It was actually the NFL that got sick of renegotiating contracts every couple years with different studios, so they basically told everyone to give them offers and the highest payer will get exclusive rights to use the NFL in games. And EA just bid the most money and won. I don’t know how things worked out with FIFA and other sports, though

One of us jerks off to anime waifus, screams racial slurs at strangers in Vietnamese underwater basket-weaving forums, and makes feminists spaz just by existing. The other one of us is married with several kids that they can't actually be sure are theirs, with personal debt out the ears, and a rising porn addiction due to an overweight and narca wife who never loved you and is now confident enough to openly display it. I feel like a lot of the problems with both Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem might have been much smaller if the teams working on them were swapped. The team that made Anthem (which was primarily a live service multiplayer game) was the remaining members of the team that was responsible for the Mass Effect trilogy, sonthey were better a single player narrative experiences. Meanwhile the Andromeda team (which was working a single player narrative focsued game) was the one that obly really had experience making the multplyer mode from Mass Effect 3, which was quite good. I'm not saying the two games would've been masterpieces if ut had been te other way around, but I think they would've had a better chance at being passable at least.
Honestly when I saw Anthem I almost, ALMOST pre ordered it. I was so glad I didn't once I saw how it spiraled. I did play the beta, and sure I saw some problems but I had hope it would be made better. The concept for the game was nice....just the execution was...well what it was.
I'm a Halo fan and yeah, after Halo Reach, we started getting some real half-assed stuff... 4 was good from a narrative perspective, but 343 has done more bland or bad games than good ones.
An easy way to avoid people memeing bad faces just don’t have faces put every interactable NPC in a helmet. That way you don’t have to spend a shit ton of money on a one take face rig.

Gacha games i can somewhat understand, you get cute girls and can simp them but why tf would i pay for a fotball player or a Character on SW? It does hurt being a Halo fan. 4 was really divisive and fractured the community as well as *butchered* the art style, 5's campaign was absolute dogshit and blatant false advertising, and Infinite was a massive disappointment. On top of that, the TV show spits on the franchise and was made by people that have never even played the games. Halo is dead and 343 killed it. Master Chief Collection is the only thing keeping it on life support (MCC is amazing, but still).
Depends if you count remakes… dead space remake was one if their latest big hits. And the newer jedi series games are a ton of fun aswell. EA did make a great come back in the last 2 years, before those 2 years they had a long long bad period of studio killing and bad games.
I defend fallout 76 a lot since it improved a ton since launch (wich was horrible). But why include all these other publishers games? Make a video about EA begin with all other publishers, wich most of them had some mishaps but they are all pretty decent now. And EA is being knocked of this throne quite fast. Most people would put former abk (since the ms deal is through its former, we need time to see what the new brings) and ubisoft as the worst now. EA did done great things with EA orginals and the great dead space remake and jedi series. Something former abk and ubisoft cant say. EA is still a shitty greedy company, but its far from the worst publisher at this point. That questionable throne went ubisoft for now.

Mass Effect 2 was the last great game from EA. Everything after that was downhill in terms of general quality.
