Rudy's creativity on the line choice was awesome to watch. My line choice is based on one thing - survival. Maybe, I will get there in another decade of riding.
This was a fun watch! Rudy guided Evan and I around Brewer and Piedmont and showed us much of the same in your video. It’s rad what he has done on these trails. Randy is great to ride with as well! Can’t wait to get back up here.
Yeah I want to go back as well, what will they have added next?! Rudy sees all kinds of lines out on the trail, and a nice dude to top, it was a fun ride for sure!
Homebrew was the trail I rode the most during my time in Duluth as a UMD student and to this day is still my favorite blue trail. So many optional lines to progress on and level up your rock slab riding. Rudy has those locals lines, would never have thought of some of those, way to give that one a go! Some new additions in this video there since I’ve ridden it and more plans for new features has me stoked to ride this classic again!
You captured the essence of Home Brew: “so many optional lines to progress on and level up your rock slab riding.” It’s such a jam packed 2.5 miles, yet offers flow in spots as well. Good to know it’s in such capable hands with Rudy and the rest of the COGGS crew!
Awesome video, Rob! It was such a great time riding with you and Rudy “The Beast” O’Brien! You know you’ll always have me available as a riding partner when you make the trip up to Duluth. You really progressed and conquered some of Duluth’s gnarliest trails!
Another great video Rob! Brewer is freaking fun! So funny you got to meet Rudy after riding Piedmont together and talking about him! He's doing doing awesome things in the sister systems Piedmont/Brewer! Looking forward to our next ride together bro!
@RocksteadyMTB thanks buddy! Yeah it was great getting Rudy’s perspective on things out on the trails. He definitely sees lines that I could bike over hundreds of times and not notice. Good to know these fabulous trail systems are in such good hands! 🤘
