Congrats! I remember when you first announced you were going to train to be a pilot, and I'm really glad to hear it went well. Any frequency of uploads would be appreciated, some of my favorite channels only upload once every month, or even longer. Putting quality over quantity may not rake in the most ad revenue or views, but I appreciate it. I agree that keeping a channel (started in "free time" or out of "boredom", a "void to fill", etc.) active during full-time employment is a challenge. But I also enjoy your response that you feel flight/airline-related is being covered sufficiently - and that there is still a need to produce vintage PC-related content.

I have pretty much ditched the whole retro computer hobby, it took my money then left a bunch of crap around i need to go through. So i had also ditched all my computer related subs ( with few exceptions) and had moved on, as i thought you had to. Imagine my delight when i fired up you tube and i get a suggestion for your channel. Im so happy to see you are making videos again, your channel will become a part of my very few subs for this topic. I'll watch any thing you make, well....not ANYTHING...but you get my point. Honestly my wife saw it on the news and told me I should apply. But now basically every airline has a cadet program, so you can just search for any airline name and "cadet program" and you should find the web site where you can apply, if the application window is currently open.

Thanks for watching all this time! Well there's just nothing new to tell about that game... it hasn't changed in any noticeable way and I've still never actually opened the sealed box. I haven't don't anything with the way it's packaged either; I keep thinking of mounting it in a shadowbox or something but I just don't really have a good idea for how.
I still have it but I've recently replaced it for the new job. I can't be lugging a giant 6 lb. laptop like that around everywhere. I bought it as a desktop replacement and it served me well for that purpose for 7-8 years. Still works fine, but it's just sitting on my coffee table now. I use an ASUS Rog Flow X13 currently, which is a great little machine, and extremely powerful and versatile for the $999 I paid for it. (I'm typing this on it in my hotel room right now.) Perfect for someone who travels a lot.

Congratulations on getting into the airline game. It is exciting. I would assume right now that you have a contract to fulfill at your current airline, but if you are feeling like the schedule doesn't suit you, cargo is an option. I've done both and getting large chunks of time off with cargo flying makes the commuting way better. Just generally less stressful and allows you to live the life you want outside of work.
Nope no contract. I'm not locked in. The main thing that's going to keep me where I am for a while, though, is just the need to build experience. I went from flying Piper Seminoles straight to flying A320's. So I don't think anybody else would hire me quite yet unless I were to downgrade to a regional, which would be no advantage. But when I have a little more experience I might look at some options. The biggest thing I want is to just live in base, which currently narrows it down to just a few airlines (I think one or more of the cargo airlines might have a base here, but it's UPS or FedEx and they're not gonna hire me for a while).

When I did ATC training, I hated the a320 and a321 because for some reason in the simulation, their climb rates were the worst.
The 321 is kind of a dog. The 320 is pretty good, though, unless it's loaded up.

Neither! I only drink Sauvignon Blanc at this point. Red wine doesn't agree with my body anymore, even though I love the taste.
