    The dealership wanted to charge my wife $70 for this. I bought the filer for a little over $7 and replaced it in about 1 minute. This was easier than making coffee this morning. Thank you for the video!

    There is even an access panel for a cabin air filter on the cowl panel, as MOST CARS have (including my Charger)! I opened that, and all I saw was the firewall. So, I looked online, found your vid, and all is well. THANX again, and have a GREAT day!

    I've never seen such a poorly designed cabin filter location. It feels like the filter gets crushed when you install the new one and I almost twisted my neck off trying to get in there. Makes me miss all the other, more logical ones, I've had in the past. I wonder if lots of air goes around the filter since it's jammed in instead of sliding in straight.

    • @DonniesYTChannel
      @DonniesYTChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it's definitely designed very poorly!

    • @HM-uf1lv
      @HM-uf1lv 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm embarrased a Japanese automaker allowed production of this horribly designed filter/location. There is NO hard frame to prevent crushing during installation...not to mention the dust that spills out into the duct when its crushed upon removal.
      Bakatare engineering!

    Did I understand correctly that on one side of the filter has an arrow pointing to the front of vehicle and on the other side it indicates air flow direction?Thanks and have a good one

    • @DonniesYTChannel
      @DonniesYTChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has an arrow that points the way the airflow should go. So the arrow should point towards the cabin of the car, not towards the firewall

    Hey, does it matter which way the Air Flow arrow is pointing?

    • @DonniesYTChannel
      @DonniesYTChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The arrow should be pointing towards the inside of the cabin. It should be the way the airflow is going into the cabin.

    How to know the airflow direction?

    • @DonniesYTChannel
      @DonniesYTChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Airflow should point the direction of the blower motor. Airflow is the direction that the air flows into the cabin
