- NEW XMod for Charger & Challenger by Magnaflow. Dodge Charger R/T 6.5L 397 with Jannetty Racing Cam is getting a new straight pipe designed exhaust by Magnaflow called XMod. The Charger R/T had the Maganflow Competition series which gave it a very deep bassy exhaust note - will the new Magnaflow XMod Series make the Charger R/T sound more Vicious?! Sounds great! Definitely love the loudness but also loved the other exhaust as well! Just sounded very subtle like you said. Will definitely be looking into something in the future for my 2013 police interceptor. Would love for you to see it when it’s all done! I’m on Long Island as well.

I think Borla and Corsa pioneered this no drone system and each have their own unique sound but I’m guessing the magna X mod is a lot more budget friendly
The no drone is a key - that is why I was ok with the straight piped setup
The Corsa and Borla systems are much less. Magnaflow lists their Xmod exhaust system for a Mustang GT at $3,000. For a Mopar, the cost will be at least that much if not more. There is a Mopar tax on almost every mod. Magnaflow sent these exhaust systems to Mopar enthusiasts that have a fairly large number of TH-cam subscribers. Magnaflow sent the XMod system to R/T Life and Racer X for them to review in the hope they would promote the product. There might be others. Based on price. Magnaflow is looking to appeal owners of higher trim levels such as Hellcats, Redeyes, and Demons.

I would love to do this to my 392 charger, however out here. The California highway patrol hate our vehicles! They actively search for art chargers, hoping that you modify the exhaust so they can give you a ticket

@@RTLife yep, it sucks. I've already then stopped once. I asked him why he stopped me, he said "exhibition of speed" lol look that one up!🤣 it's such BS law. I didn't even break the speed limit. but he thought I had a modified exhaust. All because I, I had my Charger in track mode and accelerated hard. Well he stoped me, looked under my car, looking for my modified exhaust 🤣. Left with no ticket but with a good laugh.

@@RTLife yes they are. ive commented on some (a few) v6 or 4.0 mustang videos. i dont think i was disrespectful though. there was a video i saw a guy who raced his v6 stang against v6 pentastar chargers and claimed he can keep up. when he was wasted by a 392 charger he swore the guy modded his car. its purely physics. some stang owners just dont get that. they think saving money on a 4.0 will get you a fast car just because it has a pony on it. sensible people know when the fight is fair. like you wont put your 345 against a 426 heliphant.

they supply new valves that connect to your stock wiring. It's def a nice setup. Magnaflow crushed it with this new Xmod.

It's ferocious dude and amazes me how well these gen3 hemis sound when allowed to breathe, even with a simple mod and see a lot of guys just straight piping their Mopars. I also thought about doing that when we were looking to replace the massive suitcase resonator/muffler laden stock system, but decided on aftermarkets instead because of the increased diameter of the 3"and flows so much better now. Hey congrats on the score with Magnaflow, and is definitely a very nice system brother. Saw the Racer X vids of it, and really is a highly engineered product. Lol is just the opposite of the pipes on my Challenger, and replaced them from the cat's back with 3in slps. They don't consist of much and are the 3" with open chamber racing bullets, and its 6.1 sounds amazing with them on it. Do you have line lock in that ?
I got one of those z-auto plug & play burnbox that goes into the OBD port, and is one of the best innovations ever. The best part about it is that you don't have to tap into the hydraulic braking system anymore, and are a must for big long burnouts. They're not designed for it, but I actually use it for lunch control as well and just bring up the RPMs to about 2 to 3k then ya let er rip
I def know what you mean about getting that wider diameter for better air flow. Magnaflow did a great on this setup - really happy I was able to install it on my RT. Certainly is making the sound match the performance now!

@@RTLife I meant that the 3" flows better than simply removing the resos/mufflers, and agree with you on the magnaflows bud. Is why I said good things about them, and is a very versatile and nice system all around

Most catbacks are pricey. I love my current setup Magnaflow Xmod but I think borla atak can be purchased for less - both sound great
