It's You is one of my favorite songs, it's just perfect. This Is Love is also a work of art, for me the only flaw is that Yesung did not participate in the song . I think you would like to see a SuJu Guide, it will probably be a very long video, but it will be worth it.

He may not be Suju's maknae, but he's definitely their baby. Their actual maknae is Kyuhyun with Ryeowook (the short one) is their eternal maknae (Kyuhyun got added to the group later, replacing Wookie as the youngest).
Also can I just say I love how much you can appreciate and embrace the cheese that is 2nd and early 3rd gen kpop; it truly is a marvel

Basically, the common denominator of the groups you stan (esp EXO, Shinee, Seventeen, Soshi) is suju 😆 if you want to take a break from reacting music stuff , I recommend reacting to Super Generation/Super Seventeen moments or SM Family videos. They're really fun to watch 🥰
The one in the cow hat is Kim Heechul. He has a few songs with his friend from knowing bros (a show). My favorite one is falling blossom. The song and the video are beautiful.

super junior never disappoints, it's you is my favorite song, and Superman is a song that almost literally tells you "we are the ones in charge here and they put up with the haters" I understand the feeling of not knowing that while he is there or if some faces are not recognized, I met super junior in 2020 and I was really confused, but after informing me of EVERYTHING he has past these men, I can only say that I am proud that they stand up 💙
For me... Donghae and Siwon, both give this kind of masculine vibe, they're so attractive (I mean, all SJ members are attractive, but I can assure you the SiHae are stan attractors lol)

So glad you are continuing to learn about SJ. They were my introduction to Kpop in 2011. Heechul is, and has always been, my most ultimate bias of all the groups I follow. His journey has been nothing less than epic. I love his singing voice even though it is not a typical idol voice. He is absolutely worth getting to know. His wit is savage and his variety show appearances are always amazing. Yesung is my other SJ bias (he is the one that usually does all the background runs/vocals). His voice is also unusual for Kpop, but is so warm and beautiful. Super Junior's story is one well worth diving into. I look forward to more as I appreciate your honest reactions.

I truly think you'd like "Hot Times" by SM The Ballad. Kind of a sub/super group within SM. Just pulled artists from their groups. It is a supreme vocal flex. Hot Times had Jonghyun, Kyuhyun, Jinho (now in Pentagon) and Jay (Rock band in SM called TRAX).

It's You is soo good! Such a throwback. A-CHA always reminds me of something F(x) could have come out with. Heechul is the guy you like and pointed out at the start of the Superman music video! He does a lot of variety show stuff nowadays. I would recommend for some fun/silly Super Junior music videos to watch Pajama Party (which i think features Sunny in the MV), Happiness, and Super Boy or Rokoko.
yup .Supeeman is an anthem song of SJ..it's definitely not for a typical listen to playlist or something.. I enjoy it much when I watch them perform it & we think u'll appreciate it better.. I don't really have it on my dialy playlist either.. well, d classy SJ started in 2014..but d suits was 1st in Sorey, Sorry 2009..but it became consistent since Mr. Simple 2011 til present.. what I really appreciate & luv bout them is that even they do challenge concepts, they alwys consistemt to tehir general sound..1st half of career pribably is more on d youthful side since they were young,2nd half is more mature but generally has 5ha5 real or subtle funky side.. ppa react to U, Spy, Magic & One More Time.. but if u r looking for d real fun bops..it's mostly on d b-side tracks w/c r a blast in their super shows ..to nake a few; Shirt, Scene stealer, Spin Up & more..maybe, u'd b interested to see their sub-units..K.R.Y. & D&E for example..

Probably the nicest thing about getting into Super Junior even this late is that they are still continuously touring unlike most of the 2nd gen groups. Their 9th World Tour (hopefully? Lol) is starting this year and it's nice that even for newer fans they still have a chance to hear these masterpieces live. I have been a fan of Super Junior since I was in elementary school and it took me 9 full years before I could attend their concert and all that stuff, Super show 8 was the best of all Supershows because the setlist was full of their classics unlike the other supershows. Hopefully you get to attend one someday. A super show concert is a must if you're a kpop fan. The experience is just awesome.

im still not done watching but i just gotta say that i feel you when you said you won't be able to concentrate if you discovered suju in 2011 because that's the year i became a fan. everyday when i get home from school i would open my computer and watch their music video and funnily enough, A-CHA is the song that made me a fan lmao the first song i heard from them was sorry sorry and mr. simple but a-cha sealed the deal for me.
superman sounds better live imo. it's a concert staple (both in their concert and in smtown concerts) i think you would have a lot of fun diving into their b-sides as it is very diverse and ofc their live performance are good too.

Super Junior give me joy!!! Didn't like Superman at first, now I adore it. The only thing wrong with This is Love is it has no YESUNG. I know its all about the songs for you but mother of God they are the kings of variety too Chaotic. I Think I and Magic are the ones for me as in songs!!!!!!

"Oops" - It's a satire/joke-y back and forth call kind of song between them and f(x)! It's stupid af and you need the eng lyrics. No MV but you can find the live version from SM's concert with the lyrics if you want to see them together!
"Ahora Te Puedes Marchar" - They did an exact cover of the famous Spanish song by Luis Miguel. I'm talking they sing in Spanish, dress like him down to the hair, and recreate the music video angle by angle. SNSD's Yuri is the main girl in the MV! Honestly it's amazing to watch, somebody did a split screen of the OG and their's and it's honestly uncanny. It's so dumb but so good???

Suju are at their best, and feel happy, when performing live in their concerts, called Super Show. The last one before pandemic was Super Show 8, and they will again have SS9 starting this coming July. I can't wait to attend it in my country, my first suju concert since I became their fans during the pandemic era.

Yes! Super Junior has introduced me to the world of kpop, my journey started w/ them, for me, all SM artists are the best (visuals, vocals, choreo)!
Superman is the anthem of SJ and the lyrics is about their effort and achievement. The 5th album with Superman is also the album starting the period that SJ members gradually served mandatory military service as Kangin is the first member (He was in hiatus since 2016, left group in 2019)

SuJu is a wonderfully talented group. They were trained to sing, dance, act, host, do variety shows, etc....kind of like the first NCT because they were supposed to be a rotating group; except the public loved them so much they became a permanent group. Their first album is called Super Junior 5 because that number was supposed to change with every graduating "class". Of course, being from SM, they can all sing, dance and are visuals. Their greeting still includes saying the number 5, a greeting they admitted they took from SM first generation Shinhwa and added a twist. LOL
SuJu was a 13 men group and was the first to have so many members. They had the first foreign member, Chinese Hangeng, in k-pop. Unfortunately, Korea wasn't ready for foreigners to be celebrities in Korea at the time. Suju was also the first group to create subunits. They even had a trot subunit. LOL Their main vocal line, K.R.Y. is considered one of, if not the best, in the second generation.
The amount of members is very confusing when you watch their MVs; even moreso than EXO. I do believe they are down to 9 from 13. Some left on their own, others were forced out because of certain actions, etc. and unlike other second generation groups that went into hiatus during the military years, SuJu kept on making new albums and continued touring. That's why certain members weren't involved in certain songs and don't really know them except for their much earlier, pre-military songs. It took them 10 years to finish their military service.
Like how EXO hates "Lucky One' because of the choreo, Suju hate "Spy" and like to pretend they've never heard of the song because of the choreo. EXO because the choreo is hard on their bodies, especially their joints. Suju is because the choreo is so complicated and so many members were in the military that they can't do the choreo properly.
I know a lot of second generation songs had some serious autotune but the good thing is that when they preformed the songs live, there was much less autotuned so the songs are better i.e. Shinee with Ring, Ding, Ding.
