We are living in the golden age of canister shells. Pretty much any kit is going to at least be good to very good. With more and more being outstanding. Good stuff.
I gotta say - fireworks companies have really been bringing it with the shells this year. I've seen so many awesome looking shell kits - it's hard to choose which ones to get. And you've got kits with tails, mines, willows - just about anything a person could want. Sometimes I complain about bottle rockets and jumping jacks not being as good now as they were when I was a little kid - but we also didn't have stuff like this. I guess the trade off is totally worth it. Haha. Fireworks rule.

I would love to see another canister shell comparison video but with Neon shells. We carry the black label 5" neon super shells but have had things like neon rage in the past. I am really curious to see how the black label 5" super shells compare to new products on the market and to see what 4" neon shells would be worth carrying. Hopefully you'll make a video of this soon!

I know locally one of our fireworks stores sells 3 of these, they are all around $145, to $157. One not shown is Diablo by Black Cat, they're about $150 at my local store. But they're amazing.

When I use the tightly packed tube racks, I make a tube of blue painter's tape to protect from fuse jumping. Just bear in mind the tape will burn as the fuse travels through it! Nice touch with the wide angle, it makes it much easier to judge break size. 😊
Excalibur has completely fallen off. 7 or more years ago they completely dominated the reloadable market, in the last 3 years theyve been meh and the price is still outrageous
Those Darts, Zippers at the tent I get them from here in KS World Class believe, are my absolute favorite firework. I also like to wait till the end of the fuse and chuck them in the air for even more fun. Sent one straight down the street once.

The platinum Excalibur were my favorite. I have been using Excalibur for a long time, but they seem to not go as high as they used to now. The platinum ones definitely don't go as high, but they were very consistent and have a nice burst.
Seemed like the Dominator and the Power Packed shells had more stars packed in, and the Super Wave 5" and the Excalibur Platinum had more boom packed in. All of the shells were great though, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Great vid. The wide angle is what helped me make up my mind. Way better perspective. And I agree with some of the commentors that the 5" Super Wave definitely gave Excal Plat a run for their money and surpassed with some shells. At the current price difference I can get 4 24pks of 5" Super wave for the same as 3 of the Excal Plat. It's a no brainer. Mix in some Rain Fire from Winda and maybe some Holy Nishiki and wow.......

I recommend just going to the next state. That's what I do. But I'm in a kind of out of the way rural area. No one including the police cares here. Fireworks laws should go by area not state. It depends on where you live.
It really kind of depends on where you are. And honestly how far it is to the closest reasonable state. If your in the middle of a town or something you can't do it anyway. For me it's maybe 20 minutes to the closest real fireworks store. For me it's well worth it. If I go to a big fireworks show then I sit there all day and sweat my butt off and pay 20 bucks for one lunch and then sit and wait for 2 hours to leave. Or I can do it at home and have more fun and grill whatever or smoke meat or something for anyone who wants to come. It's a better time for everyone.
