Why would someone try to stay relevant to people who aren't relevant to anyone or anything they respect? You think he respects most the shit that's out here now? You have to respect someone to validate or have value in anything they have to say so if you don't who tf are they to you?? Nah bro puff puff pass that shit somewhere else. Has anyone considered that Eminem doesn't go at Wayne or Jay or Tech because he has RESPECT for them? "He never goes at his peers."
His peers don't give him shit. It's only lesser artists that talk shit about Eminem. Wayne called him a Monster. Jay said he's one of the greatest. Everybody else wants Em to feature.

Saddest part is. Em is right. There was a huge shift In hip-hop culture some 5-10 years ago. Before you had to make your own lane, you couldn't be caught biting someone else's style/flow, and you for SURE couldn't have ghost writers. All that has changed for the worse. Rappers chasing name recognition, and damn be the hip-hop culture if it makes them money.
Em has stayed true to himself and to his fans. He has never faked his position and feelings towards something. Always pays respect to the ones that came before him. And hit us with insane penmanship, double/triple/quadruple entodrumes, with sick pockets and multisyllable rhyme schemes. Dude has proven time and time again he is the GOAT. and if he isn't YOUR goat, thats ok, but he is top 5 easy. Dudes resume speaks for itself

You're easily mislead if you think writers aren't standard industry practices. You're also willfully ignorant if you think Eminem is the exception. Usually the bigger they are, the more ghosts. You're uninformed if you think Em automatically makes top 5 by default. Lupe Fiasco, Black Thought, J Cole, Jay-Z, Kanye West. Lil Wayne, 3000, Nas and more.

your mislead if you think it was standard in hiphop to have ghost writers and copying flow style 5-10 years ago as the original commenter said. Yeah it’s been the standard for other music genres but not in Hip hop . There was of course rare exceptions like Eazy E not writing his stuff but he was part of N.W.A his group members are heavy hitters writing it for him that’s still not the standard. It goes against the love of the art writing your own rhymes and only top tier lyricist were respected for that talent. Your ignorant if you believe Ems using ghost writers he has proved he writes his own shit & other artists have confirmed it. Em started as a battle rapper you had to fire back off the top of the dome I.e freestyle to your opponent can’t ghost write in the moment of a battle. Your also uninformed if you think Em isn’t in top 5, he may not be in your opinion but all of the OG rap legends have put Em in theirs and their opinion is respected more then a nobody. Em is among one of the greatest wordsmiths ever and most artists you listed said ems in theirs. Just because it’s accepted to copy & standard to have ghost writers now doesn’t mean it was back then when em was coming up so Ems point is valid so is the comment your ignorant ass replied to. We’re not talking about pop songs here we’re talking about rap I.e rhythm & poetry.

I personally love Revival. Not every track, but there's so much gold there. Maybe it doesn't sound too much like hip hop. But Eminem is bigger imo than to restrict himself to one genre. He can do it all, and why limit himself. River with Ed Sheeran was nothing less than amazing to me. chloraseptic had me entertained, thought that was funny. Loved Zombie, who can't relate to just wanting to get away from it all sometimes? Arose and Castle, amazing. Tragic endings was nice and believe was just unreal. If we're talking about his music, than there's a lot of bias and taste envolved in it, it's subjective. But that point about him not battling great rappers make it sound like there were a lot of them just throwing shots at him and he just did nothing. They simply just didn't say anything out of respect or fear. And the Joe Budden situation: EM dissed Joe on Chloraseptic Remix and Joe tried to say it wasn't for him. When Em actually said his name on Kamikaze, instead of writing a response, Joe threw a tantrum in his podcast. WTF was Em suposed to do? Release a diss track on a retired rapper that didn't write a single bar during their altercation? What a load of BS

So basically I'm a Mexican born and raised old school, started working as early as I can remember, never cared for rock and roll or metal, which they have in mexico, I grew up listening to romantic ballads, Cumbias Sonideras , Rancheras,
And being raised as a Jehovas Witness in a catholic closed minded community, I remembered I had to put up with alot of bs, not complaining tho, by the time I was 13, I felt quite capable of walking around mexico city by myself at 2 am going home with almost no money cuz I spent it on a bar,, I remembered how in the religious reunions, publications were written by Americans, and would talk about how their faith was tested and how brave they were,, later on just seemed so dumb, me taking examples of bravery by middle class Christians Americans, anyway never thought to me as a Mexican, I could relate so much to an American,, I had no idea what the songs said, Stan, Cleaning out my closet, I remembered I was approached by the elders and told me that as a jehovas Witness I shouldn't listen to music I had no idea what he was actually saying, so had to listen when I knew parents weren't around, and I spent most of the day everyday in a bakery, Mexicans know you can work all day but you gotta have your music full blast on, by age 14 got kicked out the religion and my parents house(I basically stopped allowing ppl to talk shit to me so became very rebellious my parents feared I was bad influence ) by age 15 came to California ,, knowing that for some reason I like eminem, not cuz he was white, not cuz he was popular, was the attitude the I don't give a f attitude, I had never used a computer before and my first thing I did was look for eminems story, I never knew lyrics existed, so when I found a website and saw all the 4 albums all songs I could clicked and have the lyrics to the songs, was so incredible I printed out like 200 pages, put em in a binder, and would read em and listen nonstop to songs, that's how I learn English within a year, at high-school, I could do the class assignments in 5 mins what the rest of the class would take the whole period no cap, a girl who show me around my first day in high school and had been in California for 5 years was copying off me, I never knew or realized that hip-hop was black or whatever, I would buy clothes as Em would wear, the G-Unit clothes bandana, white snickers, not realizing nor caring that homes from the hood saw me and thought I was in a gang, and since I felt like a grown ass man, I never ran from them, got jumped countless times on the way to school or after, and was because how I dress, and I would dress how I wanna dress, homies thought I was trying to be black, during all that time ems music blasting on the headphones, not giving an F if 5 dudes would pull up, and was go time, live half a live and throw the rest away!!! Never intended to say I ride with em, no joke, I don't praise him as much nor I care to wanna meet him, so one thing that I cam say, is I lived and understood everything he rapped about, the fact that after the eminemshow, he acknowledged he made songs for fun, the relapse we made you, was just silly shit, 3 qm too fictional, but again made me know for sure that all the stuff from before was genuine cuz you can't never stay angry at the same issue forever, recovery, I played Not afraid over 3 thousands times in a week, on iTunes, but because of the unexpected success of Love the way you lie, which is a great song , so is love you more, and then the monster with again Rihana, I can see why he was comfortable to put out Rivival, and even if you take into acount the story begin the revival snippet, was just a sign of maturity, the Trump thing, I seriously thought em was on a mission to kill his own career, cuz there's no body capable of ending his career but he himself, that verse in Bad guy is the best diss there is of Em, and that shit gives me chills,
Kamikaze lucky you, was dope af, the speedom song gave to tech out of respect and tech did the beast remix ,
So when ppl say you don't play em in a club or in ur car, just let them have it, makes them feel good about themselves
I would love to see someone come at em lyrically, but they know they can't F with the white boy, cuz even a Mexican and lots of true fans around the world would gladly go one on one with yall, and it's not defending Marshall, I be defending that which gave my life meaning, name other than pac, or biggie, big l, master j and few others that have help struggling man find their courage to keep on going, yeah you have entertainers like drake no disrespect they're entertainers, not artist, being an artist is a title very few are deserving of all across all genders, yeah my apologies for the long comment, if you get what I'm saying good, if not even better cuz it's not for everyone and no I'm no Stan, I'm simply one of his true fans,

Eminem had always been in the Hip Hop building while he’s been seeing other rappers entering and leaving the building even your favorite club rappers

The snoop thing, all I seen when it was happening is how everyone didn't want a beef, besides they sorted it out between them because Dre was in the hospital, truly amazing how people twist things

I HATE when People say EM was not as good as he was with Dre.... if he was shit Dre would never have Risked EVERYTHING to work with him.... SMH... how come People always think that Dre is the reason EM is only so good because of Dre's influence, Dre Developed EM's talents more he let EM grow but EM was always Incredible....

The young guys don't respect talented rapper at all. Remember when lil pump said biggie was trash. Em is a top 5 lyricist of all time and the biggest selling rapper of all time. These idiots can't discredit him. Hate only comes from beneath you, never above you. The only people hating on him can't rap with him.
