Back 4 Blood - “Trial of the Worm" Tutorial

- Trial of the Worm will be available as a cooperative PvE mode where players determine their path down a four-map chain while earning Supply Points along the way. Players can add Corruption Modifiers or choose the more vigorous paths to increase difficulty and boost the amount of Supply Points rewarded. Those looking for a challenge or a more customized difficulty can work towards completing Trial of the Worm with a high score to earn a top spot on the online leaderboard. Trial of the Worm is free for all Back 4 Blood owners and will release alongside the River of Blood expansion on December 6th.
Available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.

900 hours here, same. In saying that IF this is the last update I am happy because this trial of the worm is absolutely class. Exactly the kind of mode i could play for so so long trying to make those charts
they should fix their game first before the dlc drops. the number of bugs that go unpatched, and swarm left unnoticed for the majority of the game's lifespan id love just som sort of update to fix their shit. bc at this rate this game dies after next year :I

Smart to be using SwingPoynt. He is the best at what he does for this game. I was suuuuper glad when he joined the studio. Having the world know you have a developer on the team thats actively playing the game really makes every player feel better and eases alot of minds. On that note, its bug free. Was before SP joined TRS, still is now. Cannot WAIT for this dlc.
This is exactly what I was hoping the game would get one day. Customizable runs. Although these are slightly randomized, this is still perfect. I wasn't expecting it this soon though. You all are really putting in the work into this game and it's showing.

I'll be honest, I was somewhat looking foward to the idea originally, a new game mode is welcome for sure, but seeing it's just random campaign levels rather than some unique routes in these maps, I won't lie it's kinda underwhelming

Please don't stop updating this game, we want more! Especially a horde mode, guns give copper buy better guns, beat highest round, use already existing maps and make them smaller with the safe zone the exit
the mode would be more attractive, if it reward for supply point and skull point the latter is more worth to play as the card in green line is more useful than general card in supply line.
As someone who has completed all acts on No Hope SOLO Flawless, i can say i am super excited for this new addition!

@@gennadytsiolkovsky9580 i did it before the bots had any good team cards and did it solo by killing all 3 bots b4 each run, with the exception of the Act 1 finale because there would have to be too much luck involved. are you suggesting i just sat back and let them do the work???
I hope Totems multipliers are added to the rewards for this in the future.
There's already more than one way to earn supply points and multiply them, but only one way to earn Totems.
Just give the community mod tools we need new maps
No game has mod support in its early years, it's still too early to ask for it.
I hope they add more nightmare skins for characters that previously didn't have them for me as a player this gives more rewards for those who like a challenge and are rewarded by completing harder difficulties.

So its the base game (and hives) with you being able to change the difficulty your self, and a abuseable leaderboard and its being marketed as a new game mode? "Is this an out of season April fools joke?"
If they're going to use preexisting maps rather than make new ones for the new mode, you'd think they would just run Swarm as PvE horde instead. Add some achievements/trophies for surviving 5, 10, 15 minutes or something, have some hags and breakers moving around....

Hi SwingPoynt ! I have a doubt in the video, which is the level of each cards. I noticed there are different levels indicated in each card (e.g. level 50 on intel boon card, level 20 on ferocious tallboy card, etc), any idea what does it actually stand for ?

I absolutely love b4b and have 100% on the game but this game mode is pretty underwhelming, it's just a bunch of things we already do put together a different way . And what if you don't care about leaderboards do you get supply points or totems is it worth playing?

Please Fix Silence is Golden - Overwhelming maojrity of the time - paths are blocked by alarmed doors making it impossible to get silence is golden without specific cards. THIS SHOULD NEVER be a thing. There should ALWAYS be an alternate path that doesn't require MANDATORY cards or equipment. Easy solution - Silence is Golden spawns tool kits near every locked door player can find.

I like the idea of leader boards. But are you planning to do something with cheaters? If not there is no point having those leader boards at all. Right now the anti cheat you have does absolutely nothing. People join with modded decks stacking 10 "magician apprentice" or 8 "motorcycle helmet", infinite copper, infinite health etc.

I wish this game went all out on customization giving us more freedom to build the guns we want and allowing us to use them whenever we want. I just feel as if finding rare weapons in hives that you can’t even add attachments too and then when the act is over it’s gone is just a horrible way to make me want to keep playing. If they’re going to add special weapons to the game then there needs to be a much larger variety and a rarity between them. I just don’t see myself ever playing this game again, because everything is just meh…
they had a chance to put pvp campaign into this mode. And yet they didnt.

Great idea, but I personally don't like the execution. It would be better in my opinion if you were free to directly choose all the modifiers and adjustments you wanted with full control. It'd be way more fun that way since you could create the unique experience you wanted no matter how easy or difficult. Niche builds would have a chance to finally shine, nerfed builds might be as fun as they used to again, and there'd always be a reason to come back for the fun of topping scores in different ways. I always have fun screwing around with stuff I can control more. And I'm sure lots of others will agree with me when I say we are pretty tired of always playing by someone else's rules, we want to play how we want to play. That's a large reason why the modding discussion comes up and why I have stuck around lots of games from Bethesda / Valve. Just an opinion from someone who's been here since the beta, bought the $120 ultimate edition, and sunk 1,050 hours in the game.
