    I dislike how people ask to subscribe and hit the bell in the beginning of the video. Let viewers have the chance to watch your video and provide their opinion AFTER they see what you have to offer. Just my 2¢ - Good Video though. Perfect case in point

    Very interested to hear what kind of performance differences there are between this and the elite. What does the lag look like for instance?

    So the 2400 can be programmed by my self? I don’t need to have a pro portal account?

    Hey Guys - any news on that Lag testing of the Harmony Elite and the Harmony Pro 2400 with the original remotes ?

  • @si12volt1
    @si12volt1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    looks like a 950 or elite only with a 2400 hub can that hub be used with the elite or 950 because you can buy a 950 and add a hub to the 950 in the software for the 950/Elite

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't tried pairing one but I could give it a shot. I don't think they sell the Hub separately though. Except for maybe replacement part. I'll check on that. But anyone who needs the full setup can call us up and we'll get them the best price

  • @john_woto

    Great video - I have had an Elite for some time now and the lag is really annoying compared with any original remote - I have done quite a bit of research on the problem and even contacted Logitech about it, but this is how its supposed to be - very frustrating when its a quality remote - In your video you mention about faster response times - Does the Harmony 2400 respond as fast as an original remote ? I haven't found any videos comparing the Elite to the Pro 2400 on response times, it would be great to see one that compares them remotes to the original remote

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey boss, that like may be more related to the hub itself. We have an elite at our store so we'll do some testing and try to get back asap.

      @@DivineAV Hey Buddy - not sure if its just the hub as i also tested the commands coming from the remote rather than the hub and it still had that lag - I read that the Harmony Pro 2400 has twice the memory than the elite - looking forward to that test will be very interested in the results

    I currently have the Harmony elite, it's okay, the light on the actual remote is too dim, the remote is very sensitive, doesn't work at all with the ps4, Bluetooth is very flaky. I am leaning toward the neo remote with control4, hopefully, you can do a comparison with that controller. great video thx!!

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah the pro model functions better. I haven't experienced those same issues with a Harmony Elite either though so I think you probably have a faulty unit. Also, on the remote itself. Hit the little settings icon and it will take you to another screen that allows you to adjust the brightness of the screen and buttons. You can brighten them up significantly

    Hello, I have two questions. First, as the Harmony Pro 2400 hub has numbered outputs for its IR's, can they be assigned to a specific device? I have multiple LG TVs next to each other but need to control only one at a time, can this device do that? Second, I am highly interested in purchasing the Harmony Pro 2400, and do you ship to California? Please let me know, thanks .

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man, those are assignable ports and they could control each TV individually if you ran an individual sensor to each TV. The issue is going to be that this remote is truly designed to control one area. It's very frustrating to me because I know the remote is capable of controlling multiple zones but they have limited that functionality in the software.
      It will only let you control one TV at a time. When you start up the second TV it will turn off the first. If you get really creative with the programming and trick the system by learning different codes into the system it's doable but it's complex and not the best solution for what you are doing.
      It would be easier to have an individual Harmony Hub for each TV. That way you just hit the "switch hubs" button in the app and have complete individual control over each TV. Good DIY solution. That would give you two assignable ports for each Hub. That means One sensor for the TV and maybe a multi-head sensor for the devices connected to that TV. We can get you a price on pre-programming multiple hubs and labeling them for you. We would have to communicate and design a game plan via email. I kind of like this solution because you will be able to reprogram and manipulate the programming yourself with the consumer design program.
      My recommendation for a custom integration solution would be to use something simple like URC complete control. An mx990 and mrf350 with professional programming would run that configuration no problem. You can have multiple TVs on the main screen that switch to multiple activities and have complete independent control over each TV. It's designed for that sort of thing and made for multiple zones. It does take a professional programmer to make it work. You could look for a custom in integrator in your area that offers this solution or we could pre-program one and send it out to you. I would need all of the devices I would need all of the model numbers to make this happen. If you need additional programming, we could use LogMeIn or something like that to make it happen.
      Other custom Integrated Solutions from a professional would be something like URC total control or control4.
      Let me know what we can do to help. Thanks

    Can you have more than one harmony remote that run the same programs in one home, basically by having 2 remotes, for each end of the home?
    If so, how can you purchase another remote and charger without having to by the hub?

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can pair one remote with a screen and another without a screen. So you can buy a Harmony companion and Link it to the pro 2400 hub. But a better solution, would probably be to just use and iPad Mini or other device such as your phone to operate using the harmony app. The reason I say that is that the range is limited on the harmony companion to about 30 feet. Thanks for watching and let us know if you need the pro 2400 and we can get one shipped out

    When you get to the AV settings, is it asking where each device is plugged into the receiver? I got tripped up on that part of the video.

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry about that. Take note of which input on the receiver you plug your devices into. Lets say you have an apple tv. You may plug that into HDMI 2. Take note of that so you can apply that setting when programming your Apple TV activity. I may do another video on this. Let me know if that clears things up a bit. Thanks for watching.
