Bro I'm sure you're right about hwoarang at the high level but down here with the red ranks this man is a menace to society.

For sure because most red ranks are casuals

Trust me 90% of Hwoarangs run 1 game like a in-game NPC in a RPG they literally hand you games you just have to stay calm .

@@Laudplays i play Hwo in in purple and i almost dropped him because honestly if you just duck you will nullify his pressure. With a weakness that obvious i did not want to play Hwo 😂

At the 16:50 time frame, there’s a point you overlooked. While yes after the 3,4 the next attack is a high, however that high extension recovers really fast. You have to preemptively read the high otherwise they’ll block in time and you can get 12f punished for the launch attempt. Also if you hesitate for a fraction of a second, the high extension could trade with your launch attempt.
I can visually tell that launch wouldn’t say “punish” if you had the properties window open. I challenge anyone to do that string setup in practice mode and see how often you’ll see “punish” with a 15f launch. Now try that in a real match offline, or even worse in an online match. Good luck lol

@@Str8OuttaBostonTK Technically before the last patch, you would've been right that D3, 4 recovers fast. However after the last patch, D3, 4 has been nerfed to make it more punishable whether on whiff or block. Launching after the high 4 without trading blows depends on the character's launch frames speed.

TFW it’s easier than you think but it takes a 40 minute guide to show why it’s “easy” lol

Nah eddy is way more spam then Hworang. I mean eddy is random spam so you really cant get a read on what's next or when it's your turn. Hworang you can usually see a pattern or repeated strings within the same match and duck. Plus i also feel like eddy's spam has a lot of keep out built into it were you get knocked down then need to re-approach eddy. Hworang would like to keep you standing to poke at and needs to stay closer.

I appreciate the video still watching it15 minutes in but so far i feel like everything is muvh easier said than done i tend to find when i am fighting a hwo they are pressing every button in the world and i cannot punish any move they throw out seems safe and when i do finally get to pressure i will get hit by a armour move which will then lead into a hit on the floor then i get up into either getting launched or hit with his low launcher hwos which know what they are doing are some of the most annoying tekken players to fight and whike the video gives a little insight for me i doubt its going to help me much unfortunately

@@LexisWright I think I should've also mentioned certain attacks patterns/strings that Hwo mains like to use, but I thought just breaking down the moves was enough. Backlash is an armor move used a lot when Hwo mains end up in right stance that's +5 on block but can be ducked. Any of his other power crush moves are punishable. Fortunately, there is hope for you because since T8 has added online practice mode you can practice against players without time limit. So if you have any Hwoarang friends, I would try practicing with them or, if not, you can practice with me. I'm on Xbox and discord and my YT name is the same on both, so feel free to add me if you want to practice together.
