I would definitely say the game is aided alot by the story-based DLC, it adds much needed depth and fullness to the campaign (the Leviathan DLC in particular aids the story resolution massively). And you've not met the Banshees yet...*shivers*. What about the combat? It's crazy how far it's come from ME1. When you do a full trilogy playthrough it's night and day.

Oh man, I love how delightfully sleezy the Afterlife Club is. Especially the lower level! Shepard's dancing is truly something to marvel... at how hilariously bad it is! I remember going down there just to get poisoned by the bartender, then watch him get shot. He had it coming! Its places or moments like these, among many others in this series of games that make it truly shine.
Fun fact: this music was originally part of an old Madden game but got scrapped due to it being too electronic and not fitting a football game. The created of the song was a huge Mass Effect fan and eventually heard his track in this game
I love how the way the music resonates in the actual game, the strings are all hollow against the floor and the bass explodes against the walls, it reminds me of past days a few years ago when we all used to find ourselves in metropolis night club. Now I find myself reminessing in afterlife. Change sucks sometimes, but either way this shit is incredible. Kudos the its creator. Can't get enough of that string loop, makes the entire track.
