Not a new bike day…..

A trip out on the Caadx after giving it a makeover recently , I have gone for a stealthy battle ship grey colour. Nearly 2 months since I have done any decent miles on a bike, well apart from my daily commute.
Winter riding means your bike always needs washing on your return and re lubing the chain.

Hi Dave, sorry only just got round to watching this, countryside around you looking lovely as always, the bike is looking spot on, surprising how stealthy that grey is, with the bags etc on it breaks the outline up more, barely notice it from a few feet away, good job👌🏻, looking forward to the trips next year, counting down the days!😂🚲⛺️👍🏻

canny spray job dave.grey very popular bike colour just now.but the green gave you the high vis for winter 👍just been cleaning my bike from sunday & putting new chain on (cracked link) Carlisle looks as wet as Newcastle 🥴🌧️atb🚴good to have thing to look forward to

Thanks Geordie , yeah just fancied a change . Gave mine a good clean on its return as always easier when it’s wet mud lol . always planning for future trips as it gets you through the winter months. 👍

Hi Dave is that mud track the path from Westlinton up to Sandysikes? Can you continue it up to Longtown on the old rail track ?

It is but it ends at mountelm scrappy, it does continue Towards Longtown as a path but on private gated land unfortunately
