Always thought it was weird how Frasier hangs coats/jackets so far into the apartment rather than by the door. Especially in a rainy city like Seattle. The water gotta be dripping all over the floor on the way to the hanger
I don't know if its a "sarcastic and snappy comeback" but I liked when they are at a party and Daphne is introduced as Martin's "physical therapist" to which a guest responds "is that what they call them these days".

@@parafrasier Ahh I see.. that’s on me for not reading the title properly. I thought it was a compilation of the most sarcastic comments of all the seasons not just Season 3. Sorry..
What I think was a great part of Frasier that we don't see these days is that in the show, there was never an unassailable person. Everyone ribbed on everyone and whilst it might have strayed a bit into mean, it was never cruel. Take Big Bang Theory, where Leonard screwed with Sheldon's experiment in the Arctic. That was cruel.
Or in Parks & Rec where everyone ganged up on Gary/Larry/Jerry. Other shows did that, and I hated it. Like you said, on Frasier, everyone teased the other and nothing was cruel.
Sorry I'm late to the party, I just found this jewel. Agree; another example is on Friends. I never cared much for the show to begin with and the scene with Chandler and Monica did it for me. I don't remember what season or episode; long story short, she wanted him to go jogging and he was too lazy, and he insulted her to the point of tears. I know that it's a sitcom, just an act, yada yada. It rubbed me the wrong way.
A risk ?!? Whatever happened to people's sense for adventure and taking chances ? 1) their relationship was already established. Frasier knew she wasn't serious Thus; the immediate snappy comeback. No hesitation. 2) It wasn't like she wouldn't have blasted Frasier in the face IF, he tried something anyway. Roz probably has done it a couple of times before dealing with guys that don't understand sarcasm. She knows what she's doing, give her a little credit for being that smart.
Not a huge fan of Frasier, but there were some good zingers here. I think what has always bothered me about this show is that Fraiser could easily have been a closeted gay man...and maybe even been funnier for it. While Niles character seems gay, but he doesn't exert as much effort to hide in the closet. Ironic, since David Hyde Pierce is actually gay.
Just my opinion but I don't see much humor in a gay man living in the closet, hiding his true identity by living a lie in front of family and friends. It's probably already been done on sitcoms (maybe not the main character). But I did it in real life from my youth through the end of college (back in the late 1980s) and it was the furthest thing from fun. Essentially, one is pretending to be someone else, all the time. Very squelching. Mind you, I am not a flamboyant gay man by any means; but it was stifling not being myself. Also: maybe Frasier Crane actually _was_ a closeted gay man for those eleven years. Anything's possible. ;-)
@@ianfinrir8724 Yes--- his new boss, the handsome guy with eyeglasses and longish hair. That was funny. Funny because Frasier has no iota that he is leading the man on, LOL (and Frasier had wanted Tom to meet and be smitten with Daphne). And then when Frasier learns that the man thinks he and Frasier are on a date, it gets even better.
@@eduardo_corrochio I had a thing for DHP. The goodlooker with the glasses was so hot. For years I wondered who he was. Turns out he is DHP's rl partner of decades. They are still together. 😉
I love the fact that Martin's so much more down to earth but it's quite clear where Fraiser and Niles' snarky nature comes from.
People say you're either a Friends or a Seinfield fan. But the greatest sitcom from that era was undoubtedly this one.
The Simpsons for me. But def Frasier is a close second.

Seinfeld is utter toilet
I wish my life was interesting enough so I could steal some of these lines to use.
you have to do as i do: watch every single episode a hundred of times, so in the unlikely event that the chance to use the line appears you're ready
Same 😭
So do we. 🤣
I do everyday lol
I just wish I had friends intelligent enough to understand my "snarky remarks".
Roz coming onto Frasier and his only reaction is "are you through?" always gets me. Complete genius.
"Sherry and snausages" made me snork my tea! 🤣
John Mahoney cracking up for real is epic.
The writing is so superb and the actors - in their various roles - deliver their lines with delicious relish!
The Directing is the crowing achievement.

It's good to know being British that our American friends have mastered sarcasm & irony in such a short time. Utterly perfect
😂😂😂 Such an underrated comment. (Said by an American only moderately obsessed with our British cousins' far longer history.)

Love this clip! Frasier is one of my best favorite TV show!
"Am I crazy? Or is there a bright golden haze on the meaderrrr?"
The way he says "meadoh," while Niles looks at him in disdain while wearing a bolo tie. 😂
Love the bit before when he says “howdy partna”

Chainsaw of the newport chainsaws. Best show going.

The Italian Recipes alone would be positively legendary! No disparagement from me, Miss Karina.😋🍲🥩🧀🍅🍷B.W.
Cheese stuffed meatballs sound like they'd go really well with Martin's "chocolate pudding chips" he invented when he ate Niles' pot brownie. 😉
I would unironically try that.
I've had those. They're very good.
