I was in El Cotillo yesterday and think I walked past you with Sue and Jepson soon after you filmed this video. I was also asked for directions to the beach by the scotsman who had came on the same bus as me from Corralejo!!!
My wife and I really enjoyed watching that, getting us all the more ready for our next visit in November. El Cotillo is the only place we bother to stay abroad now, twice a year if we can! We'll be staying at the Cotillo Ocean View this time, which of course you walked right past. We've enjoyed El Caleton the last couple of times with its proximity to the best swims of course, but the Ocean View will be more convenient in many ways! All the best, and we may catch you one day. ❤
Great to watch your relaxing walk , we are thinking of visiting fuerteventura this winter as been to lanzorote a number of times , only been on the Romero Boat to Corralejo once so would appreciate any information on good resorts to stay .
I came here at the beginning of sept for a week and it was much hotter than usual, and especially at night. This year I stayed in the Lacasa apartments and loved it. I think I'll stay at Lacasa next year I come. I really hope El Cotillo doesn't keep building as it's starting to get busier. I come here often and I love the place. You are very lucky to have your own place out there. Don't ever take it for granted.
As I always say Dan, it wasn't luck that we ended up here. We planned for it and did it. If it was just down to luck, with my luck track-record, we would be living in Middlesbrough.

Have you been in the village when the drum group is practicing? I was there in February on a Monday about 11am and this amazing noise was coming from the soccer ground

Not for many years. I used to every week when we were living in our apartment. It was hard not to hear them.

Hey just read something about evictions in corralejo and was wondering if you knew anything about it?
I hadn't but with the number of squatters around I am not surprsied. They should all be kicked out.
@JPinFuerteventura we walked through oasis dunas (August) it was awful. It was an article in the canarian Times regarding 250 evictions. Cheers.
