Just flew AF premium economy CDG-Seoul. Economy was 500€; PE 820€ ( and extra for luggage) . Departing bit delayed because of a technical issue, changing to another B-777 with different seating. This was with the not so good seats. Return was with the good seats. Could really sleep for hours. Staff is very professional. IFE works great. And the noise canceling head phones are tremendous. In the go, the ordered kosher food was ok. On the return, there had been a mistake. So no more kosher meal . But the beef was tender. Remark: the return flight from Seoul was not full. Eco passengers were offered to buy an upgrade to PE . ( think it was 220$) FA come by regularly to offer water. Yes, I enjoyed PE on this long stretch. For 300€ more, it is a real bargain. And 2 x 23 kg and priority check inn + luggage. Go for it.
I'm due to fly BA premium economy to jamaica. Looks great. Sounds great. We shall see. It's all about the seat and the service. Thks for this ..interesting
I have tried Premium on ANA, EVA & Swiss Air. I love Swiss Air seats the most as the seat in front of you cannot recline to hit your knees. ANA seats are small but can access to ANA business lounge
Air France is not worth it, the seats are no more comfortable than economy other than legroom. The seat recline is horrible due to the seat reclining in the shell. The staff are not friendly and the food poor quality. If I had the displeasure of flying with air France again I would choose the front seats of economy rather than the extra money for premium economy
The seat is good, the recline is great, so unless you get the first row it's a pain to fly in, getting out of your seat is next to impossible if the person in front reclines.
Flew PE on Lufthansa. Worst ever, they only have a screen separating PE from economy, would have been more private to have a ribbon slung across from wall to wall
Of the three airlines pick only one of them is true and that’s JAL . I recently did a round trip to Australia. Most of the flight was Lufthansa air line . A mixture of premium and Economy seats and it was the most uncomfortable flights I have ever experienced. Air France was not much better. Am sure the airline pay for this content.👎
The absolute worst kind of seat for premium economy is the hard shell like with Air France and Swiss air. Do not book if they have this type of seat. Only your seat cushion moves forward so it automatically cuts your seat pitch. Super awful. New doesn’t mean better. The regular premium economy is way much better. You will regret it especially for a long flight.
It’s a matter of preference. I love these hard shells. The (potential) jerk in front of you will not be able to shove jam his/her backseat all the way right in your face. Your personal space will not be stolen, an infuriating situation especially in long haul flights.
Air France? I flew São Paulo to Paris GRU-CDG in the premium economy class. It was terrible! The chair was broken and didn’t lie down. The service and the food was terrible. It was the worst experience ever. I flew in United airlines IAH-GRU Houston to São Paulo and in British airways GRU-LHR São Paulo toLondon in the premium economy class and it was really good.
Tui to Costa Rica on the Dreamliner was better than all of these and was only £300 extra for the round trip and it included lounge access and all the priorities in the airport. Put together the best that all these flights offer and that's what we had, only thing they didn't offer was Wifi but it doesn't work well on most airlines anyway.

AF premium is good? It better be. They charge almost biziniz class prices for them....

Who cares about the food? The cozy seat is important and Sky Priority is a very nice to have. Especially for Air France at CDG

AIR FRANCE!!! You have to be joking. I flew PE to Johannesburg. It was terrible. Seat was broken and uncomfortable , food was inedible. Never again.
I have heard you only fly Air France if you wanna crash, they have the most crashes of any airline
