Playing Brawl Subspace Emissary After 10 Years

- This is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. An old game that some of you guys might be nostalgic for, but the thing is, this game is WAY too old for like 99 percent of my target audience so I figured the best way to let you all experience it is by watching Nick and I play through the Sus Space Emissary. That is literally it. Sus scribe because this is only episode 1 out of several.
Also quick blurb but It says 10 years in the title because that was the last time that I played Brawl in general was sometime during highschool, that’s more time than some of you have been alive 😳

Subspace was one of the best things to ever come out of smash bros. I loved seeing all the characters interact in some way. Plus it was just a lot of fun

I'll give you guys two minor tips though in case you haven't recorded this in advance to help preserve your sanity!
The first is ANY room change counts as a checkpoint. Doesn't matter if it's a door or boss beaten or random fade to black. If it changes the room, it's a checkpoint. This includes secret rooms, so actively seek them out if you're close to Game Over since it's a checkpoint.
Also, Charizard is a boss slayer once you get him. Just use Rock Smash (side b) and watch the boss' health melt. It even has some super armor to break through some attacks. You may think it's cheese but that'll change quickly.
Funny thing, we already recorded part two and as soon as we got Charizard that is the first thing I told Nick to do. I remember some things lmaooo

This just shows that Meta Knight is the king in Brawl and that will still remain.

Oh, these were the days. I loved Subspace Emissary. 15 years later and the scene with DK and Diddy's intro and Ike's intro still give me chills.

The only thing that would've made it better was if You Will Know Our Names was playing in the background instead of You Will Recall Our Names.
Subspace Emissary is a goated adventure mode. As someone who grew up playing Brawl, I'm glad that you're finally able to play and enjoy the epicness of this adventure!

I think that was my most played game by far back then! Subspace Emissary was just such a nice experience! That aside, Brawl had a nice Trophy-Minigame.^^
Also introduce the Lightning-Item which turned out to be one of my personal favorites besides the Super Mushroom xD

Subspace emissary huh? Man, that was a huge chunk of my childhood. Back when i used kirby, lucas, mk, and pit. Also my first smash game, so yeah, seeing people play this mode takes me back. Taboo was just so annoying.

Technically, Pit CAN fly, but only with Palutena's help. and he can't use it for too long, otherwise his wings will burn up and he'll fall to his death.

An unlikely alliance emerges! I haven't played Brawl in ages! I did like the cutscenes in Subspace Emissary, but the gameplay just got incredibly tedious. Glad to see Sophist and TCNick putting aside their differences to take down Tabuu!

I remember playing a bit of the story mode, but never finished it. I mostly just did Free For All with my family and friends. This was my first Smash Bros game and it’s nice seeing this again.
