Buying/making a marker or drag knife attachment for the plasma table might be a good idea. That way you can trace or even cut out a design on cardboard before fully committing to the real thing.
The automated slider makes a HUGE difference. Looks great! I love the way you’re improving your videos. And it’s great to see you happy! I’m very proud of you!
I honestly didn't like this build at first, but right now, I would like this video twice if TH-cam had that option. Great build and craftsmanship! It came out looking really good!
You know Gingium all I got to say you need more subs man than you have. I will fall out of watching other youtubers, but with you making amazing content, it keeps me hooked. I wish I had subscribed from Paetron way sooner. Coming from when I use to watch your gaming videos to where you are now is night and day. Love your work man. Keep it up.
It's like a huge sense of pride for your friend moment. I've also been watching Caleb since the Forza days, and I usually watch every single video as soon as it comes out. He's made so much progress over these last years, and I'm just sitting here watching this video thinking about doing Patreon finally. Other car TH-camrs have their niche content that can get old after a while, but it feels different with Caleb. For me, he's on the same level as MCM.
the new shop/tools has improved the channel sooo much. this is the best the channel has ever been by far. youve also improved as a fabricator. fantastic work man.
Gingium, there is a Trick to 7:47 You just go further back and zoom as far as your camera can into the objekt. It causes the warping to minimize and make the photo more realistic. Yeah the quality goes down quite a bit but try it and you willl be amazed.
Little tip for seam sealer (literally just cosmetic) use tape for perfect lines and use a acid brush and brush it from one side to the other brushing the same way for the whole thing. Makes it look oem
I would definitely put something like the DEI floor/tunnel shield on the engine side of the firewall, it makes a massive difference in keeping heat out of the interior.
Gingium, I had a buddy who did plasma/water jet stuff as a job. They would use like thin plywood for test cuts before they cut the big piece out of metal.
i really thought this build was insanely ambitious but you're pulling it off! its obviously a lot of work and damn it's coming out so good, I'm so happy you're back in a shop building cool stuff. Thank you for your content
There is no way you would be as efficient and clean without that CNC plasma table. It has really changed your game. Looks like it’s saving you a lot of time. I have no idea how you could have tackled this build without it. Loving the new content and shop!
Gingium, your channel is so much better after this move its unreal. Your game has been stepped up exponentially. It makes me wonder just how awesome your other builds would have been had you already had the CNC plasma cutter and everything else in this shop beforehand. I am so hyped for the future of your channel my dude. Really wished I lived closer to Georgia so I could apply to work with you at your shop.
Hey Gingium, I was afraid of your TH-cam Channel and maybe not seeing you and your skills again for a long time when you were 1 month into the Georgia move. BUT your dedication to finding a shop and going all the way through rebuilding a new project in your drive way have payed off well for your TH-cam Channel! I loved your videos before but now they are just getting better and better everyday. Amazing to see how good the MR Eclipse is coming together. Hope your doing financially good aswell and that you are happy the way things are going (you seem to). One of the biggest motivators in the Automotive world (been here since the Black Subie)
Nice touch with the slider and studio lighting. Caleb, great finishing on the chassis. Refinement at its best. Not just slapping things together as you go along. This is one sick build. Can't wait to see what the finished product will look like. Stay Blessed.
Caleb, I know I speak for almost everyone in saying you are awesome! You have come leaps and bounds since Illinois and I hope you are enjoying life more in Georgia. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into providing entertainment for us!
This is such a high-quality build. Seriously geek out every episode to see you run a 1-man engineering team, to build something never built before. Please never stop making this content.
I would recommend dedicating a pair of players to the plasma table to catch drops and pull your pieces out without getting a burn, definitely elevates the quality and appearance of the work good job man coming along and looking killer.

The double layer firewall looks rad. Is there a heat resistant type of spray foam? Should fill the rest of the gap between the two layers and it would add sound and heat insulation and prevent rattles.
The quality of this build is absolutely insane. I have watched you inconsistently lately but go damn is this a fantastic build and also fantastic video quality
Some time ago You mentioned that you feel like a small fish compared to other TH-cam channels. Don't!!! You blow me away with the projects you've taken on and the exponential skills developed. I enjoy the single person direct fab work. Terrific job. 🖖👽
i would add that gold reflect tape on firewall or Aluminum Backed Fiberglass Firewall Material, for extra heat protection as the turbo's gonna be right there, what would of been cool, is you can actually put an evo 4-9 hear on the earlier blocks, they just have a couple more head oil drains that need to get welded shut but that would put the turbo on the backside of the car
It’s amazing how quick you are putting this thing together. I know you’re pretty good at fabricating but even this would have taken longer at the old shop. This shop with the cnc, new tube bender, etc. have elevated the channel so much. Investment well worth it so far imo.
I may be a dummy, but why did you do 2 walls like that? was it to help with rigidity or sound? Seems like a lot of extra weight and i'm just curious what the goal was. I'm doing something similar on mine currently and i'm trying to learn from all you wiser men haha. Loved the video! excellent work as usual.

Fun fact about sound deadening. the entire panel does not need to be cover in it. hints why cars new only have maybe a few little pieces in the doors, ext, it does help. but it has fast diminishing returns. The goal is to get the panels to stop vibrating. A single panel or maybe two is all you'd need for the larger bottom part. Also. You need to press it on, that's why it has the little dimples. that'll just come off with heat in a few k miles.
Dude that thing is wicked. You should be super proud. Your skills as a car builder/fabricator have grown so much and it's awesome to see it. Keep up the great work. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for what you do

The directions in the killmatz your supposed to use a roller to apply and you know it's correct once all the texture is smooth. I used this product recently on a side by side for a customer.
It's probably too late and you probably arent able to get special sheet metal stamping dies, but the firewall would probably make significantly less noise if the sheets were stamped or indented to reduce vibration. Im sure the insulation will work great as is, and I'm loving the new camera slider!

The cnc plasma cutter really elevated the quality of the builds, the little touches like the plate on the x brace really set it off
