The chickens lay eggs which get thrown by the dispencer for a chance for a baby chicken to spawn. So no breeding (After the innitial breeding to make lots of chickens)

use split controls and crouch. if that still doesn't work just put a regular block like cobblestone, place the hopper to the cobblestone and then replace the cobblestone with a chest

Starting from 2 cows, you will have to breed 9 times to get to 42 cows.
It doesn't have to exactly be 30.

Lmao no way. Maybe you build it wrong. Did you deactivating the hopper? What i mean is if you "active" the hopper with redstone, it won't work anymore.

I'm on Xbox and made this the other week (saw it on another channel). The cooked chicken and feathers refuse to fall into the hopper. They just sit on the slab.
