I love the fact that she's learning new things and showing them to us. For people like me, Rochelle already seems so expert, but she gets excited about new skills and techniques.
She is the perfect fit with Becky and Kelsey, Her creativity and craft add just the right counterpoint to the team. And best of all, like them, she is completely unpretentious.
Rochelle has such a beautiful way of explaining things with technical terms without making me feel stupid 😂 I feel like im on facetime with her! Shes an amazing addition to the sorry girls
Yes, she's great at that. Showing how the circular saw cuts differently front and back was something I never knew. And I loved her discussion of mitered (mitred?) vs beveled.
I love Rochelle's projects! I'm sending a link to this video to my Uncle Paul, who is 78 and has worked at Home Depot the past 25 years. He's very helpful, as well!
I love that TSG shows mistakes as well! It makes these projects feel more attainable to people who don't have a lot of experience. Always happy when they post!
Ok, so this format of a Rochelle build video that gives us s sneak peek to a sorry girls make over is 👩🏾🍳😘❣️ We get a GREAT how to build and I get excited about the whole makeover cause I HAVE to see what you do with what was built!
Rochelle is that girl!! The results came out sooo good! I’ve been watching TSG for 10yrs I’m so proud so see how the team has evolved. Rochelle, your woodworking skills + personality makes a huge impact on this channel 🫶🏽 looking forward to more builds!!
Parifin wax works best for the drawer slides. As a fellow woodworker, I am impressed. I love how you cover the very basic basics so that new creators understand better. Well done!
I utterly love this current format where we get a big video with the whole team and a more focused video where Rochelle gets to show us her incredible woodworking skills and we get so many details on these more complicated diys. Great job, team TSG!
Rochelle, you are an AMAZING master carpenter!! And those 45 degrees angles in the drawer boxes, were a happy accident! You didn’t mention it at the end, but it gave the drawers a super elegant finish! Congratulations!
I have to say I really had no idea what the heck you were talking about most of the time, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching you do it all! You are amazing! What a treasure you are!!
You did it again! This looks like one of those expensive headboard/nightstand combinations you find at designer furniture stores. It's elegant and functional. Rochelle, you're amazing! And I love how you turned a mistake (making that first bevel cut) into a design improvement. The drawers look great in their angled boxes. Though honestly, I love the layered look of plywood in an angle like that and didn't feel it needed edge banding.
tip for edge banding: it’s so helpful to use an ‘edge trimmer’, you can get the at Lee Valley :) it’s got two edges and you squeeze it right across to trim the edges… I do a lot of it! beautiful work 🙌
Is there anything Rochelle cannot do. This seemed like a master workshop in woodworking ….i learnt so many new things even though I have been watching diy’s for so long…..😊😊😊
Such a wonderful design and presentation Rochelle! You have such a engaging and bright personality! I just found this channel! Thanks for helping me reconnect with my joy for home decor and interior design, I used to love watching HGTV. I have been looking at videos on TH-cam about self-care and hobbies like Diane in Denmark, who on her Friday videos gives four self-care assignments like create a cozy nook or listen to music. Love the dance at the start! Makes me want to dance, will probably do Gina B from the channel Up To the Beat Fit, Tina Turner Dance party workout or her divas walking workout! Kennedy from the channel Cozy K mentioned reading magazines as a hobby and these videos are like a home and garden magazine. Morgan Harper Nichols has a quote/affirmation that says " I am making room for things that heal my heart." and these videos are helping to bring joy!
The "happy accident" of the beveled front of the mounted nightstands is the vibe they needed. Matching the grain on the under-bed storage drawers takes them to the next level. Well done.
Rochelle has such great camera presence & her voice is so pleasant. I really find it easy to follow her detailed instruction. She's quickly becoming my favorite sorry girl team member.
Another incredible project by Rochelle!! Thank you for showing all the BTS struggles as well, it's so helpful to know it doesn't always go to plan. Can't wait to see this bedroom makeover!
I love the different vibes each Sorry Girl gives. You are all so talented and i enjoy Kelsey's Making Home, and Becky's 70s house. Rochelle makes these seriously amazing furniture works of art and Rachel-- i just can't wait to see what she makes over next for her charity Project Profit!!!!!! So fun. Thanks for the many hours of educational and pleasant viewing!
Rochelle is so bad ass. I’m so happy she is part of the team, I love how good she is at teaching and explaining things. I see she is a fan of Ramsey, definitely has his style of teaching, I love it!!! 😂
Omg. THANK YOU, Rochelle for enlightening me with the existence of a digital angle gauge. The ways in which this would have saved many of my DIY wood projects cut on a crippling garage foundation. You should add a link for one, if ya’ll get throwback$ for that. :)
Thank you for working thru issues on this project and showing us that it's not a perfect process. I watch too many shows that set me up for feeling down about all the bumps in the road that I encounter when doing projects. All the tips and tricks are great! The unintentional angled drawer fronts are very cool. That bed is amazing!
Rochelle is amazing. I really like the bevelled look. And collaborating with Becky and Kelsey? Three amazing women. So glad you made her a Sorry Girl. I could watch her all day. More videos!
Rochelle you are amazing!!! I love the in-depth explanations you do and how you talk about what everything means and is instead of glossing over it. Every time I watch the videos you do I feel like I learn so much.
Wow what an inspiration 😍 I would LOVE to see more of Rochelle woodworking videos. I’m beginning to get into woodworking and she explains everything in such a digestible way while also giving great ideas throughout it all
Rochie, you are amazing. Beautiful finished product, but the best part was how you brainstormed when confronted with challenges!!! You are also an outstanding teacher. I feel smarter every time I watch your videos. ❤️2U
I love this new direction you’ve been going to show a smaller, more in depth diy that’s part of a larger diy or room upgrade! Well done, Rochelle. The beveled drawer fronts look amazing ❤
For a rich brown stain similar to provincial but warmer, try Early American. It’s a beautiful warm medium stain :) I refinished my oak table in Early American and it’s really nice. Also works beautifully on pine.
Rochelle is beautiful whatever she’ll do but I’m always happy to see her we her beautiful curls!!!! I’m on my journey to bringing back my curls and she’s very encouraging to me🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I love learning things from Rochelle and the sorry girls. I failed woodshop in highschool. However, I'm starting to build a toolbox and do home improvements around my house thanks to you. Y'all gave me confidence to know that I can learn how power tools work and to use them safely and correctly (unlike my past self in woodshop)
Emergerd..I pointed out that Pony Clamp to my husband on Monday!!!! Would love to see more videos of tools worth purchasing for starting some small projects like organization and shelves. Love your addition to the gang!
Gorgeous! Just thought you might like to know a tip my grandma told me for those types of drawer pulls, use soap on them. Works even better than wax, is cheaper and you always have it on hand. So when I say soap, I mean bar soap. Like plain white hard dial soap. 😊
The angled drawer fronts sold it for me. Even tho they were unintentional they totally sold the look! So excited for next weeks vid! Great Job Rochelle!
First of all I love the look of this and the creativity involved in troubleshooting all the different things. Rochelle is a genius! My only concern is that there would be too much movement if you roll over (or other activities?) in bed, and it might knock or shift a little. Perhaps some strategically-placed felt pads between the original bed frame and the addition would help if this is / becomes an issue. But honestly, I live for Rochelle and am always amazed by her brain! So cool!
I feel like Rochelle is going to have her own hand made furniture company in 5- 10 years
👀👀
I love the fact that she's learning new things and showing them to us. For people like me, Rochelle already seems so expert, but she gets excited about new skills and techniques.

Yes, she's great at that. Showing how the circular saw cuts differently front and back was something I never knew. And I loved her discussion of mitered (mitred?) vs beveled.

omg...Hi uncle Paul!! 💞 Thanks for watching!
So he's another wonderful Paul at the hardware supply store!
@@TamarLitvot Yes, exactly! I want him to hear how all Pauls at hardware stores are great!
The first cut was such a happy accident. The nightstands look so amazing with the angle it became a design feature for sure.
Great job Rochelle!
Couldn't agree more!
I love that TSG shows mistakes as well! It makes these projects feel more attainable to people who don't have a lot of experience. Always happy when they post!

So nice to see Justin on camera!!

Best out of context moment... "She's in, she's tied up, let's go"😂

Rochelle's woodworking skills 👌. This girl needs a channel of her own

Yay, Rochelle! You are an advanced builder, very elegant construction. And I loved the hairdo switchup.

I love the inclusion of the names of the songs Rochelle is singing. She has an amazing voice and I might have to look up some of those songs
Rochelle, you are so darn smart!! The design for this headboard is so clever. It came out absolutely brilliantly!!

I refinished my oak table in Early American and it’s really nice. Also works beautifully on pine.
Kelsey has the breaker song, feels like it’s time for Rochelle to have a wood shopping time spotlight jingle or themed banner. 🤣🤣
Good eye! That second coat of stain made all the difference. I appreciate how you show your f-ups.
