I knew I was hearing a glimpse of something incredible while I was fighting him, had to come and check it out as a piece. Such an understated kind of menace to it, absolutely fantastic.
I actually really enjoyed this fight, the room is reminiscent of Midir and the boss looks like Orphan (they knew what they were doing lmao) Def my favorite OST so far, thx for posting this 🤍 (There's so many Bloodborne references in the DLC and I love them so much for it ❤)
Not necessarily, we also have knights of godwyn yet there’s no proof godwyn was ever going to be in the dlc besides fan theories. We also technically had knights of gloam eyed queen in base game (godskins) yet she never appeared. Having her knight be here doesn’t rlly mean she would have been in the dlc, it just means lorewise this character had a tie to her and that’s all we know.
Hated the boss fight. But the drop down to the arena with calm music, just for it to pick up filled me with a sense of urgency that had me holding my breath.
In terms of composition, this theme sounds like an off-vocal version of Mohg, Lord of Blood to me. Aesthetically, the Putrescent Knight reminds me of an amalgamated, oozy, skeletal mass of Mohg as well as the albinaurics and omens impaled by Messmer atop a rotting Leonard (Radahn's mount). I use spirits most of the time but this boss was so fun to learn so I didn't summon to keep all the boss aggro on me, is a very easy boss but one of the funniest imo (he doesn't have a lot of flashing attacks of weird stuff which gives it extra points)

Orphan of kos was so much harder imo but i get what you mean : )
Also the setup is basically Maiden Astraea/Garl Vinland's fight.
The moment I stopped rolling backwards or to the sides: "Oh."
This guy took me an hour to beat but it was such a fun fight to learn so it felt quick.
Its development name is Knight of the Gloomeyed Queen.

Such a good boss (aside from the aim making my giant sword miss even tho im directly on him). Most fun boss of the DLC imo.
