yes, please do make more videos of you talking about random knitting stuff, always interesting to hear plans and not being afraid to go independent from knitting patterns. If one owns a garment that one likes the fit of, making a swatch and doing lots of math and measuring is all that is needed to create a similar garment.
So much fun to listen to you talk about knitting, Jimmy! The Modern Mudcloth sweater is stunning. That would move right to the top of my knitlist. I used a couple of historical gansey books to knit up about a dozen children's sweaters a while back. Very straightforward construction, lots of space for fun patterns. I just ordered from Studio Donegal (ordered on Sunday, received the following Friday here in Illinois) -- great yarn, wonderful to knit with. My first Studio Donegal sweater is blocking right now, cables and bobbles looking great. And I love your blue wall!
