Spider Lily in the mist- painting process

Here is my personal project Spider Lily series
It is nice to have some down time do some small personal works. Hope you like it.

00:45 sketch
00:49 merge and multiply
00:52 overlay and use purple skin
00:57 lighteen for light source
01:00 linear dodge a little for light source
01:05 add orange on normal layer a little for skin base
01:15 adding dept to the skin and adding blue purple color for realistic color skin variation (orange, purple, blue) until 02:52 everithing is rendering as 01:15 technique. Every rendering is on normal layer.
03:05 adding some cloudy effect 21:58 top background layer adjustmen so the caracter not get erase.

Damn.. I never break it down like this, just go for it and it usually works out. Everyone has a different process and overthinking it might slow you down

@@forropodo5874 there are tools in photoshop to do that in one click maybe he did that, or you may do manually too

​@@Breaksticks01 yeah maybe youre right. But bochen first step is the most usefull process and i fall in love with it so i create the time stamp. I want to learn from him but he doesn't open the class yet. Or maybe he did idk. I hope he will open the class soon
