I'm the one that bought this car 🤩. Trusting the TH-cam video and some of my own checks I bought the car without test driving or even seeing it in person as it seemed really clean. I still have the car and love every bit of it. My third Alfa now and long may that continue.

I am really happy to hear that, I remember it was a great car and i wouldn't have minded keeping it myself

I have owned 2 Giuliettas, a 2014 1.4 TB 170bhp and my current 2018 Veloce 1.75TB 245bhp. I was so confused looking at this car because the model looks like my 2018 but the 2013 is the original G design which has had 2 face lifts since production. The interior gave it away in the end but what a great job the own has done. The front of the car has been upgraded to the lasted model. also the twin pipes and diffuser. He's even taken the old G badge logo off the boot door. If it wasn't for the reg i would have totally been fooled. Great car!

Yep, its sold now, but lots of little improvements, nicely done and the twin pipe conversion

Really well specced car in great condition. I have recently been looking for a giuletta sportiva and there are very few around that come close to this. Also few in the motor trade, including Alfa dealers, advertise their stock as well as this was. Listing the service history in full, showing the important timing belt and multiair filter screen changes like this seems to be beyond them. Great job

Nice review. I bought one just like this. Great handling and great sound - and more than enough power. Lovely car.

@@BarrieCrampton I love my Giulietta. it's a rare car on the roads, which makes it rather exclusive. And it's beautiful.

Bought my first Giulietta just before Christmas after pressure from my partner that she wanted to upgrade the Mito...got the 1.4 sport model (just a bit of red lipstick and some nice bits of plastic bolted on,no performance difference at all) and although I resisted it's proving me wrong as it's a fantastic car, great to drive and look at and as easy to operate as a 20 year old car,we've had Alfa's since 2001 and this is as good as any.

For all those years I was wrong about Giulietta, it is so good looking car and great to drive, especially that fast steering and gear changes. I always believed it deserved a better interior, but it is a really nice place to be, as always with Alfa. People compare it with Golf and Seat, objectively very similar, but subjectively it is a light year away. Such a shame Alfa sells so bad, we really need more Alfas in this boring world full of German shoeboxes and illogical SUVs.

I like that my Alfa stands out from the common Fords and Golfs. Let’s keep them a secret.

I'm currently looking for a MA 1.4 MultiAir Giulietta. I'm coming from a Mito and really like the fact that they are in my budget, lets say for a 5/6 year old car. I am constantly getting the side eye from people around me who think I should get BMW or Audi, but I'd have to go a lot older for my budget (I want a decent spec inside), but also because they all seem to think Alfa are crap cars. My Mito has been OK (bought at 4 yrs old 12 plate), but I did have to pay in total around £400 on repairs over 4 years (clutch and a gear cable - within a year of each other), the services cost me most to be honest at Alfa specialists. Anyway, I'll keep checking in as I just like watching your reviews. The other one I like but probably out of my budget is a VW Scirocco

thanks for watching, i do have a soft spot for Alfa Romeos and to be honest Life is too short to worry about what other people think, buy what you want and enjoy it! I hired a 1968 Alfa Romeo to do the Amalfi Drive, it broke down after we'd completed it, but it was still one of the most enjoyable days of my life and will live with me always, Thanks for watching! Much appreciated

@@BarrieCrampton Your trip sounds like it was great, a 1968 Alfa is allowed to break down after a trip like that anyway. I'll let you know if I get another Alfa.
