Very similar to the setup I'm using, but I'm using a stereo cable running back to my closet in my bedroom where I have my AV gear (and the hub). I had to use that cable, plus 2 adapters at each end to convert it back to the type of connector the hub takes in. It hasn't always been 100% stable for me (but works 95% of the time I'd say), wonder if this is a better solution. I did contact you guys about a project I have in my South FL townhouse!
Zach will this work if I use an hdmi extender with ARC? I really want to try your method but my cat 6 cable is 30 foot run. I don’t want it go up to the attic and rerun a new one if I mess up

HDMI over fiber likely due to the length of the run

Can the cat cable go through switches?
