I do a lot of long distance driving as part of my work and bands like this, Earthless, Earth, Spacelords, Samsara Blues Experiment, help you absolutely melt miles away. 7 hours "ain't shit" when you've got a phone full of Space Rock albums. Good work boys.
I love the conceptual idea of Psychadelic and Space Rock, but the vast majority of Psych and Space Rock bands totally suck balls. You guys, Yuri Gagarin, you're one of the very few acts who really genuinely deliver the proper goods. Please, please, please keep playing. This world needs you, and desperately so.
Totalmente deacuerdo ! muy pocas logran llegar a ese sonido que solo hawkwind y unos pocos cuantos pueden dar en cuanto a space rock de calidad ! Pyramidal son muy buenos tambien !
it would be my favorite genre hands down if the vast majority of bands weren't so god awful you've got pink floyd, hawkwind, and... uhh................ the fact that "space rock" completely changed meaning in the 90s doesn't help either. spacemen 3 are not space rock
i get all my space metal recommendations from youtube since I listen to so much earthless. this band for sure listened to the early earthless jams. it's nice to hear the influence used. pink floyd aint got squat on earthless (or this album for that matter). I hope they have another

+SladeBallard Ever since I introduced a bud of mine to Off the Air, he never uses the original audio. He just picks an episode and puts on whatever music he's got around.
Hot DAMN from a 70's rocker, I'd give a big salute to Yuri and his team and many other parallel musicians. Enjoying this new found genre from the last 3 years. Thank You for posting.
2015 was a hell of a year for Space Rock. If you enjoyed this, might I suggest another masterpiece from this year. Space Invaders - Dreadnaught. These 2 albums are some of the greatest journeys I have ever been on.
He was a great youngman, tragic short life, some say he was murdered, some say it was an accident. This great band is a good tribute to him. Blessings Brother
+The Angry Little Alchemist A second issue of the album will be released in early 2016, And there will be webshops in America who will have it for sale.
My party just finished the Neverlight Grove section in Out of The Abyss and this was what I used for the combat music. The session went way better than I expected

Slip some Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come from albums like Journey, 'Galactic Zoo Dossier' & Gong in there with my favorite band since 72 Hawkwind In Search Of Space!~
I'm new to this album but wow what a find, absolutely brilliant stuff,I've had it on constant repeat, went and checked the other albums also, new fan here, thanks again TH-cam for the recommendation.
I use this music all the time for combat in my Tabletop group. Thanks for making such badass music. It adds so much to the tone of my Games. (For those who are curious. I run a Cypher System game based in the setting of Destiny, a first person looter-shooter made by Bungie. The lore and setting are fascinating and epic in scope, but the game really undersells those things. So I run my game to capitalize on said aspects. It's really cool.)
guys, i realy love ur Music.... it is outstandingly awesome.... very unique in style.... and i kinda don´t get tired listening to it. It realy makes me be in SPAAAAACE..... far far away from earth.........
11:00-13:03 The second half of Cluster of Minds. I just want that guitar to go on and on and on... sublime yet powerful 5/5 can't wait to here it live.
Space rock takes all the best things of my favorite genres of music and smashes them together in an infusion of sonic brilliance. I'm a fan of everything from blues, to Hendrix, to Sabbath, to Clutch, to stoner doom (bands like Om)... this is an amalgam of the best qualities of all of those, imo.
37:36 That has to be one of the greatest outros I have ever listened to. It really feels like you are at the end of an incredible journey. You can already see your destination on the horizon; you will be there soon. You take a deep breath and think about what lies behind you and what is still ahead of you. Thank you for this amazing album

Just got this on vinyl ! My Neurons are tweakin !! In FreakinKredible !!! I wish this band would tour America Soon. We are in desperate need of a renewed Psychedelic revolution in America . Far too many hungup individuals here :>
Man , that In The Abyss just blows a hole in my mind every time ! Love the whole album , but that tune , in particular is so intense ! What a ride ! Thanks guys !!
@Tony Wilson Hey , hey , T.W. Cheese !! Yeah , they jam . The one dude has like a sound fx board that reminds me of early Floyd with the squelchings and squeekings.! That guitar player is , like wow . Hell , the whole band rocks....full stop !
I must say this is the kind of stoner I was always attracted to the most. And yet it is somehow hard to find. Love the production levels you bring. It's just crisp enough to make you feel it's modern production but still has the core stoner feeling. Next thing is the wall of sound that's coming at you, especially in "At the center of all infinity". This song wow.. I mean... It sucks you in like the vacuum in space. Pure void. There is only one band I know that is similar to Yuri Gagarin and that is Monkey3. If anyone else know bands that make similar music please let me know.
+Luka K. I checked Ozirc Tentacles but they are more "shpongle-like" for me. I also sense the lack the beef that I can hear while listening to Yuri Gagarin. They are just not heavy enough for me. Thanks for the long list of suggestions. While most of 'em I either didn't like or knew already I stumbled upon Spiritual Beggars - Ad Astra album which I really like at first sight so thanks for that! :)
+Andrzej “Yendrek” Wójtowicz Not all these band are 'the same' but they feature lot's of lead/space out guitar or are just spaced out. - Open a new youtube tab
- Search "Off the Air - Space"
- Mute it and play this album
- Fullscreen

I will have this playing when my star ship arrives at Alpha Centauri 3...
You are going to stop at proxima centauri ? It's at least a light year closer.
