@@efa666 With TAS? That’s a good question. Not to mention a good possibility. That’s the exciting part about researching some of these runs. To see what else might be possible. Even if it just simply a variation of movement, it may save time.
Actually this is Biohazard, the original Japanese version of Resident Evil. People hardly mention this original name. The subtitles in the original run faster, making the speedrun faster.
Yes. Some zombies play dead when they spawn, and their heads will even turn to look towards you when laying down if you get close enough. They typically do this when you're attacking them, they fall down but don't get killed. It's more obvious in later RE versions that have auto-aim, so you can check with R1/rb/aim to instantly look at them
Keşke kapı geçiş animasyonlarını kaldırsaydınız edit yaparak.. izlemesinden nefret ederim.. ayrıca bu oyun dünyada yapılmış en iyi korku oyunu bence.. 1996 yılına göre müthiş....
Problem we have is that when every other aspect of the game is executed so efficiently, most of what's left is unskippable door opening screens, and that most certainly is boring to watch. From 32:44 to 32:55 for example, eleven seconds. For five steps. It just kills the pacing and would be unforgivable by today's standards.
Keep in mind this was the first time Western audiences experienced a survival horror game. When a game is new and you have no idea where to go or what to do, it's scary stuff.
I disagree. Games weren't critiqued no where near as much back then, and your first time playing I appreciated the animation, it gave me time to gather my shit from the last scene and added suspense.

The dialogue is divine.
Real gem, thank you
The master of unlocking
Would definitely love to see a Knife-Only, Kill-All TAS run of ANY Resident Evil title, even the remakes.
I would love to see anything and everything in TAS form.
Turns out, Chris TASes don't exist yet. Would be nice to see.
Hold up, seriously?! 😳
Strangely on the regular leaderboards Chris is faster, maybe in a TAS Jill has more RNG potential?

Best ending? Where's Rebecca?
Rebecca is not present in Jill's story, the same way Barry is not in Chris'
Ah, okay. I could've sworn they still showed up in the FMV, but I guess not.
Wait til the sega genesis resident evil come out it will be better then this😊

I hate Resident Evil 1 because I can't kill the enemies. I keep dying just at the beginning.

@@ELKvideoify I think the door scenes aren't bad when playing the game as they help build suspense and tension a lot, actually :P
