Hi, everyone. I think the content of this video is a bit serious for TH-cam. But I would love to hear your thoughts on I Ching and Confucius.
Loove it ❤
So cool! I wasn’t aware that Duke of Zhou installed a moralistic significance to the hexagrams. Interesting to hear such an important historical person as Confusions approach to I Ching. I feel like no matter if we are aware of it or not, many of us may interpret the I Ching hexagram based on our own ‘lense’. It seems to me that Confusions was very aware and conscious in actually choosing is ‘lense’.🙏🙏🙏🙏Thank you thank you thank you for another video filled with interesting information 🫶🫶🫶❤️
@@SeenaMusic Yes, I Ching is certainly not just a divination tool, but also the source for many Classical Chinese philosophies. I am glad you find this video enjoyable. It is always lovely to hear from you!! Love from Australia💕

Glad you enjoyed my video!!
Thanks this sounds very exciting. I learned about this through Benebell Wen.
Yes, I also love Benebell Wen's channel and watched many of her videos. I am still reading her book on I Ching.
@@dr.gaosclassroom I am reading same book and also have Tao of Craft
@@dth92301 What is the title of the book? I am quite curious. Is it in English?
@@dr.gaosclassroom book is in English. Title is The Tao of Craft and author is Benebell Wen. I hope you enjoy.
Thank you for this insight
You are welcome!! Thanks for your support!!
Very interesting video. The I Jing is understood by people at various levels which adds to its sophistication and complexity.
I watched the two Benebell videos given above and it gives some idea of what the I Jing is about but it would be good to have a more systematic explanation. Or maybe three, to look into the three aspects of the I Jing.
Yes, I am doing a lot of readings to prepare the future videos!! It certainly worth putting in the hours and attention!!
Thank you Dr Gao!
My pleasure!!

Could you do a history lesson on the Wu Yi Shamans please?
Do you mean the Shaman healing practice or 巫医? That is an interesting topic!
@@dr.gaosclassroom yes, 巫, the Wu Po, Wu Xi or Wu Yi, and their history records recorded from their inception. A fascinating topic indeed, especially as the root and power of Chinese thought, religion, culture, and medicine.
@@SatuSungai Great. I'll put this topic down for my future videos. This is a huge topic and I'll need to do more research to make a decent video although I know quite a bit about it. The tradition of 巫 is as long as the Chinese civilisation and has changed over time and there is also regional variations from the north to the south, but it is a great topic. I accept this challenge!
@@dr.gaosclassroom thank you 🙏
