Will Sultan Suleiman spare İbrahim's life?
Sultan Suleiman gets disturbed when İbrahim wants to leave the palace again. He endungeons him without a hesitation. As Sultan Suleiman decides about his vizier, he only shares the situation with the Sultana. İbrahim appears before Sultan Suleiman. Sultan Suleiman and İbrahim has a tense conversation. Sultan Suleiman makes an important decision about İbrahim. Meanwhile Hatice grows a hope that İbrahim is back to the palace and waits for the moment that she will get together with him. The Sultana wants to hide the truth from her. However, Hürrem tells everything happened to Hatice. Hatice reacts harshly after what she has learned.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Yes Suleiman created lbrahim and gave him too much power. He probably believed lbrahim would stay loyal to him.
Whyyyyy would Hurrem tell Hatice that Ibrahim is getting executed? Is she being spiteful, does she simply like chaos...is she trying to drive her crazy, coz we've seen the future, and Hatice becoming mad turned Hurrem into a different actress 😅

The best enemies in this franchise they were hilarious together and the fact that suleiman knows about it and just plays along because he loves them both makes it even better
I am glad Suleiman saw lbrahim’s real face before killiing him. It’s more interesting thus way.
This should have served as good lesson for lbrahim, but he never learned from his mistakes.

It was cruel of Hurrem to behave the way she did. She forgot that Hatice was her only friend when she was falsely accused of murdering Ayse hatun.
He should have ended Ibrahim here to avoid future issues
yeah it only goes downhill from here. Only one major campaign, which was against the Safavids, but basically had little long-term positives as the important city of Tabriz conquered by Suleiman and Ibrahim was given back in 1555. Not only that, Ibrahim's reputation and legacy plummeted due to his own mistakes and the manipulation of Hürrem (in show) and his enemies. Had Ibrahim died here, his time in power would've been viewed more positively.
Also wanted to note, one good thing about Selim I's constant executions was that he killed people before they became too important and popular, unlike his son Suleiman. As a result, Suleiman's 2 most notable executions, Ibrahim Paşa and Şehzade Mustafa, had negative effects on his reputation (although only a little bit)

Ibrahim Pasha's sins came back to bite him when he got captured for his treachery crimes when he wanted to go back to the hunting lodge but Suleiman Sultan, the Great Khan had other plans for Ibrahim Pasha. 😮

Yes Suleiman was responsible but so were many others. If they had treated Hurrem with respect and not tried to kill her a lot probably wouldn’t have happened. Also they had no problem using Ibrahim’s power to their advantage against Hurrem. So everyone is to blame

Suleiman Sultan was sparing his friend/brother in-law's life and Ibrahim Pasha betrayed Suleiman Sultan a bunch of times in the beginning and middle of the Magnificent Century show.
Hatice Sultana Pasha's fears came true when she was living a nightmare of her own when she questioned Hurrem Sultana about her husband's whereabouts at Hatice Sultana's home.
The dream will become reality and a tear will come out of his eyes when realising that haseki sultan, a "woman", won him
