Well done Rich, the patience paid off, looked a bit precarious getting down to the shoreline to land it, hardcore fisherman 👍👍👍. Looking forward to your next video. Regards Steve (Chunk)
I’ve been out about 10 times since I started in April last year and I’ve had about a dozen whiting, few mackerel, a big plaice and a few dab. Will you be out on the 29th?
Good you catching Dom. I have been able to fish during lockdown as the Mersey is at the bottom of my road but it has been fishing very poorly. So took a couple of months off to sort out tackle. River just starting to pick up now with rays and plaice so hopefully get back out next week.
@@PerchRockFishing I am in Runcorn so I’m a bit further up river than you then haha I hoping for a perch rock session within the next 2 or 3 weeks, any good for the plaice at perch?
There are better marks for Plaice. Vale Park or Maddocks at high or fishing on the flood from low. The other is off Harrison Drive in area of T groyne fishing it on the flood.
Thanks for watching Valerie. It was an enjoyable day even though it didn't produce much. Mind you catching fish is just a part of the whole fishing experience 😁
Thanks for watching Lee. I enjoy using the Fireblades. Light easy to cast, plenty of power when you need tips sit in the tide well. Century did a great job with them.
Bait is the expensive part of sea fishing but also good bait is critical. I tend to take more in the winter, as it stays frozen and so just goes back in the freezer when I get home.

Thanks for watching Steve. I always wear studded boots whenever there is rock and weed involved which does help a lot.
Dirty venue, Mostyn, but it does produce some good fish. That was a lovely little ray.
Thanks for watching . Can get a bit muddy... but nothing too bad. 🎣😁
You’re the man who inspired me to start fishing. Love the content mate
Many thanks Dom. Hope.you are catching a few. Will be back on the beach soon ☺️

Nice one Rich, seems strange watching you here without the big lens, ha ha!!
Thanks Paul. Yes not a very big lens on a GoPro..lol
Congratulations on the Ray good job you moved. Like your tripod.
Thanks Vern. The tripod is the Breakaway one which is very light and the one I tend to use if there is a bit of a walk involved.
@@PerchRockFishing yes I agree but I Chuck mine in the van as well. Keep up the good work.
Really enjoying these videos mate. I’m looking at the fire blades they look like a nice rod.

Perfect I like the sound of them more. The higher end are a little out my reach but the fireblade I’ve heard nothing but good news about them.
Top Dangling Ricardo
Cheers Dave 🎣👍
Well done Richard, not the easiest mark to fish in winter, can always rely on the fish baits to get a fish out tho. Good job!! 🎣🎣
Thanks Adam. Even though it was slow going I enjoyed the day out with the change of scenery 🎣😎
Well done rich
Thanks Jimmy 👍🎣
i do miss my sea fishing but i dont miss the price of all that frozen bait. that lot you got must have cost a fair wack

Great video Richard! Do you know what species of Ray that was?
Thanks Will. It's a female Thornback ray.
@@PerchRockFishing ahh, I ghought i saw some spikes 👌
Hey mate is there a lot of walking to get to the mark or can you get your car close by ,cheers mate
Thanks for the comment Michael. It is a reasonable walk to the mark and you have to park a fair distance away.
Where do you recommend for mostyn? New to area
Thanks for watching. Either end of the main bay or by the FunShip (high water)
