I saw this and thought it looked strange too, doesn't make much sense why someone would try to tank the value of a card as opposed to pump it up. If you scroll further on the past transactions there is another 10 or so at that $18 mark again. I figured the card would be around $75 or so given the current market.
I was just looking at paradox rift singles and noticed that, I'm sure the fake listings are going to get dropped very quickly and market correction will kick in. not a single verified seller is going for less than 62 so it's clearly a poor manipulation attempt
Seems like some shady person listed a bunch super cheap to drop the market price, and now when new people come to list and click “match market”, that same shady person will buy all these new copies super cheap and completely clear out the market so the card all of a sudden goes back to 60 bucks.
Definitely a bold new strategy from someone sneaky. Haven’t seen a buyout done like this before . But roaring moon is a very precarious card. It’s been over 100 bucks at points, so it’s technically very “undervalued” even at 60 bucks, it’s from a set that’s going up in value, has eyes on it because of the prismatic version that just came out, and is actually pretty hard to pull because the set it’s from is so huge. Fun stuff. Love content like this !
@@Theu131 Yup I found the culprit. Seller is melsell out of Florida who has 0 feedback and is listing copies one at a time for $18.00 and has done it 19 times so far and now market price is $28 but hopefully nobody falls for it. I want to try and purchase one from this seller at $18 when he list another and see if it don't get canceled, for educational purposes only LOL
@@halo32133 e felt the sane when it was over $100 and the most expensive in the set but when it dropped to $45 I got it for my son since he liked it. I definitely bought more copies of Groudon. I believe in that card over Roaring Moon

@@alielmalky6168 paradox is the next set I am completing for my sons binder. We finished from S&V base to 151. After paradox it’s Paldean the temporal
@@Top_Loaded_JRGS77 I wish you and your kid luck, those are all super fun sets to collect even if packs are getting harder to come by haha

These could also be alt language (chinese/korean/spanish) sales from a new seller
Looks like they fixed it? I’m not seeing that drastic cliff on tcgplayer anymore
I was just on my portfolio and noticed this as well… thanks for the extra info cause I was so confused 😂
Its a shit card tbh lol
