    Thank you for being one of the few active TH-camrs making Starfinder content. Really love the lore of the game.
    Pls do a video on Dragonkin or Necrovites!

      Thanks so much for watching! I haven't done anything on dragonkin yet but I did talk about the dragonkin homeworld Triaxus

      @@TheMapleTable Thanks! The lore of the Dragonkin is so interesting particularly with the concept of bonds.
      Only problem is they're too damn big for most indoor areas XD

    I personally like the idea that a mad technomage has a mega dungeon somewhere in the lower area of the station. Either through a teleporting trap, or maybe a pocket dimension disguised as a simple maintenance corridor.

    Fun game idea: A small campaign set right after people wake up on Absalom Station during the wars.

    If Absalom is only two days away from any place then rather than trying to go somewhere that's seventy-five days away why not just go to Absalom station and then to wherever you're going from there? Wouldn't that make it going literally anywhere only four days max?

    They really made a great hub for the game with This station.

      It's so good! And even with this amazing station I still can start my players off in a "tavern" lol

    This is so so helpful! I'm going to DM for the first time and the Starfinder books are so much to consume and process, your videos are so helpful for world building, thank you so so much!

    Hey just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. I have been itching to run a Space game and just thought 5e DnD would require more Hombrew rules than I was prepared to jump through when I stumbled onto Starfinder. The more I learn about the system the more I think I will enjoy playing and running the game, and your videos are helping me to piece it together as I don't have time to really dive into this new system. Also it saddens me just how much this game isn't supported by the usual online digital places like Roll20, but it isn't gonna dissuade me and my friends from trying it. Again just wanted to thank you and any advice for a DM coming to Starfinder from 5e would be apricate, but keep up the good work it is really fantastic.

      Thank you so much! Im starting to add some videos around GMing Starfinder between my regular lore videos. There are way more rules that 5e but I never let the rules get in the way of fun.

      I use fantasy grounds unity. Hefty price for starfinder but $10 a month for unlimited license is not bad.

    • @TheMapleTable
      @TheMapleTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't know that 30 minute videos were desired :D I was always trying to keep them bite sized for convenience

      @@TheMapleTable I can only speak for myself here. But as a GM I'm constantly looking for detail on the lore of Starfinder to better understand its setting.
      Videos are also far more accessible than books, and you're far more likely to retain information from having watched and listened to it than simply having read it.
      If there's detail I want to know it.

    • @TheMapleTable
      @TheMapleTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol you're not the only one who mentioned that they would watch a 30 minute video is all. They just take twice the time to edit that im doing

    • @splitirisbear4589
      @splitirisbear4589 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheMapleTable since your channel is about keeping it short and sweet might I suggest making multiple part videos? It would give GM's the detail they might be looking for, but also the bite sized information that you specialise in making.

    Because of the Star Stone, can anyone including the Azlanti Empire find and travel to Absalom Station and arrive there in less than a week? If so, the station must be defending itself around the clock!

    • @TheMapleTable
      @TheMapleTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My understanding is yes, But the Azlanti haven't attacked... Yet. Because it's always busy there is always a huge amount of starships around the station anyway.

    Which book(s) include information on the “Click-Clack Club” and “Diamond Defense and Surplus”? Both of those sounded like good locations to use.

    My players sponsor is a dwarf that is attempting to move out of the crime scene and into the political circle.
    His mannerisms are very inspired by Disenchantments King Zogg 😉
    His club the "Harpies nest" is a favorite spot for the players although it had a very disreputable rumour for apparently employing Harpies and masquerading them as Strix erotic dancers.
    In his defense he can't tell the difference in non dwarf species gender let alone the difference between a Harpy and a Strix! Why the name though? 🙃
    You meet all sorts here! 😎

    • @TheMapleTable
      @TheMapleTable  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This sounds like a fantastic character, Zogg is a very funny character and using inspiration for this club owner, i can see why your players come back.
