Really looking forward to this unboxing. Symbaroum is a fantastically moody and gritty, but not grimdark, game system and setting. My fingers are crossed that you also receive the SFG and Kobold Press Tales of the Valiant Starter Set for review. Love the sculpts they’ve demoed for that as well. Ever since I saw your review of the Manticore Epic Encounter, I’ve been heavily impressed with SFG’s designs and the value of these boxes to present an engaging play session for the table in a compact way.
I'd say you're an "influencer". Your images and back stories of the monsters and characters are quite entertaining. The more of these videos I watch the closer I get to actually going down this rabbit hole of collecting minis.
Will have to wait for the full review to get a good look at it but I’d bet the colass is an incredibly good mini but the gem and the barrow set will probably sell more just for the player minis and I for sure will be getting that box when it’s available
Hi, can I ask for a favor? I'm looking for some info on the Pawns from Kobold Press Tales of the Valiant Monster Vault. I'm sure they have great monsters but I don't know if they have troops, or swarms, or multiple copies/versions for kobolds and stuff. If you run out of stuff to do and you already have a copy, let us know!
The medium size creatures, which might come in a troops or as minions include multiples: Bugbears(3), Orcs (3), but then most medium creatures are single pawns. For the small pawns, like the Kobolds(3) there are 2-3 of each, except for the Deep Gnome which is a single. So you end up with many multiples you can use to fill out encounters with minions. It’s an imminently more portable solution for minis than carting around a giant box of full sized figures. Be aware that they do not include the standee bases for these, but you can use basically any pawn standees for the appropriate size base. I’ve heard Pathfinder pawn bases work particularly well.
@matthewsnow-zj1cu Thanks for the info. I LOVE the maps from the campaign builder series! I take my Pathfinder pawns and put them into document sleeves, and they are super organized in a 3-inch D-ring binder.
That kobold is giving serious Jamiroquai vibes.

Cant wait to see the models
Love the epic encounter reviews. Great models
Agreed. They rock!
Looks class, that mug 😍 😂
I've never been upset with an Epic Encounter set, so I look forward to getting a closer look at these.
I'd love to get all that Epic Encounters stuff!

Love the design of that mug 👍
What's always missing from these packages is a REAL sword!
The maps, minis, T-shirts, hats, bags, etc. are alwasy nice, but we need REAL swords!
True. Though that would have been a bit trickier to get through customs I suppose. 🗡️
@@TheGallantGoblin Oh...ummm....that's what magic spells are for.
Wait...so you just unboxed the boxes....
Yeah, pretty much. 😝 It’s kind of what we do here. But sit tight, the full review is coming very soon.
