That was a great tutorial and thank you. I do not paintings on vinyls and was stuck in trying to figure how to finish them with resin without resin what size clock hands etc so this was a great learning experience for me so thank you
Omg!!! I just love this. My husband just told me some one ask if he collected albums, his answer was yes. I had no idea that he had old, Old albums in the garage for 1 year. Can you believe it. At least 40!!!! I was like clocks for Christmas gifts. This is a excellent time for me to start making them. Thank you so much for the video. Great gift ideas! You work is amazing!!!
I searched until I found you! I love this tutorial. The only thing missing is how you finished the back. Otherwise, it's my go to for this. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much!! Wasn't sure if you put the numbers on before or after the resin and didn't know what size clock works to get. I had so many questions about making a clock and you answered every one of them.
Marvelous job you are very thorough and I am a beginner so thank you very much and I'm poor LOL I was wanting to ask you I ended up and bought polyurethane the quick-drying because I am not crazy about the spray anymore I want to make sure things last but I haven't used it yet I am asking you if I can. Or if I should use something else.please and thank you very much,Especially for explaining things so well. I must say though LOL that torch made me jerk backwards I don't think I've ever seen the fire shoot out like that on the other videos videos so kudos to you I would probably burn the house down..lol. I have just started to learn that I don't have to move fast and to slow down and mainly do not panic ..thanks again and God bless!
Thank you! You can certainly try it, I would test on something small at first, some of those products can turn your project yellow :(. The torch takes some getting used to for sure!
Hi. I have painted my first 2 clocks and I am about to put mechanism on. The hands have a little lip on one side at the hole, do you put the lip downwards or facing upwards as I cannot tell from your video. Which I must admit the video of your LP clock is very informative and I didn't know where to start untill I watched this. I have had great fun doing the 2 clocks. Thank you very much
Great tutorial..thank you. Could you provide the website for the clock template, please. I looked on Etsy and can’t seem to get to the website to download the template. Thank you.
An outstanding tutorial, can't wait to try this, can you use a pin vice to drill out the hole after, or what about keeping the hole open during the process? so for example, poking the hole after the paint pour and then again after the resin pour, it's difficult for me to use a drill as I am bedbound, (or do you have to use a drill anyway in the case the hole in the vinyl is too small for clock mechanism)? Thanks so much for such an inspiring and informative tutorial
Hi honey I’m having a hard time finding the template for the number placement.. I know it’s been a while but do you remember what site on Etsy you obtained it? Ty
Dianne Davis I would use the one with 5” hands or see if she offers a set a bit longer. I put the link to the Etsy store I buy from in the video description.
Do you still make the clocks? The link from Etsy is no longer good, where do you purchase you clock parts currently? Thanks for the video and your clock is beautiful ❤️
I’m not finding that thick cork or the resin spreading tool at HL, Michael’s or Walmart. Found a set of 6 spreaders on Etsy for $6.00 but they want almost $9.00 to ship them🥺. Only one one Amazon & it was $9.00. Ridiculous.
I’m sorry, I had found it at HL. I also use my gloved hand or the popsicle stick I mix the resin with Kathy. You could use corckboard tiles for walls, maybe that would be easier to find. I have seen those at Walmart.
Michelle Hernandez this is a link to how I mix my paints th-cam.com/video/hlXvCP0n_j8/w-d-xo.html. That will give you a general idea on paints and pouring medium. Then you just need something to pour on. I started on the cheap multi packs of canvases, albums are inexpensive at thrift stores, and ceramic tiles are fun to pour and inexpensive. 🙂
When did Julie use that PM mix? We don’t strain Aussie Floetrol because it has no lumps or strings in it. How do you get the paint off of the back of the clock please? Thank you for telling me how to do it. 🌸
Thank you so much for having a clock video that actually shows how to assemble the clock . Very helpful!!

I haven't done any resin yet, but I'd varnish the clock. Would you put the numbers on first or varnish and then put the numbers on?
I think I would put the numbers on first Barbara.
Thank you

spettacolare, bellissimo, dove compra i numeri? in qualche sito?
sono stati tagliati con una fustella, potresti usare un Cricut
When doing acrylic pours do you get paint for pouring or thin out acrylic paint?

Rachel Lewis I think you would have to use a drill bit because the clock mechanism is a bit smaller than the record hole.
Hi beautiful clock . Can I ask where did you get the cork from and what size is it ?
They were 12” squares which I cut down to 2 x w”

What sizes shaft do I need?
1/2” with hanger

What is the resin that you use?
I use Counter Culture Artist Resin, you can use coupon code KRISS for $5 off your $40 order if you like
How do you get the paper off the middle of the record for the side you pour on?
I don’t take it off, I leave it and just spray primer on it so it doesn’t bleed through
