What a lovely place! The peacefulness of Lillesand and the more bustling and commercial Kristiansand - glad that Zarko got to test the local beer too! Looking forward to the fjiords - thanks again for sharing -
Zarko couldn’t resist trying the local beer-always part of the adventure! 😊 We’re excited to share the fjords next; they’re truly breathtaking. Thanks for watching and coming along on the journey with us!
This was my first ever stop on my first ever cruise. I enjoyed the town but on reflection there was not much there but as the first ever stop, just getting off the ship walking around and then getting back on again felt like an adventure.
Couldn’t agree more! Towns like Kristiansand are perfect for just wandering and taking in the atmosphere. It’s not always about big attractions but about soaking up the local charm, and for a first-ever cruise stop, it’s such a great intro.
Oh, that’s a tough one! We love discovering something unique in every place we visit, and each spot has its own charm. With only a few hours in each port, it’s hard to pick absolute favorites-every destination left an impression in its own way. We’re just happy to keep traveling and exploring, soaking in the variety that each place offers. Thanks for the question, though-it’s got us reminiscing about all those amazing northern Europe stops!
Beatiful city but I know what you mean by not telling about the cost of the lunch....too expensive....and did you notice that there are two different menus....one for Americans and one for the locals and others,,,,,,,
The menu was displayed on the street so we didn't notice a different one for the locals. That said, the fried fish was absolutely worth it-best we’ve ever tasted!
Gosh this is such a wonderful town, I could live there!

Of all the places you've visited in northern Europe, which three places are your favourites?

Do they call moose, elk in Scandinavia?
Looked like a moose to me but don't take my word.
@@bztravelIf it looks like a moose, walks like a moose, then it’s a moose!! (Or Elk)
