Tbf, most gym leaders back then didn't really interact with each other, and any interactions we know of were off screen or rarely occured. Gen 8 let them have free will with most of their character interactions which is why so many people like this set of characters. They all have interactions with each other, essentially. On top of the dlc option, which gave them more time to add to the characters' personalities.

I absolutely love the personality of the Gym leaders/other characters in Galar. These interactions definitely let me appreciate them way more. Also Milo being a supportive big brother to Allister is so wholesome and precious. Also the interation between Melonie and Allister at 9:44 all I can say is XD Melonie is such a mom *I know that she is Geordie's mom but still*. (If you couldn't tell my favorite character is Allister...he's just so precious)

the interactions of all these characters plus how much their lives have changed throughout the adventure makes me want a black 2 and white 2 scenario for sword and shield, just to fight bede and marnie as gym leaders and see hop as a professor

Marnie is so cute when around 9:41 she smiles and puts her hands behind her back during Leon's explanation of keeping or switching partners, like she believes the player and her will win the whole tournament together, that faith is so cute!
I think this generation is the only one to give the gym leaders any real character and character development. It’s especially noticeable in Allister and Hop. It’s quite nice being able to interact with the gym leaders somewhat.
But they were never in the story. Also Leon never really helped hop for his insecurity. Instead we have an arc for roxie. Or we help Jasmine in the lighthouse, or the lance mission in the team rocket hideout. I wish the story will have a real character development, so i will be emotional when i face finally the gym leader
I'm not sure who else got this one, but there's a special interaction between the first three gym leaders; If you choose Kabu as your partner, and go up against Nessa and Milo, the three of them reminisce about seeing you and Hop off in Motostoke right after beating Kabu's gym.
Pulled it out of the same hammer space that Joseph Joestar got that Tommy Gun from. Fun fact, it’s also where Deadpool keeps his rocket launchers and other outlandish weaponry.
1:50 man this is such an interesting pair. especially considering if i recall correctly, that Melony was the only gym leader of the batch who can rival and beat raihan. A nice, respectful duo 4:41 funny hair duo. also i love their reactions. both pondering their hair.

I love these interactions, they’re well written and give us some insight into the relationships between the characters. You can tell they had fun with some of the lines too, like that play rough one lol

At least with the Allister interactions we’ve seen, it’s safe to say the ones that aren’t programmed would still be just as wholesome. I don’t think even Bede or the twins would have anything bad to say about the little bean.
You also have how he’s one of the few characters that make Bea smile, the others being Mustard and I think the player. The latter two make sense given how powerful and respected you and Mustard are, but Gordie seems a little strange. But in Bea’s league card, it mentions how the general public’s never really seen her smile, and suggests that there might be someone special to her. Tl;Dr: Bea and Gordie are probably dating.
Sometimes it works, but other times how they sound might be best left up to the imagination. That being said I don't remember anyone sounding bad in Twilight Wings.
I like seeing how good the gym leaders get along in this game. In the other games most of the gym leaders were never even in the same room together, so it's cool that it's not the same for this one

I think this generation is the only one to give the gym leaders any real character and character development. It’s especially noticeable in Allister and Hop. It’s quite nice being able to interact with the gym leaders somewhat.

But they were never in the story. Also Leon never really helped hop for his insecurity. Instead we have an arc for roxie. Or we help Jasmine in the lighthouse, or the lance mission in the team rocket hideout. I wish the story will have a real character development, so i will be emotional when i face finally the gym leader

I hated Bede at first, but now he's grown me, but he's not my favorite rival. I love how in the postgame he puts cocky people in their place.

You also have how he’s one of the few characters that make Bea smile, the others being Mustard and I think the player. The latter two make sense given how powerful and respected you and Mustard are, but Gordie seems a little strange. But in Bea’s league card, it mentions how the general public’s never really seen her smile, and suggests that there might be someone special to her.
Tl;Dr: Bea and Gordie are probably dating.
