclesiastes 1:9-10).

Even in the very mis-translated KJV you can see that the translators screwed up (BTW I do not use the KJV) Hebrews 9: 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. The KJV is saying that Jesus entered the Most Holy Place because...none of the High Priests entered the Holy Place with blood, it would be a direct violation of what God commanded of them! The KJV is one of the most used for cults and false teachers because it's easier to manipulate what you want it to say.
This is how the SDA's came up with their false teaching that Christ entered into the Most Holy Place in 1844, it was nothing more than a coverup of their false teachings that Christ was coming back and He didn't. BTW to EVER SET A DATE - is to call Jesus a LIAR. Jesus clearly stated that no one, that includes EGW and all the other date setters, even the Angels in Heaven do not know the day or the hour. So this question remains to all SDA's, you say that your organization did not start with the date settings, but then why does your organization hold onto the teaching that Christ entered the Most Holy Place in 1844, this teaching is a direct result of their falsified date setting, so yes your organization was a part of that, otherwise you have to throw out the Investigative judgment!

the day of atonement is completely different than the daily sacrifice in which the blood of the animal (pointing to Christ) cleansed the sinner from unrighteousness. Note that after this blood was shed (representing Jesus at the cross), the priests still did daily work...their work was not finished. And Jesus is also the High Priest. The blood was sprinkled daily on the veil, so the record of the forgiven sin was within the sanctuary until the day of atonement with the sanctuary was cleansed of this record.
The scapegoat is not shown to be used in cleaning the sinner of sin, but to carry the record of all sin into the wilderness never to return. Jesus cannot be the scape goat because the scape goat does not shed blood and never returns (because sin does not rise a second time). Jesus indeed shed blood for the remission of sin and does in fact return...Praise God!

Why do people when they get in a debate always seem to attack the character of the person or the church. They always they claim. They say this. They say that. What about saying what God says about this teaching? What about what the Word of God says about this teaching? You see the real problem here is not to explain what they Bible really teaches it is to attack and discredit the other person or their denomination. Just listen closely. It always seems to go what they teach. The question is does what Adventist teach do along with scripture. If it doesn't then prove it from the scriptures. Prove it beyond a shadow of doubt. This is why many Adventist don't debate. They don't debate because it turns into what the Adventist believe, the Adventist teach, the Adventist preach and what they Adventist say not what the scripture actually says. It turns into a character assassination. It turns into my brain is bigger than your brain. When in reality we all have small brains and should come together and study to see what is really true. Instead we look at the other person as an enemy. We also have hate for that enemy although Jesus says love God, Neighbor and Enemy. Both parties are in endanger of misrepresenting what the gospel of Jesus is all about when they trying to see who has the biggest brain. The Bible says the following John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

I used to attend Sunday church up until a year ago (43yrs). Im attending an SDA church now and absolutely love it. I’ve learnt more in the SDA church in the short time I’ve been there, than I did when I was in the Sunday church. In the Sunday churches I attended, most were more about healings and blessings (prosperity), speaking in tongues and praying the sinners prayer. I’ve never really heard preaching on prophecy, end time events in revelations etc, it was always God loves you, you are blessed, God wants you blessed and not poor, once saved always saved. While these things are nice, yes God loves you and wants to save you, but you still need to pick up your cross and follow Christ. I love how the SDA church really digs into Biblical truth and points to Christ! God bless all…😊

Sounds like you were in a pentecostal church, who's practices are not found anywhere in historical Christianity until 1900. That is not the church Christ set up.
Look into Eastern Orthodox if you want the Christianity that Christ wanted us to follow, the true historical church. Don't be dismayed that it looks like Catholicism from the outside, look into church history and the schism of 1054. We were the first Christians to criticize the Pope trying to claim universal jurisdiction over the entire church. They've changed so much of their practice and theology we are definitely not the same. And most importantly, in Orthodox, there is a rich library of lives of saints that are "scripture lived out". Truly, if you read the lives of saints, like St Paisios, St Porphyrios, St Anthony the Great, St Mary of Egypt, St Xenia, St Martina, the list goes on but I'm just offering some starting points, I'm sure you will see Christ's light shining through them. God bless.

However, if we are in Norway, or at the North pole, how will we observe the lengthy Sabbath day during April to August where the sun shines for about half a year?
Is it the same thing as Paul talked about entering God's rest in Hebrews 4 : 1 - 11?
We should observe this Sabbath rest till the day we receive our glorified body in heaven.

SDAs follow a different gospel, they nullify Jesus and his work of redemption as the scriptures say had the first covenant with all the laws including the Ten Commandments been sufficient there would have been no need for the new covenant to replace it with better promises. Hebrews 8:7,
Hebrews 9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
Hebrews 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Hebrews 9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
Hebrews 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Hebrews 9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
Hebrews 9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Hebrews 9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Hebrews 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
      Hebrews 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
As stated above Jesus put away sin by the sacrifice of himself, we cannot do this on our own by keeping the 10 commandments.
It is also spiritual adultery to try to follow the old covenant when professing Jesus.
Romans 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Romans 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

I forgot to add. In the Bible the book of John chapter 14 Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments. So what are the commandments that Jesus is talking about? The only commandments that I can think of, throughout the whole Bible New and Old Testaments are the "10 Commandments". God himself with his own finger wrote the "10 Commandments" on 2 stone tablets. In other words they are never to be broken. All of the 10 commandments were ment for all of mankind. Not just for the Jewish people but every single human on the face of the Earth, Past, Present and Future. The "10 Commandments" are the moral laws that human kind need to follow in order to have everlasting life and when Jesus died, the handwritings of ordinances were Nail to the cross and those are for the Jewish people (The physical Israelites), they were to follow them. And those are considered the sacrificial laws not the Moral Laws, Not the Health laws, Not the Civil laws, but the Sacrificial laws. The handwriting of ordinances are the sacrificial laws.
The reason why the handwriting of ordinances are the sacrificial Laws. These are a foreshadowing of things to come and once Jesus died on the cross he was the sacrifice for all of humanity. But the 10 commandments are considered the moral laws that are never to be broken by any human being who want to have everlasting life. And the reason why Jesus said I will write my commandments on your heart is so that we will have a desire to follow the moral laws because they are about what is right (not sinning), not committing a sin. Even though Jesus took our sins and took on the Burden of every human being. Does that mean we can go back to sinning and doing whatever we want?
Wouldn't that be considered lawlessness? We still need to repent every single day because we are not guaranteed to have everlasting life unless we Repent every single day. What about the time when the prostitute was at The temple and all of the pharisees wanted to stone her. And who is the only one who had the authority to stone that woman? What did Jesus tell the woman at the temple? Jesus said to the woman "is there anybody who has the authority to stone You" and the woman said there is nobody here who has the authority but you Jesus? And then what did Jesus say to the woman? He told the woman you're Sins are forgiven, go and sin no more. Jesus never said to the woman, your sins are forgiven, keep on singing and commit lawlessness. "No", he said go and sin no more. So anybody who believes in the saying "Once Saved, Always Saved. "NO".
He said once saved you are forgiven go and sin no more. Jesus needs to be number one in our life and if we make him our Lord and savior he will live inside of us and help us too keep those moral laws and give us the desire to follow them and not transgress against the law. God's law. We also want to put the full armor of God on every single day because we are battling the spiritual forces of the adversary satan the devil and his demons we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against the spiritual powers of the unseen. So going back to the 10 commandments because those are considered the moral laws that includes the first 4 commandments because if we go against the first 4 commandments. We are sinning agenst our creator, our God who created us, he created the heavens and the Earth, He gave us the breath of life, He deserves our obedience and if we obey our Heavenly father, he will bless us with everlasting life. So that includes the fourth commandment that is the sabbath day. The 7th day of the week, Not The 1st day of the week, which is Sunday. And if you think that the Sabbath is Sunday and not Saturday then you will be deceived because God's day, Gods sign, God's mark of authority is the 7th day Saturday sabbath.
The fourth Commandment which is Saturday. The reason why I am saying this Repeatedly. Is because the Roman Catholic church change the day from Saturday sabbath to Sunday sabbath. Also Jesus warned us about taking the mark of the beast. Jesus said let no man deceive you and by taking the mark of the beast (will be Sunday worship) which will be enforced and will be wrote into the Laws for the whole world to obey and the Pope is the Vicar of the Son of God. So he, meaning (The Pope) is claiming that he is Jesus Christ On Earth and the Pope takes it upon himself that he has the authority to go above Gods laws and change it. And also the Pope gives himself and the priests of the Roman Catholic church the authority to forgive sins and those 2 things that the Pope is doing is considered Blasphomy. And anybody who commits Blasphomy will be stoned to Death. The Pharisees in the Bible wanted to stone Jesus because he Claim to be God and committed blasphomy And that's why the pharisees wanted to crucify Jesus. So the pharisees asked Ponchus Pilot to crucify Jesus because under Jewish law they cannot crucify. But under the Roman law they can crucify under their law.

The scapegoat cannot represent Jesus because In contrast to the Lord's goat, the scapegoat was NEVER slain and it's blood wasn't carried into the most holy place to cleanse the sanctuary. The bible says that there can be no remission of sins without the shedding of blood according to Hebrews 9:22
Keep in mind that the sins that were transferred by the priest from sanctuary to the scapegoat were "already forgiven sins" of the truly penitent and so, the role of the scapegoat was limited strictly to the extermination of sin and in no way touches upon forgiveness. It's eventual death was in no way sacrificial or substitutionary. It's through atonement that God is reconciled with His people & completely eradicates sin from the universe.
Having said that, you don't have to necessarily agree with the interpretation. My only point is that it's a viable interpretation and not at all unorthodox. All the hostility against this interpretation are based on misrepresentations of the actual teaching.

The identification and eschatological meaning of the scapegoat of Leviticus 16 has generated much discussion in academic circles. Within ancient Jewish tradition, the scapegoat was always seen as a demonic being. But since the postapostolic period, many Christian expositors have tried to identify it with Christ and His sacrificial death. Seventh-day Adventists have stressed a clear distinction between the goats of Leviticus 16:8, considering the one “for the Lord” as a type of Christ, and the one “for the scapegoat [Heb. Azazel]” as representing Satan. The Great Controversy Between Christ and Satan (chap. 18, “The Sanctuary”) by Ellen G. White explains in the following words: "It was seen, also, that while the sin-offering pointed to Christ as a sacrifice, and the high priest represented Christ as a mediator, the scape-goat typified Satan, the author of sin, upon whom the sins of the truly penitent will finally be placed. When the high priest, by virtue of the blood of the sin-offering, removed the sins from the sanctuary, he placed them upon the scape-goat. When Christ, by virtue of his own blood, removes the sins of his people from the heavenly sanctuary at the close of his ministration, he will place them upon Satan, who, in the execution of the judgment, must bear the final penalty. The scapegoat was sent away into a land not inhabited, never to come again into the congregation of Israel. So will Satan be forever banished from the presence of God and his people, and he will be blotted from existence in the final destruction of sin and sinners."

@tomatogeek1614 The text does not say satan is partially responsible for salvation. I do not see where you would get that from in Lev 16 or from the above quote. It clearly states that the sins are placed on its head and it is sent away never to return. Isn't this what will happen in Rev 20 when Satan is bound 1000 years in the wilderness as the cause of all of the sin mess we are in? And he will be destroyed after the 1000 years with all of the wicked angels and people...neither he nor the wicked no any sin will never return.
Jesus, in contrast, will most definitely return...in the Clouds of glory.

      Hebrews 4

I’m trying to understand this. So Adventist doctrine is that what Jesus fulfilled was the ceremonial law. Was the scapegoat part of the ceremonial law? Yes. That doctrine says Satan will be the scapegoat at the end. That means that the ceremonial law wasn’t completely fulfilled. Jesus didn’t completely fulfill it in that case. Jesus will fulfill it through Satan eventually. How does that make sense? What is obsolete then? If it isn’t the whole law, just the ceremonial part, but even that one according to that doctrine isn’t completely fulfilled at the moment. That makes no sense.

There’s TWO goats! The one who was offered as a sacrifice represent Christ and the scapegoat.
And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. Leviticus 16:8
The Lords Goat is shown in these 2 verses:
And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. Leviticus 16:9
Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: Leviticus 16:15
And Satan’s goat is shown here:
      Leviticus 16:20-22 KJV
[20] And when he hath made an end of reconciling e the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat: [21] And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: [22] And the goat shall f bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not g inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness. …
Now the event takes place, fore- shadowed in the last solemn service of the Day of Atonement. When the min- istration in the holy of holies had been completed, and the sins of Israel had been removed from the sanctuary by virtue of the blood of the sin offering, then the scapegoat was presented alive before the Lord; and in presence of the · congregation the high priest confessed over him "all the iniquities of the chil- dren of Israel, and all their transgres- sions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat." Leviticus 16:21. In like manner, when the work of atonement in the heavenly sanc- tuary has been completed, then in the presence of God and heavenly angels, and the host of the redeemed, the sins of God's people will be placed upon Satan; he will be declared guilty of all the evil which he has caused them to commit. And as the scapegoat was sent away into a land not inhabited, so Satan will be banished to the deso- late earth, an uninhabited and dreary wilderness.

People use youtube to dish out others claiming that they are doing God's work when they are actually not. Christ was a Peacemaker. They just have a craving for controversy, and quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, and evil suspicions, just like Paul states in 1 Timothee 6: 3. We're called to "pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness". 1 Timothee 6: 11 All this is to me people just boasting about their knowledge and making it a public spectacle by blasting someone else because they know the crowd or viewers love that kind of stuff that causes friction among us. The enemy is the ONLY one gaining from this. When are we going to learn to live at peace with ALL men? At the end of the day: "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Let's spend our time praying for one another and not disputing and debating,

@@choucoune542 I understand your concern. I have not seen this whole debate so I can't judge how people handled themselves here. But I don't think you should assume there intent. If someone teaches something else then the true Gospel we should expose that in love. I also don't agree we should not use internet to expose false teaching. But we should do it in a proper manner. Also If you spread the gospel, the truth, disputes will come.
But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you.”Jude 1:9 ESV
      Who is disputing here?
And he spoke and disputed against the Hellenists. But they were seeking to kill him.
      Acts 9:29 ESV
      Who is disputing here?
And they took him and killed him and threw him out of the vineyard. And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”
      Mark 12:8‭, ‬28 ESV
      Who is disputing here?
The scripture is pretty clear the right doctrine is important. It also warns us for false teachers and doctrine. The Devil attacks truth. Love rejoices in truth (1 cor 13:6) So sometimes it's more loving to tell people the truth and break down those lies.
Godbless, and please don't be to hard on the brother's who take on the tough job by confronting the lies of the devil.

Why did Jesus say, "It is finished?" Jesus’ life and death completed many prophecies, which we find throughout the Old Testament. The work finished on the cross was the judgment and punishment of sin necessary for our redemption. Because of our sin, a price needed to be paid to satisfy the judgment sin requires. When Jesus was on the cross, God placed on him the sins of the world, and by doing that, it fulfilled the requirement of judgment. We are reminded of this in Isaiah 53:5-6, where we know that all of our iniquity was laid on Jesus, and he became the once and for all sacrifice needed to meet the demand of God’s justice. Sorry SDA, the Bible once again proves your thinking wrong.

Myles is fixed on lev 16:5. Verse 3 states Arron must take 2 animals for a sacrifice but later in verse 6 only the bull is offered as a sin offering. Thus e we see the same thing in verse 5. 2 goats but only 1 sacrificed.
Furthermore the word scapegoat also means “dubious” which means hesitant/doubtful. James 1:6 and other scripture states that those that doubt are faithless. (Read John 20:24-31) doubting Thomas was called faithless by Jesus for doubting.
This means IF the scapegoat is Christ, we are associating faithlessness and doubt to Christ.
Myles also hit a stump without realizing it. He says we have to pay for our sins. The lost will have to pay for our sins. The Bible ALSO says we are guilty IF WE CAUSE OTHERS TO SIN. Sin Satan is the root of sin, ALL OTHER SIN is a result of Satan and his influence. This means Satan will have to pay the price for causing sin to enter the world. Just as scripture says.

This guy said that Jesus is both goats. Leviticus 16:8 (34:00 - 34:60)
And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat. One goat dies for all the sins and the other goat bears all the sins. The one that bears all the sins is eventually held responsible for all the sins. For example, Cain was the one who followed God but was murdered, but Cain didn't follow God and was held responsible for the murder. Now let look at what happens to Cain.
    Genesis 4:11-14
    King James Version
    11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13 And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
    Other examples:
Lucifer send driven out of heaven.
Adam and Eve sinned driven out of Eden
Israel sinned driven out of the Jerusalem
    Leviticus 16:7-11
    King James Version
7 And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
9 And Aaron shall bring the GOAT upon which the Lord's lot fell, and offer him for a SIN OFFERING.
10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a SCAPEGOAT INTO THE WILDERNESS.
11 And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:
One goat is a sin offering AND IS KILLED.
The other goat is set free into the wilderness.
The scapegoat bear the blame for sin and he was driven out or cast out.
SCA'PE-GOAT, noun [escape and goat.] In the Jewish ritual, a goat which was brought to the door of the tabernacle, where the high priest laid his hands upon him, confessing the sins of the people, and putting them on the head of the goat; after which the goat was sent into the wilderness, BEARING THE INIQUITIES of the people. Leviticus 16:10.

Myles made a huge deal about the two goats being "sin offerings" according to verse 5. However a few verses later we read that lots were cast for the goats, and only ONE of them was then the "sin offering." We read:
Leviticus 16:8-10 NKJV - “Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the scapegoat. “And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the LORD’s lot fell, and offer👉 IT 👈as a 👉SIN OFFERING.👈 “BUT the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented ALIVE before the LORD, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.
Though initially both were sin offerings, yet only one of them remained that way.

False. Keith tried saying this. It says nothing about the exclusion of the other or that they started out that way and then one no longer remained a sin offering.
The casting of lots had nothing to do with determining which one would be a sin offering. It had to do with letting God decide which one would be sacrificed and which would expiate. The sin offering wasn’t complete upon sacrificing of the first goat. Neither was atonement.

That can’t be any clearer. One was slain, the other was ALIVE sent into the wilderness… Sin offerings were to be SLAIN which means killed. If the Bible says the scapegoat was ALIVE and remained that way, it was NEVER OFFERED. If never offered as a sin offering, then that can’t be Jesus, because He was SLAIN for the sins of the world. Whatever our arguments we must be sure that Christ death calls for repentance to stop sinning-- breaking His 10 commandments for sin is transgressions of the Law. If you set aside the Law then you will know no sin. Hence, you dont need a Saviour. Now Sabbath is the 4th commandment wherein people will know whose God to worship . It is the only commandment that help us to know whose the real God from the adversary that wanted also to be worshipped, Satan. Dont claim you are a christian while bearing a defiled conscience
Titus 1:15. Mind and conscience may be defiled.
Titus 1:16. A hypocrite has a defiled conscience.
Titus 1:15. Nothing pure to a defiled conscience.
Titus 1:16, margin. One with defiled conscience is an unsafe counselor.
Titus 1:13. Sound in faith, a safeguard against defiled conscience.

Matthew 23:23, 24. They often "strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel."

This REMNANT that EMERGED from Babylon the Great or spiritual “wilderness” (Revelation 12:6, 14) came to be later known as the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH (Revelation 10:1-11).

question: in the OT when the lamb was slain in the courtyard, why did the priest continue his duties all year if there was nothing else to do? Why was there even a day of atonement? Myles has never answered this. If Paul says in Hebrews 8 that there is a heavenly sancturary of which the earthly was a type, can we not make the logical conclusion that the earthly priestly duties point to Jesus' ministry in heaven?

If someone wants to know first hand what SDAs believe about the scapegoat ant the work of atonement, here it is from the book Patriarchs and Prophets by Ellen White.
    "Once a year, on the great Day of Atonement, the priest entered the most holy place for the cleansing of the sanctuary. The work there performed completed the yearly round of ministration. - {PP 355.2}
    On the Day of Atonement two kids of the goats were brought to the door of the tabernacle, and lots were cast upon them, “one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat.” The goat upon which the first lot fell was to be slain as a sin offering for the people. And the priest was to bring his blood within the veil, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat. “And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgression in all their sins; and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.” - {PP 355.3}
    “And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: and the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities into a land not inhabited.” Not until the goat had been thus sent away did the people regard themselves as freed from the burden of their sins. Every man was to afflict his soul while the work of atonement was going forward. All business was laid aside, and the whole congregation of Israel spent the day in solemn humiliation before God, with prayer, fasting, and deep searching of heart. - {PP 355.4}
    Important truths concerning the atonement were taught the people by this yearly service. In the sin offerings presented during the year, a substitute had been accepted in the sinner’s stead; but the blood of the victim had not made full atonement for the sin. It had only provided a means by which the sin was transferred to the sanctuary. By the offering of blood, the sinner acknowledged the authority of the law, confessed the guilt of his transgression, and expressed his faith in Him who was to take away the sin of the world; but he was not entirely released from the condemnation of the law. On the Day of Atonement the high priest, having taken an offering for the congregation, went into the most holy place with the blood and sprinkled it upon the mercy seat, above the tables of the law. Thus the claims of the law, which demanded the life of the sinner, were satisfied. Then in his character of mediator the priest took the sins upon himself, and, leaving the sanctuary, he bore with him the burden of Israel’s guilt. At the door of the tabernacle he laid his hands upon the head of the scapegoat and confessed over him “all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat.” And as the goat bearing these sins was sent away, they were, with him, regarded as forever separated from the people. Such was the service performed “unto the example and shadow of heavenly things.” Hebrews 8:5. - {PP 355.5}
    As has been stated, the earthly sanctuary was built by Moses according to the pattern shown him in the mount. It was “a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices;” its two holy places were “patterns of things in the heavens;” Christ, our great High Priest, is “a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.” Hebrews 9:9, 23; 8:2. As in vision the apostle John was granted a view of the temple of God in heaven, he beheld there “seven lamps of fire burning before the throne.” He saw an angel “having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.” Revelation 4:5; 8:3. Here the prophet was permitted to behold the first apartment of the sanctuary in heaven; and he saw there the “seven lamps of fire” and the “golden altar” represented by the golden candlestick and the altar of incense in the sanctuary on earth. Again, “the temple of God was opened” (Revelation 11:19), and he looked within the inner veil, upon the holy of holies. Here he beheld “the ark of His testament” (Revelation 11:19), represented by the sacred chest constructed by Moses to contain the law of God. - {PP 356.1}
    Moses made the earthly sanctuary, “according to the fashion that he had seen.” Paul declares that “the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry,” when completed, were “the patterns of things in the heavens.” Acts 7:44; Hebrews 9:21, 23. And John says that he saw the sanctuary in heaven. That sanctuary, in which Jesus ministers in our behalf, is the great original, of which the sanctuary built by Moses was a copy. - {PP 357.1}
    The heavenly temple, the abiding place of the King of kings, where “thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him” (Daniel 7:10), that temple filled with the glory of the eternal throne, where seraphim, its shining guardians, veil their faces in adoration-no earthly structure could represent its vastness and its glory. Yet important truths concerning the heavenly sanctuary and the great work there carried forward for man’s redemption were to be taught by the earthly sanctuary and its services. - {PP 357.2}
    After His ascension, our Saviour was to begin His work as our High Priest. Says Paul, “Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.” Hebrews 9:24. As Christ’s ministration was to consist of two great divisions, each occupying a period of time and having a distinctive place in the heavenly sanctuary, so the typical ministration consisted of two divisions, the daily and the yearly service, and to each a department of the tabernacle was devoted. - {PP 357.3}
    As Christ at His ascension appeared in the presence of God to plead His blood in behalf of penitent believers, so the priest in the daily ministration sprinkled the blood of the sacrifice in the holy place in the sinner’s behalf. - {PP 357.4}
    The blood of Christ, while it was to release the repentant sinner from the condemnation of the law, was not to cancel the sin; it would stand on record in the sanctuary until the final atonement; so in the type the blood of the sin offering removed the sin from the penitent, but it rested in the sanctuary until the Day of Atonement. - {PP 357.5}
    In the great day of final award, the dead are to be “judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:12. Then by virtue of the atoning blood of Christ, the sins of all the truly penitent will be blotted from the books of heaven. Thus the sanctuary will be freed, or cleansed, from the record of sin. In the type, this great work of atonement, or blotting out of sins, was represented by the services of the Day of Atonement-the cleansing of the earthly sanctuary, which was accomplished by the removal, by virtue of the blood of the sin offering, of the sins by which it had been polluted. - {PP 357.6}
    As in the final atonement the sins of the truly penitent are to be blotted from the records of heaven, no more to be remembered or come into mind, so in the type they were borne away into the wilderness, forever separated from the congregation. - {PP 358.1}
    Since Satan is the originator of sin, the direct instigator of all the sins that caused the death of the Son of God, justice demands that Satan shall suffer the final punishment. Christ’s work for the redemption of men and the purification of the universe from sin will be closed by the removal of sin from the heavenly sanctuary and the placing of these sins upon Satan, who will bear the final penalty. So in the typical service, the yearly round of ministration closed with the purification of the sanctuary, and the confessing of the sins on the head of the scapegoat. - {PP 358.2}
Thus in the ministration of the tabernacle, and of the temple that afterward took its place, the people were taught each day the great truths relative to Christ’s death and ministration, and once each year their minds were carried forward to the closing events of the great controversy between Christ and Satan, the final purification of the universe from sin and sinners. - {PP 358.3}"

Myles is a rude little man with no understanding, because he does not seem to understand that everything that transpired in the new testament, was based on the old testament , so they work as a whole and not in opposition. The new testament does not stand on its own, one can never understand the new testament if the old testament is not understood first!

@@D12Min You should not generalize to a whole group of people when you do not know each one individually. There will be varying experiences in all religious walks: some will be earnest, living up to all the light they see; others will be hypocrites; others will be struggling with weaknesses.
The law is the schoolmaster that leads to Christ, only if its spirituality is seen. There was a time when Paul, as Saul the Pharisee, thought that he was perfectly in harmony with the law. Philippians 3:6. But he wrote of this experience, "I was alive without the law once." Romans 7:9. Yet he was taught the law, even from his youth.
So evidently, there is an outward knowledge of the requirements of the law, which is not a real knowledge of its spiritual nature. But then Paul wrote, "but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died." (vs 9). When the Spirit opened his eyes to see how he was actually breaking the law that he professed to be obeying, then he saw himself as convicted. This was an inner conviction.
Jesus showed some of this spiritual nature of the law when he stated,
      Matthew 5
21 You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca [vain, empty, worthless], shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
So "you shall not kill," goes a lot deeper into the heart than most people assume.
When a man sees himself as inwardly corrupt, through the ministry of the Law, he despairs of doing anything to make himself right before God. He loses confidence in any attempts he could make to be righteous. Then he is ready to accept Christ as the one who offers His righteousness, His life, in place of the old life within the heart. A heart transplant takes place: the stony heart is removed, and the new heart is created. Ezekiel 36:26. What is the purpose of this new creation?
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them.
The aim is obedience! but not outward, manufactured by human strength. Obedience to God's law that springs from a new heart that is in harmony with the Law, and all its spiritual intent. Such a man will not be "angry with his brother" because there is no anger within him anymore. "The righteousness of the law" is fulfilled in him (Romans 8:4); he "establishes the law" (Romans 3:31) on its true spiritual foundation, by having Christ's righteous life within him, as the source of his spiritual strength.
This is why the role of the schoolmaster ceases. Because the man now has righteousness within him, and there is nothing for the law to condemn anymore. The law witnesses that this is real righteousness, the kind that it requires. Romans 3:21.
To be "under the law" means to be under its condemnation. The whole world is "under the law" because they are all born as sinners, and go on to commit sin. Therefore, the whole world is "guilty before God." Romans 3:19.
The "works of the law" that Paul refers to in Romans and Galatians are not real obedience. Those works are the attempts of a carnally-minded person to try and do what the law requires. It is the same as the old covenant declaration of the people at Sinai, "all that the Lord has said, we will do and be obedient." (Exodus 24:7). But they could not be obedient, for they were unregenerate! This was quickly revealed at the worship of the golden calf. God's response to their promise was this:
Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
What did they need? A different law? No, a new heart. First they needed to see the spiritual nature of the law, then they needed to come to Christ for healing. And then they would have true obedience, "the obedience of faith." Romans 16:26.
The gospel does not set aside the law. It establishes it within the person. Yes, the "law written on stone" passes away, but only when it is replaced by the "law written on fleshy tables of the heart" in the new spiritual birth. The whole aim of the gospel is to get real obedience to the law established again, among men; just as it was in the beginning when Adam was created righteous.
Romans 1:16 The gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
Matthew 1:21 He shall save His people from their sins.
1 John 3:4 Sin is the transgression of the law.
Therefore, the gospel saves us, not from the Law, but from transgression of the Law.

“In the typical service (Leviticus 16) the high priest, having made the atonement for Israel, came forth and blessed the congregation. So Christ, at the close of His work as mediator, will appear, “without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:28), to bless His waiting people with eternal life. As the priest, in removing the sins from the sanctuary, confessed them upon the head of the scapegoat, so Christ will place all these sins upon Satan, the originator and instigator of sin. The scapegoat, bearing the sins of Israel, was sent away “unto a land not inhabited” (Leviticus 16:22); so Satan, bearing the guilt of all the sins which he has caused God's people to commit, will be for a thousand years confined to the earth, which will then be desolate, without inhabitant, and he will at last suffer the full penalty of sin in the fires that shall destroy all the wicked. Thus the great plan of redemption will reach its accomplishment in the final eradication of sin and the deliverance of all who have been willing to renounce evil.”-Christ In His Sanctuary, pg. 181 (CIHS 181.1)

Paul said to avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
    { Titus 3:9 }
Jesus said, no one is keeping the ten commandments of God, because no one is stoning the lawbreakers.
Jesus said to them under the law of the ten commandments of God. Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law?
For God commanded, saying, he that curses father or mother, let him die the death, but you have made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
    { Matthew 15:3-6 }
The SDA, they are not keeping the ten commandments of God, because no one is stoning the lawbreakers.

Jesus said "vengence belongs to me." Jesus is the one who will deal with sinners, just like he did in the old testament when he was with the Children in the pillar of fire and cloud. Remember when the sabbath breaker was gathering wood? They brought him to the temple before Jesus (in the pillar). Jesus is the one who pronounced the sentence of death. May we honor Christ in all that we do as He shed His own precious blood for our salvation.
