    I like the addition of the clock during the time lapses, really helps give a betters sense for the sheer amount of time that goes into each small project. The eclipse is looking great

    This is probably the best Eclipse in the world. Mid-engine with 53% weight distribution is arguably preferable to 4WD Evo conversion. Suspension is tuned by a proper suspension engineer. Fab and mechanical work is great. Entire build is well documented. Pretty neat.

    I mean no disrespect because most of this build is off the chain, but the wheel wells leave a lot to be desired. Perhaps you could look into flexible black plastic sheeting. Bucky Lasek made some fender liners for his GC project that I thought of. If you could make something similar you might be able to get a more finished look without too much trouble.

    • @sirbow2
      @sirbow2 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Maybe find some plastic fender liners from another car and trim to fit.

  • @metalmuscle5083

    Man I think you’re going to get a lot of feedback on this but I think you’re going to need to do more with the wheel wells. I mean just driving in the rain once will obliterate the engine bay

    (Big recommendation) Bro, you really need to build a team of mechanics. It’s really entertaining when you get to experience diversity within a shop. I’m one of those guys who spends countless hours every day watching TH-cam. Humbly speaking and coming from someone who watches TH-cam more than most anyone, building a small team of mechanics who all have their own individual talent and specialties would be one of the “quickest ways” to drastically increase your audience. Anyone who watches TH-cam will find themselves connecting and relating to someone, this is common within channels who have a family like structure. A perfect analogy would be the reason why the Fast & Furious franchise was such a hit. Anyone who’s watched the movies know deeply that the main focus is not just on sick ass beautiful cars, but more about the brotherhood. One of the most important things I focus on when following channels is to ensure I don’t feel like, “I’m simply watching TH-cam”. My main focus is to find that sensation you get when connecting to individuals and their own unique story. Do you know what I mean? feeling like you’re apart of the crew, or in other words, visualizing my spot among the brotherhood. Now of course you are the core and the heart beat to your incredible channel, however, giving your audience diversity by adding team members will create something so magical I can only imagine the outcome. 3 million subscribers? Definitely, and very likely much more… Most importantly bring your viewers along the journey of adding new mechanics and letting us hear their story on why they love fast cars or whatever their story may be. I truly hope your channel one day does this. I’m a big fan. Sorry I’m not a patron, I can’t really afford much of anything nowadays. Even if you don’t agree but still read my extremely long recommendation all the way through I’m grateful. ☺️
    ~Cheers from Colorado Springs~

    Re the NACA ducts; they'll need a duct on the inside to direct air flow down and forward toward the engine (I reckon it's _really_ going to need some flow over the front/exhaust side), otherwise they'll just blow air into the space behind it.

  • @spaight711
    @spaight711 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You could get better splash and dirt protection by adding a rubber sheet to the inside of the wheel well area that attaches with bolts and riv-nuts.
    It would allow for access, be flexible and therefore easy to remove/reinstall for maintenance, and create a barrier to make it less of a wind tunnel from the tires into the engine bay.

    The back end where the rear lights an all the light housing are you should panel in the rear to fill it out more also run panels under the car with ducts to feed cold air from under the car over the oil cooler an another cooling system you may want to stick in the rear maybe like a return oil filter with cooler built in to for the engine or the turbo that way those thing can run cooler also the Trans extra power mean s extra heat.
