- This warm music with an optimistic message in my absolute most favourite game ever - OMORI - definitely needed an orchestral rendition. I highly recommend this game to everyone, it is so very beautiful. Just be wary of spoilers on the internet!

This song reminds me of when I saw my deeply missed best friend in my dream. A person who had been missing for over 6 years looking him in the eyes was so surreal. I remember telling him I care about and missed him. He replied with, "I know, I do too." I still think about this sometimes.

Tbh, when I bought OMORI for my birthday earlier this year, I had a few nightmares-REAL ONES-about it. S👁🗨METHING was in all of them. I honestly thought I was doomed back then. But I’ve learned a good many coping strategies since those dreams attacked me, and now, I might be ready to face S👁🗨METHING again. And actually take it down this time. I’ve been waiting for a sign that I should give OMORI another try. And then this just appeared in my recommended. _This_ is that sign. Wish me luck; I’m gonna need it…

Omori is like "yeah yeah you wanna forget yeah" but he communicates that by just staring
I was diagnosed with C-PTSD when I was 16-17 years old. The PTSD came from the 3 years of bullying and harassment from middle school, my freshman year in virtual school, the countless shitty and traumatic relationships, etc. that I've had.
This song makes me cry because I know I won't have most of my childhood memories like my peers do. My memories for the most part have been wiped clean and I don't remember anything good. I suppose this song comforts me in a way. Its like "hey your life was shit but guess what? you're gonna heal and you'll come back better than ever."
I'm not diagnosed with ptsd or any of its forms, but I have the exact same issue, which makes me cry when listening to By Your Side since it’s composed to make you think about happy childhood memory, the ones I do not have and never will.
I don’t know how I should feel about that, since my childhood was pretty shitty, but not as much as yours I would say.
Omori made me cry from the beginning to the end because I related to many parts of it.

everytime i hear this song... something happens with me, it gaves... a feeling of melancholy and regrets, sometimes it makes me remember these hard times i had all over the years, the months i spent alone, the wrong choises i did... it just makes me want to keep going and face all this, but still, no one cares about this anyways... its just a great song that helps me on hard times
The original and this cover as well really captivate the feeling of standing up on your own again and getting back up, moving onwards..

Indeed, this music, to my mind more so than most tracks in OMORI (and they are all fitting!), perfectly expresses this hope out of despair, together with those who believe in you.
I played this song last night for my DnD game when one of my players ended up falling in battle. The intense battle suddenly got so emotional as tears were shed and others angrily lashed out at the boss who brought her demise. This cover really delivered on the impact of it all.
I feel incredibly honoured! And I am absolutely happy that my cover could help bring forth these emotions in such an intense moment :)

Oh god, that’s a TERRIFYING combo right there…a string instrument AND the piano!? Oh dear god…I tried the violin once. I failed at it. Never played it again. But I picked up the piano as easily as I picked up technology (I’m really good with computers), and I’ve stuck with it to this day. Oh, and “MARI” is literally IN MY NAME (if you read through my first, middle and last names one letter at a time, you’ll find the letters to spell out “MARI,” _and_ they’re actually in the right order, too! Not going to post them on the public internet, though, for obvious privacy reasons)…
