By far the most instructional video on how to rewind a motor for use with a battery. This Is a great video!
Again, thank you so much!
I was disappointed when armature was short to body. Because it takes lots of time to rewind. Appreciate your hard work 👍.
o
Yes, I scratched out the internal isolation of the armature, while I was removing the old oil.
The rewinding of the motor is some dedication, great work!
The world needs such clever people !!
Yes, you're right.
I like that the battery weight is on top where it might even help with better planing. More balanced that the back of batteries. Sweet job.
Yes, I'm glad you think like me. Thank you!
I love these converting AC to DC power tool projects. Nothing else like it on youtube.
I'm glad you like them!
AMAZING JOB WOW
Thank you!
you did a great job, i love it
if it uses a brushless motor, that's fine
Yes, thanks
Great great job. Nice work 👍👍👍
Thank you!
thank you teacher
Very good at restoration, good job
Thank you very much again!
Excellent work👍👍👍 . Thanks for sharing
You're welcome, thank you!
Rất thích xem video của bạn.
Tôi rất vui vì bạn yêu thích tác phẩm của tôi.
Nice, rebuild, well done.
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Damn, when you had to start all over again with that armature....that sucked.
It is my mistake that I don't use insulation plastic.
Brilliant sir you are my idol
Wow, I'm so happy to hear that, thank you!
That’s some good winding. Great work. 👏🏼
Top Man Excellent result
Thank you!
Thank you for the upload 👍🔥👈
My pleasure, I'm glad you like it.
Great job.
Thank you!
Great Build!
I'm glad you like it
Nice work. You literally hacked an AC-powered planer and adapted it to become cordless.
What gave you that idea very observant aren’t you
Great to see you did this and it worked - when I tried the green or grey ceramic/epoxy on most motor winds is impossible to cut through - needs an angle grinder. Plus get the magnets sorted first! And then the current is ten times what it was designed for on the commutator bars and brushes. High current DC motors use rare earth sintered block brushes. High voltage low current usually carbon.
EXCELLENT and USEFUL video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice job my friend
Thank you! Cheers my friend!
wooho i think you have a new broadband
coz you are answering all our ques😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
This man cuts no corners! Amazing work!
Thank you!
wow perfect transformation
👍😉
Beautiful! 😊
Very good tutorial
Awesome video love this channel ❤
Great idea!👍
Great job 👍
I could watch this all day long, well, some tools restorations, anyway.
Great job
Thank you!
You always make something to amazing
I'm glad you like it.
Very cool
Wow, good job 👍
Thanks! 😊
You done a grand job well done patients of a saint dude :-)
Thanks so much!
Chế cũng hay nhưng khe hở từ giữa rô to và nam châm khá lớn làm giảm công xuất của mô tơ.

As good as always
Thanks again!
great job🙂
Thanks
Great 🤝

Very good work ❤️
Thanks a lot 😊
Verry Good
Thank you! Cheers!
Good afternoon! Does the battery not have protection against deep discharge? Need to monitor your battery? Thank you!
great as usual, I wonder if the torch is too hot to melt the insulation on the windings?
Out of curiosity, what do u do with all the power tools u restored/modified?
I like your video
Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
👌👌👌
Beauytiful👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Excelent bro, useful vídeo.
Thank you!
exellent bro
Thanks for the visit
Wow, this one sure put up a fight! You didn't give up and the end result is awesome as usual. As always, very well done, sir.
Yes, very project are different, this one is a bit harder than others. Thanks again!
당신 진짜 대단해요👏👏👏👏👏
매우 감사합니다!
Very nice. Love your video. Maybe with router?
Спасибо за видео!!!
Не за что!
Vua độ 👍
凄い。
ありがとうございました!
👍👍👍
Thanks!
Amazing work!!!!!!Love it!!!BTW, if you try not to remove the USB? You can also add various 5V auxiliary gadgets, such as laser, lighting, etc.: D,Because his position and angle are very good~~
This is the one person you want to be with during a zombie apocalypse!
Haha, don't forget contact me that time :D
i'm support you
Thank you!
good job for higher motor power use neodymium magnets.
Okay, thank you for the tips! I will try it next time.
nice
Thanks!
I wonder if the Milwaukee Top-off would have worked? Would it be able to put out enough power to run a planer?
Bravo majstirčino
Gear Showsan, is it resin that coats the armature windings? If so, why? Thermal barrier? When you re-windi them, does not having that coating affect the life of the armature? You do great work.
Yes, it is resin. There is nothing effect the life of the armature. Thank you!
nice work.
hi, I'm great fan of your channel.
appreciate if u can make a video for detail convert from 100V motor to 18V motor (calculation, load factor, how to winding correctly, wires size, magnet size, tips/trick, etc)
19:35 my cat at 3am
Haha,…
Can you put website link to the makita bearing puller kit you use? I saw it in one of your old videos.
Great job as usual 🌷
I bought it from local store.
@@gear_show can you write the part number with a photo, please 🙏?
I have a deerma dx700 vacuum and i always dream about replacing its ac motor by a bldc so i can use my 18V makita battery like this :)))
Very good job, as usually, but i have somes notes. 13:15 the gap between the stator and rotor must be as minimum as possible, air is not a good conductor for magnetic flux.14:37, power 60 watts is without load, with load will be higher of course.
Yes, you're right. The power will increase while loading. Thank you!
how did you decide how many turn it will be ? nice video !
I study it from DC armature 12V 14V 18V and 24V.
Greeeat
Thanks!
I want to convert my power tools to cordless, but I don't know what brand of battery to buy, can you help me by telling me what brand you use?
👌👍
How do you know the turns for rewind 18v motor?
I study from original DC armature 12V, 18V, 24V and 36V.
Can you try to rewind the field magnet to low voltage and use it with the modified armature instead of permanent magnet. 😌
klasss
What is the wood and plastic for in the coil winding?
It is bamboo sticks and book cover plastic
where can i buy thank Hand? Such a gifted.... More power
Is it possible to use high rpm 775 motor instead of rewinding.
Depends of the watts supports,
I have a high rpm 775 motor, but the power isn't enough for this project.
@@gear_show Ok sir thank you
Could you explain the basics of rewiring in a video. Why 5 stacks? Why 10 turns? Does the diameter of the wire affects? Thanks
The wire diameters affects for the wattage functionally, more diameters cable supports more current and of course more power, but it this implies more heating motor
The armature structure 12 stacks, We need to wrap coil wire cover 5 stacks. 10 turns is maximum turns with the coil diameter. Yes, @acdcjavier22 explains about the wire diameter.
😉👍
Thanks
What do you do with all the tools you fix because it looks like a lot of them?
I love electronic tool, I keep them all.
@@gear_show ok cool lol
Tem que ter muita segurança no que faz, sábio profissional.👍👏
Where can I find this battery and adapter?
You can find it from online shop.
@@gear_show please share the link!
@@germancolina4937 yeahh, can u shared it?
Where do you get the battery and the future?
Great. I can't imagine that I will be able convert the drill which was gifted to me by my relative and is idle since it can be Operated in 110v ac.
how do you know the number of turns in the new armature.
I study from DC armature.
Mükemmel
