The double mini can version goes for about $110 in my area, so i'm really doubting the $180 dollar price point cody says he paid for it "quite some time ago."

Boomer is the budget line of the Cutting Edge/World Class family. Almost exclusively put in assortments, but occasionally see 200g cakes solo, along with fountains and novelties. I don't think they even make 500g cakes in the Boomer line.

Kellners used to sell a couple different reloadable fountain kits, back when PA was SnS only. So did Phantom. It IS a neat idea. Performance is like regular fountains: ie some are meh, some are pretty good, and some are really nice. Depends on who makes em, and if they're cheapies or not. Yours looked to have performance labels on them. I've seen some amazing performances out of small packages like that, and WC/Boomer have really stepped up their fountain game in the last decade or so. Keep your fingers crossed! FWIW, Boomer has two 3-packs of base fountains on blister pack cards intended to be hung up. One is called Sparkling lights, the other Adrenaline rush( or something like that.) Don't hesitate to buy them! Very good performers, and usually priced very reasonably. Sparkling Lights has all the color and fx in them- they're quite pretty, and last a good amount of time. The other Adrenaline something are loud crackling fountains. Color and plenty of loud crackle! When I see them, I always grab a couple of packs for fun shooters.

I have been buying and shooting off fireworks for over 30+ years and I have NOT once found a good assortment package. Only a cake assortment is worth the money. I have seen a few good ones on your channel I think by SFX fireworks and another one I can't think of the name.
I don’t think the companies are going to listen lol. Firework fanatics are not the main target , the average joe is. Money, money, money. But they should listen. It’s time to start your own business, with products with your specific quality standards.
World Class has been going down hill for the past few years. And Boomer is always in with the Assortments from Jake's Fireworks, which is the World Class Distributor. But I could tell you weren't happy with that Assortment. Lol😂

Those reloadable fountains remind me of some TNT “Rockets” I bought thinking they would go up as a rocket but was only a fountain.
