Well said man. Glad there are other people out there that are smart like you. Not paying over msrp either gonna wait and find a dealer that wants to earn my business.
I'm thinking about an Elantra N. The type R is already pricey for a civic. This stealership greed has to hurt the Honda brand. At the end of the day it's just a civic.
Unfortunately. You're correct. However if it's your dream car is the way to go because as my civic proves. It'll last half your lifetime lol. Still doesn't justify markup. Thanks for watching! 😁
Nice man can't wait for the update on the civic. I just got a FL5 in sgp. It's a nice car I will say that. After a 10k markup..its a hardsell once you start to drive it and the honeymoon phase is over. Coming from the 11the gen Si, I feel like that will be the better buy, especially once used prices on them fall.
Dude! SGP is the best looking for the hatch imo. Yeah the markup is sinful. The honeymoon wears off the quicker the miles rack up. Thanks for watching! 😁
Never worth paying markup. That’s why I’ll probably buy a Miata. The “Club” trim is only by special order which means you are pretty much guaranteed MSRP. Plus if you sign up for the SCCA you can get a $1,500 discount on the Miata
The sad part is a $9k markup is not that bad. The other sad part is the civic and integra type r from late 90s early 2k were the sports car for everyone, now they are for who has the most money. Times have really changed. At $40k great car, when it starts getting towards $50k+ people start looking at other cars and that’s truly what kills a car.
@@PhatMikeSP1 Well, I'd say, if the cats aren't being market up more people would potentially buy them many lower cost to build. You make a good point as well.

I believe the people who pay over msrp hurt sports car sales and the buyers the cars are particularly intended to target. Thanks for watching! 😁
If this looming recession hits like economists are predicting just remember the dealers that were charging markups.
Exactly! They know people will spend money regardless.
Thanks for watching! 😁

I agree. Not worth paying mark up.
Yeah. Unfortunately some will always pay it, still. Thanks for watching! 😁

Yeah I'd say paying markup enables dealers. The newest Miata LOOKS SO GOOD. Thanks for watching! 😁
Happy Holidays! Honda civic content is up next. 😁
Thanks for the upload! How many miles do you have on your civic now?
Looking forward to it!
@@johnjay3414 650k in the OD! Big surprise coming to the channel 😁
🚫DEALER MARKUP🚫
It's a no no! Thanks for watching! 😁
9k isn't bad I thought they was gonna markup like 20k
Compared to the numbers I've heard, 9k is like getting rebates lol. However, paying any markup justifies dealers having it imo. Thanks for watching! 😁
