Hi y'all. It's been awhile since I last commented. I've loved them all. Your content is so good. I love the way you bring the sounds along with the sights. It's too bad you can't record local pop music from the Uber radio. I bet youtub wouldn't let it fly tho. So all we can hope for is a cacophony like the Manila market. I'm almost as excited about Africa as y'all are. Keep up the outstanding field reporting for those of us stuck at home. ( as you said in a previous piece, these pieces will be cherished memories soon enough. ) ❤❤
Hi there! It's great to hear from you again! We're thrilled you're still enjoying our content. 😊 We're super excited about Africa too and can't wait to share it with you. Thanks for sticking with us and for your kind words. These pieces really will be cherished memories.
Yes huge port contrasts I have no desire to go to UAE None of these cities should even be there Built by oil money with almost slave labour Tragic These cities don’t seem real but they were built Anyways you’re there and need to experience everything Move on and enjoy
Wow indeed! Absolutely breathtaking. I love how you reach for words to describe such wonders. Thank you for all that you both share with us. I don't feel the urge to travel to many of these places, but glad you do so I can see it along with you. See you on the next stop!:)
Thank you so much! It's wonderful to know that we can bring these experiences to you, even if you don't feel the urge to travel yourself. We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing more adventures with you. See you at the next stop!
That’s awesome! Abu Dhabi has a way of leaving a lasting impression, doesn't it? We're glad our video could bring back those beautiful memories for you. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with us! 😊
The mosque and palace were beautiful. I love mosaics and the amount of work and vision they entail. It was such a bright white city. I’m sure the sun reflecting off all those buildings was even more beautiful than what was in the video. One of the things that amazes me in these videos as people have shown malls in different countries is the number of US chains that are there. Thanks and stay safe
Thank you so much! The mosque and palace are indeed breathtaking, it's something that the video can only capture so much of! It's fascinating to see how many US chains have made their way around the world. Thanks for watching, and we appreciate your well-wishes.
Thank you so much for watching and enjoying our videos! 🥰 Making these videos is our hobby, and it gives us a purpose while traveling. Knowing that others like you appreciate our work is a huge motivation for us to create even better videos. We love showing rather than just telling about our experiences, and your support means the world to us!
Gosh I had no idea! What a stunning place! Another one added to my list of 'must see'! Do you think the Mosque beats the Taj Mahal? Just looking at the intricacy and beauty made me think of that. I'm so enjoying your vlogs - thank you again for taking the time to share them -
I was surprised myself by how stunning both the mosque and the presidential palace are. The Taj Mahal is famous for a reason, but honestly, what they've built in Abu Dhabi is equally, if not more, impressive. Each has its own unique beauty. Next time you're in the UAE, visiting Abu Dhabi is a must! Thanks for enjoying our vlogs and we like reading your comments.
@@bztravel thank you - I feel the UAE is a must do now. The Taj Mahal has the love story but the mosque was just on another level - and that's on video - the detail of the inlay in the marble - just stunning!
Wow. Those places were amazing and beyond description. And the outside so clean. I wonder how they dispose of their trash and sewage. So different from India. Also, it would be interesting to visit the Abu Dhabi ‘slums’ to see how they compare.
It’s incredible how pristine everything is, isn't it. Abu Dhabi does an excellent job maintaining cleanliness. Abu Dhabi doesn’t have slums like in some other parts of the world. However, there are certainly areas where laborers and lower-income residents live, which can be quite different from the luxurious parts of the city.
Thank You for watching! The map is created in Adobe After Effects. If you are comfortable in using AE and have a specific question about specific step Zarko will be glad to answer it.
I really enjoyed this video and I want to thank you for the respect you showed by covering appropriately while visiting the mosque. I can see you and your husband are experienced travelers.
You mention getting an Uber. I’m totally ignorant of how to do that. If you have time could you explain how in a 1-2-3 style for those of us who have never used them and might need to in the future?
Absolutely! Getting an Uber is pretty simple, even if you're not super tech-savvy. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide: 1 .Download the App: First, you'll need to download the Uber app on your smartphone. If you have an iPhone, go to the App Store; if you have an Android, go to the Google Play Store. Search for "Uber" and install the app. 2. Create an Account: Open the app and follow the instructions to create an account. You’ll need to provide your name, email address, phone number, and payment information (like a credit card). 3. Book a Ride: Once your account is set up, you’re ready to book a ride. Open the app, and it will show your current location on a map. Enter your destination in the "Where to?" box. The app will then show you different types of rides (like UberX, which is the standard option). 4. Confirm Your Ride: After selecting your ride type, tap "Confirm." The app will then show you the estimated time of arrival for your driver and the cost of the ride. 5. Meet Your Driver: The app will show you your driver’s name, photo, and car details. When the car arrives (you can see it approaching on the map), just hop in and confirm your name with the driver. 6. Enjoy the Ride: Sit back and enjoy your ride! The driver will take you to your destination, and the payment will be handled automatically through the app, so you don’t need to worry about cash. 7. Rate Your Driver: After the ride, the app will ask you to rate your driver and provide feedback. This helps keep the service reliable for everyone. And that’s it! It might seem a bit daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll find it quite convenient. Safe travels!
