Awesome vid. You've given me hope that people still have brains is this crazy world. Unfortunately, electric cars WILL be the future though -- we will have no choice, as the government has been taken over by corrupt special interests. My governor, Jay Inslee (of Washington state) signed a bill earlier this year that, as of 2030, all new car registrations will HAVE to be electric. It's a joke -- for all the reasons you mentioned. But additionally, we are NO WHERE near having the infrastructure for a massive influx of pure EVs. I can't even imagine what big holiday weekends are going to be like in 8-15 years, if all new cars are electric -- there will be lines 4-6 hours long just to charge your car so you can get home. But I fear, even then, that people are so indoctrinated they will not change course -- instead they will blame the government for the lack of charging infrastructure. On top of that, what about all the terrible mining that must be done to get the special metals for the batteries that will need to be produced. And there probably isn't even enough lithium for 100% pure EV sales.

Good point on the holiday travel, Im not thinking there will be much holiday travel wih EV's

hopefully in the future they make the fastest superchargers and it can charge your EV in like 5 mins. thats the only way i can see how Evs would be the standard

This kid is legendary hilarious! Side note, don’t be a realtor, be a mortgage loan officer. Great money with half the work. Either way you need to build a business, much easier on the mortgage side of things. Cheers! 🍻

EV's are inevitable. Energy will come from many places, including the cheapest and fastest growing in the energy sector. Renewables. Solar panels last at least 25 year, and wind and solar give back far more energy than it takes to produce them. It takes seconds to plug in, and most will simply charge when people are sleeping. Far more convenient.
New battery tech will outlive the car, and it goes way beyond Lithium Ion. BTW comparing a phone battery to a car battery is not the same thing. There have been many studies showing EV''s are by far the better option for the environment. Not to mention cleaner air for us all to breath.
I could go on and on. But lets take your last statement. Your car just takes energy. No it doesn't, it takes an energy source, which in itself has taken masses of energy to create. An EV does simply take energy (from whatever source) which drives a motor.
All major car manufacturers are now spending billions developing EV's. The reason is simple, it is the future.

You just talked about solar being good when a simple search shows its bad for the environment. One hail storm and they dont last 25 years. Charge overnight? With solar? Go look in a mirror and ask yourself what went wrong with you

@@Maybe1Someday I said solar generates far more energy than it takes to create. They can last well over 25 years, and are more than capable of handling a hail storm.
I didn't say charge overnight from solar, I said charge overnight. Probably from the grid, which ironically is helping to balance the grid.
