I saw him on a local smoke shop commercial & I guess felt like he wasn’t getting work. I was mistaken. I’m loving these interviews, his wisdom & the stories from back in the day. I used to “personal shop”/give him my nautica discount in like 2004 bc he lived out by me & where I worked. New respect for him for sure. Glad to see him here.

I’ve lived in NYC my entire life, lived through the 80’s and 90’s , let me tell you I went to Detroit in 1998, most gangsta place I’ve ever been hands down.
So I'ma Christian and have morals and don't condone drugs or violence and came from all that before I was saved, but having an ol head like Yayo to mentor the youth is way better than not having anyone to look up to at all. When you go through it and are down bad and mixed up in the streets, of you don't believe in Jesus and don't follow his words of wisdom, ol heads that are out the game and can help you to recognize right and wrong is better than nothing.
Yayo hands down one of the best guest on any podcast, he's humble, patient, funny and engaging.
