Took your advice from the previous video and changed my focus from winning matches to learning more of hwoarang's toolkit slowly but surely. At the end of the day winning or losing is just the result, learning the game and this cool at character is the goal.
Which one is the best guide on hwoarang for absolute beginners for him? Your videos are amazing. Played tekken 7 and many others before but never got super in depth just some combos, looking to start my hardcore journey and figure he’s a good character to really get to know over the coming years. Your videos are a godsend for people like me. Thank you so much
@@swankygamez69420 perfect I’m already subscribed so I’ll see. Just getting into the strings and this video for the time being. So much appreciated for your time and effort
This is super in-depth, super basic, and helpful. I have some questions though (Tekken 8's my first fighting game) Am I supposed to use these moves as you've mentioned them or make them into what others call "flowcharts" and memorize those? This seems like a HUGE list (even if you've whittled Hwo's 160~ moves into 30~ manageable moves)... am I supposed to memorize the whole thing or does at some point all of this just become second nature? Am I supposed to "think of what to use" during the time I'm blocking? Can I make these flowcharts for my own offense turn (and memorize them until these things become instinctive for me) and then on my defense turn try and think about what to use to A) punish my opponent; or B) take my turn for offense back from my opponent ??
All I was trying to say is sometimes when you spend your time pressuring your opponent, you can end up becoming predictable or getting to a point where you can’t find a spot to stop cuz you’re afraid that as soon as you stop you’ll get hit, & even if you have + frames, your opponent may not respect it & try to interrupt, so if you take a second to take a breath or think about what you want to do next you may end up blocking something your opponent was going to throw out or just straight up catch them off guard
Apologies for the invites during ur recording 🤦♂ Nevertheless, really loved the video. You've got a really good foundation of videos for hwo, you've covered a lot throughout them which is really cool - defo a lot of content to go back and watch and lab. Would you be able to let us in on any plans for upcoming hwo videos, if any?
I mean I have the full Hwoarang breakdown that I eventually want to do, it’s a bigger project that’s taking longer than I’d like for it to be. N don’t stress, I don’t mind the invites, send me an invite anytime, some times I may have to ignore it but that’s the worst of it but if I have time I love ggs

Yeah, I 100% agree. You might lose a few extra for now but later on you'll ultimately lose less.
Love your stuff man very in depth, and you just sound chill and can tell you love the game and character keep it up
I try, that’s all I can do. N it’s a character I appreciate, I like his shtick if that makes sense without writing a book about it, lol.
Hey man I’m new at tekken this is my 2nd week playing the game and thanks to your videos I’m in vanquisher rank, keep up the good content
I’m glad I can help, also that’s high for 2 weeks, I created the guide but you’re putting in the work, congrats & keep it up.

These are just move suggestions, you can use as many or as few that look interesting to you as you like. I was just showing examples

Give us a beginner guide for Steve,Law or devil Jin (any of those options would be nice lol)
That’s doable.
can you do a video on ground combos for hwoarang
Define ground combos. I have a guide for basic combos but if you mean like his pressure stuff I have a guide for that to
