I decided last night I’m going to put a light coat of resin over it. That way the numbers are covered with resin also. Since it will be a little thicker I may have to put on a longer stalk. I have some longer hands also I just need to paint them white.

I like having so many of them. When I make a Clock I can mix and match. Sometimes the hands-won’t fit on the other movement parts but I usually end up finding ones that will. And if they’re not the right color I just paint them. I’m going to put a extra coat of resin on this one. Thank you Mary

I like recycling too. I have always liked a bargain and the environmental aspect too. Now when I visit charity shops I hunt for stuff to use in my art as well.

Yes, just lay it down on a piece of wood that you don’t mind getting damaged and hold it still and use your regular drill.
