    lyrics..
Descends supine grace of the luminant
Attunes to access light of celestial form
    Open the radiant sea-electric. Seen
Visitant guides and the breath cedes grant release
Hayya ala salah. From the minaret see
Toward solidaric ground. Weeps - walk on sadhak
Salute the sun - invocates the first streamed rays
Append the fire right - grounds on approach. Essene
Grace of the angels guard the sanctum ground
Sentries the eye of the sacred flame
Ablutes the sequence house of being-sheaths
Summit the still point gleams to the realm replete
    Compounds reduce abates ideation's stream
Cognize the clear stream glows at the ground serene
    Pulsates the field outbreath's retention
Become the light - from the eight limbed sojourn freed
Lebanon screen - Damascus road traveler and ground upon a saviour
Eremite breath the cognized avatar - sovereign attainer
Back to ward the flight ground returns to freedomsea
Dweller of the atom systems - projects, reflects, percieves
    And attains to integration
    The immanent transcendent seen
    Time and space fall abandoned
    Rise the stoned belief
Lebanon screen - Damascus road traveler. Rise to flight on steaming skein
    The monastic weeps for Axum
Candescent glow of Atman-Sovereign. Carry on O seeker
Indweller of the particle formed systems mechanics now perceived
    Reveal thy will descender
    The immanent transcendent seen
    Time and space fall abandoned
    Rise the stone belief
Toward the red sun rise ascendant way
From the five fold sheath attains release
Within shines the rising glows effulgent feed
    Non-emergence of the outer world
And back toward Lebanon - priest ascending
Weeps in the fire rite - down sojourn prevails
Salve the light wall claims reformer
    Non-emergence of the outer world

I enjoyed Sleep in my youth but never really heard of Om. Then I heard that they made some amazing Christian spiritual metal and now I'm hooked.
There's not much "heavy" Christian music out there, so this is well appreciated.
My favorite Christian band of all time is a neofolk group called Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus. Check them out if you're interested

To me this means that God is present in all the Physics we are understanding and discovering. I belive he designed the laws of the universe, the pillars of reality and set it all into motion. The primordial atom, the four forces, the Big Bang, stellar formation, accretion of planets, life and evolution flowed from that.

    • @Druffmaul
      @Druffmaul 8 ปีที่แล้ว

I would always ask what that was when I was little (usually in reference to Beatles songs probably,) and people would always tell me it was a sitar. It was many years later that I finally learned that a sitar sounds more like a typical string instrument, and the thing that makes that awesome magical droning buzz is a tambura.

    • @nicklindenmeyer6084
      @nicklindenmeyer6084 6 ปีที่แล้ว

its a tanpura. I have one. its. essentially the bass version of the sitar. the sitar plays the melody and the tanpura plays the raga drones in the background.

Originally Black Sabbath’s song heaven and hell was going to be about 20 minutes and I sort imagine it would have been something like this, btw if there are any musicians reading this it’d be lit to hear something like that.
