Good to hear from you at long last, glad Sue has got over her operation so well. Sad about the cats, but you can only do your best, I would be exactly the same, love cats, always used to go round feeding all the strays whilst on holiday. Wish they would stop building in Cotillo, I don't recognise it, it's been so long.
Sorry to hear of your trials and tribulations JP and the loss of your friend. Glad to have you back though and that Sue is on the mend. I love your kindness to animals, you are a good man.
Great to see you again thank you for taking the time to create this video really enjoyed and appreciated it. Pleased to hear you are both doing well . Until next time keep enjoying the island. Kirsty 😊
Absolutely great video, my first time in Fuerteventura was 18th years ago and it was in Corralejo ( i hated hotel etc . also everyone was Brit and you didn't feel you r in Spain) After that we never go for all inclusive in fact we did only for children. We went to El Cotillo it was so different calm but yet no commercial building, literally nobody was ther and now seeing your video looks so different. Thank you for sharing. All the best and maybe see you in July 🫶
Lovely to see you again on video John. Best wishes to Sue and good to hear she’s doing well after her knee op. Sorry to hear all of your sad news though, especially that of Sue’s best friend Jackie, so sad😢 Dawn
Hi John, good to see that you are still posting video's from the islands. Looking forward to seeing further content from you over the coming months. Cheers 🍻
Good to see you back JP. What sad news with the cats and as a cat lover, I know what you have been going through. I am very sorry to hear about your friend which must have been such a shock. Pleased to hear Sue is better. I was in Esquinzo in early February and had lovely weather. So nice to get away from the cold weather here.
Hello JP Glad to see you and Jenson .Sorry to hear all the sad things that have happened 😢. Glad to hear Sue is on the mend . Look forward to seeing cotillo again when there from the 1st of June for 2 weeks 😀 take care
Hi John We were in the airport waiting for our plane home as you made the video, always hoped to be in your vids at sometime, maybe one day. Sorry to hear about Jackie, met her and her husband on several occasions while visiting Cotillo, both at the now deduct El Tolson, and as a meet and greet when they looked after properties for rent in the village. Keep up the good work. David and Trish, fans and frequent visitors to El Cotillo. 👍
Hi JP great so see you looking well sorry for the loss of your good friend, sue must be feeling like a new woman with her new knee I had both replaced last year it has changed my life. El Cotillo is looking well apart from the new development anyway thanks for your video stay well.
Hi JP, great to hear from you again. Delighted Sue is on the mend, 3 weeks for the lads to hang out (you and Jenson). Looking forward to the Estepona vlog. Take care 🤙
Hi John, lovely to see you back and the video of El Cotillo. So shocked to hear the news of Jacqui, we met her for the first time last November, she was a lovely lady, so sad. We were in fuerteventura in April but in corralejo. Hope to be back at the end of the year. Next time you are in el cotillo can you please check the Chinese is back open !!! It was closed / up for sale, last time we were there. Take care both. Love Sue xxx
Great to see you back, was there any follow upto Villa Charlotte, Aguas Verdes on what was happening to it we are having a trip down to el cotillo in 4 weeks
Good to see you after awhile! Pleased to hear Sue is doing well! There seems to be a few changes with bars and restaurants around the seahorse area? We are in Corralejo on the 10th May for 2 weeks will look out for you. So Sorry to hear the sad news about Jackie we all need to live for the moment! JP sounds like you have had an awful few months. Wow that new complex has really blocked the view it's all too much for Cotillo and not needed and spoils the tranquility of the area! Hey ho! (Just putting my SOAP box away! ) Ann & Keith 👍🌞
The garden is much the same apart from a new succulent bed. It is no fun gardening here when you need a pick axe just to make a small hole. Thanks for watching.
I saw you when you were filming the piece bout the toston bar and decided against speaking because I guessed what you were talking about. End of an era with the closure and rebranding , always will be the el toston in my eyes☹️
Good to hear from you again, JP. "Little boxes made of ticky tacky". I can't help but think that some of this new development is not very sympathetic to the character of El Cotillo. The harbour area, however, seems to have retained its charm and we will still visit the next time we are in Fuerteventura. I'd never have an electric vehicle either and it was good not to see any e-bikes, one of the current scourges of the UK, on your stroll. People are now saying that the "e" stands for "exploding". Glad to hear that Sue is recovering well from the knee replacement. Chin up, old chap. Things could be much worse, you know. You could still be living in the UK!
Strange that they took Torino beach bar down for enviromental reasons and now azzuro (they have a restauarnt on the other side off the road) is back for it. Tnaks for the updat JP, and i was last year there in cotillo but a lot has changed unfortunally..
Hi John, we met you and your wife in El Cotillo at the end off june. Raymond and Mariska from the Netherlands. I would like to contact you iff you are able to meet us again when we come back to Fuerteventura. Only your emailadres here from youtube doesnt work.. Unfortunally.. And hope to see soon another video from you, its been a while since the last one. Cheers!
Still relatively low, compared to the UK, fortunately. That is assuming you don't need to rent as they are high now, particularly for local families. Thanks for watching.
@@JPinFuerteventura Thanks JP. Sorry to hear the very sad news about your friend Jackie. We were in Cotillo last week and were wondering about all the changes. We knew the Toston pub was closing and it is tragic Jackie never had a chance to enjoy her retirement. That's 2 of our favourite places gone. To add insult to injury we couldn't get a Chinese either at the Asiatico - the owners have also retired. That place was a god send when we were tappassed out :) Take care.
Absolutely loved seeing you back on YT again John! Glad Sue’s had her hip (sorry knee!) replacement and is walking well. Sorry to hear about your friend … we all need to live every day as if it was our last. Jensen’s looking fantastic! Torino’s was fantastic … under the circumstances I think I’ll give the new replacement with the obviously ‘environmentally better noisy generator’ a miss next time I’m back. Anyway, great to enjoy a walk with you once again on my favourite island 😊👍

Soooo nice ti have you back, akways enjoy yourvuodates👍
Would you ever consider coming back to uk?
You can never say never but unlikely. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the video and the background stories, hope to see you more often 😄 How is the garden and the tool shed? 😁

I could have redone that bit Ian
JP, do you know if the empty plot outside Cotillo Beach is marked for another development?
I imagine that all the plots in front of the hotel will be developed at some point. I haven't heard of any imminent plans though.
@@JPinFuerteventura Sadly I think that may be the case. Shame!
Glad to see you back, can't sign off with my usual comment as you have a lot of sad news, maybe next time

Hi JP The walkways look really rustic, dont fancy the rope protection if you took a trip on that path
Actually I preferred it before these were installed when the cliffs were more natural. I hate the nanny state.

Hi again Raymond. The email address is working now plus if you go to my Facebook page you can send me a message there - facebook.com/Jpinfuerteventura
How’s the cost of living over there at the moment JP ?
Still relatively low, compared to the UK, fortunately. That is assuming you don't need to rent as they are high now, particularly for local families. Thanks for watching.
Hi JP. Great to see you are doing well. What has happened to the Seahorse Pub (where you began your walk)?
The Seahorse closed about a year ago Steve. It seems like it won't reopen.

Is there protests from the locals against English tourist out there
That is all rubbish blown out of proportion by the morons that run the British press.
