If anyone is having an issues with Installation Make sure these things are disabled to make dual boot successful ..
Disable fastboot, Windows 11 bit locker, Intel Rapid Storage Technology and try.

      Hey,
Doesn't Ubuntu nowadays come with secure boot enabled (I've heard that as of now, only Ubuntu & Fedora support Secure-Boot out-of-the-box)? So can I leave the secure boot state on while dual booting Ubuntu 22.04 LTS? Also, if I'm storing Ubuntu in a separate SSD/HDD instead of partitioning the existing C Drive, do I need to turn the BitLocker off?

This is pretty good, except the recommendation to make separate / and /home partitions. That's not necessary and just sets you up for running out of space on one of them earlier than if you had used a single partition. Also I'd go for 20 gb swap. 14 gb could be too small.

The only thing is in case of secure boot being on, you need to setup an additional password for the same, rest all steps are same. hello. The only down side with that is the GRUB. Because it's a pain in back there when there are Windows updates that require a restart. Is there a way to use the windows UEFI boot loader to choose for either windows or linux, without passing through GRUB? I have a Legion 5 laptop and I want to add a new drive inside to install UBUNTU 23.10 on it. However, I haven't done that yet as I don't know if the GRUB is going to be installed. My idea is to start the computer press the F12 key and choose which drive I can start with. Do any of you guys know if that is possible? If it is, could you please point me to a video, or an article, where that process is shown? This video was nearly what I was looking for, but I got disappointed in the end because of the notorious GRUB.

I have hdd and sdd. I installed ubuntu and windows (dual boot) on sdd. But after installation I am unable to access HDD (its partition) from ubuntu. pls note that they are visible in windows. I have search a lot on the internet and found it may be the issue because of this: Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 4096 bytes. Could you help to solve this, so that i can access hdd and its data from ubuntu.

Remarkable explanation, very clear. Do you have any suggestions of what to do with Nvidia drivers that freeze the Ubuntu boot, also, do you have some vid on how to set up the recovery partition?

Will this cause any problems or errors If I switch between the OS’ too often? I’ve heard sometimes the data gets overwritten or something. Can someone confirm?

If you have a slaved drive attached, will Ubuntu just focus on install for main drive only, or do I need to unhook the slave. I am using win11

During the partition part where you have partition your ssd for ubuntu I am getting problem in that part.
I have more than 400gb of free space in my ssd but still windows is allowing me to partition only 31gb.
I am not getting any install along side with windows option.
Tried majority of forms and yt vedios to solve this issue. Do you known something about it.
I want to use ubuntu for my daily driver for development and stuff so i want more size allocated to it?
    Thanks in advance! 😄
